Just returned home from my second trip to Unico 2087, and I’m pleased to say that two years later, the resort has maintained the same incredible standards that made me fall in love with it the first time. The rooms are absolutely stunning—spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with every comfort in mind. After a day in the sun at the pool, you enter the most refreshing room to relax in. The food is consistently amazing, with every restaurant offering something unique and delicious. My favorites are the Chicken Parm with Alfredo at the Italian restaurant, ribeye steak tacos at the Mexican restaurant and you MUST do the Mayan coffee there as well. The pool offers incredible pizza, tortas, & tacos to name just a few of my favorites. The staff goes above and beyond in every way; they’re attentive, friendly, and truly make you feel taken care of from the moment you arrive. It’s rare to find a resort that delivers the same “wow” factor visit after visit, but Unico 2087 does exactly that. I can’t wait to return again—it’s truly one of my favorite places to relax and recharge.

From the moment I arrived at UNICO 2087, I felt completely relaxed and immersed in a stunning, vibrant environment. This adults-only resort truly redefines the all-inclusive experience with its exquisite blend of local culture, modern luxury, and thoughtful amenities. The hydrothermal therapy session and spa massage were absolute highlights—hands down the most rejuvenating and calming spa experience I’ve had in a long time. Plus, I loved that fitness classes and personal trainers were complimentary, making it easy to stay active while indulging. The décor throughout the resort is jaw-droppingly beautiful, from the chic lobby to the elegant restaurants and stylish rooms. Every detail reflects a sophisticated, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Whether you’re planning a romantic honeymoon, a destination wedding, or simply a luxurious getaway with friends, UNICO 2087 offers a perfect balance of relaxation, culture, and fun. I can’t recommend it enough!

Me and my husband just got back from a relaxing 5 night stay at unico and we have nothing but great feedback! We stayed from 10/10/25 to 10/15/25. The resort itself is very pristine and beautiful. It was our anniversary and so we wanted to go somewhere we can relax and still do a few excursions but most of all, to just sit by the pool, be at the beach, drink and eat away and that’s exactly what we did. The people and staff first of all were very welcoming, friendly and helpful! Everyone we met during our stay be it the front desk, servers, bartenders, helpers, entertainment staff, spa staff etc. everyone was truly AMAZING! Everyone would always introduce themselves and give you a smile. Please make sure to tip them as they all truly work so hard. The restaurants were marvelous. We were able to try all 5 five restaurants for dinner and our favorite one is the Japanese restaurant but all of them were excellent. The drinks were superb and they kept on coming too! We were able to do the mixology class which you have to make sure to do it was super fun! We also did the snorkeling, pickleball, bingo night, silent disco, hat making and we booked excursions through the hotel which were the ATV express and Jetski but they were with another resort although the hotel would sort out the transportation for you. We also did a couple massage which was very relaxing. Overall, we had a blast and looking forward to our next visit to Unico’s other partner hotels! A few people we want to mention (sorry we didn’t get the names of other staff I wish I remembered to write them all down) : Antonio - our local host who dealt with all the restaurant bookings and we’re always one message away David - he works in the entertainment and was with us during pickleball and snorkeling Henrry - our server in the Italian restaurant Aldhair - our server in the Mexican restaurant George & Alejandro - our servers in the French restaurant Thank you for a great stay!

We went for our honeymoon and our local host Eduardo was a legend! He organized romantic surprises in the room for my wife, amazing dinners, and he even bought aloe Vera to the room for me when he heard I had got a sunburn! I genuinely want to be a better person after feeling the warmth and kindness of Eduardo, Rafa, Herman, and Jackie! We had Jackie as our concierge and she arranged discounts on our sunset sailing excursions and made us feel like VIPs everytime we saw her infectious smile across the pool. Jackienl and Herman even gifted us a bottle of tequila when we had the smallest of misunderstandings about a reservation that was entirely my fault! We don't normally spend this much money on a vacation but we genuinely felt like royalty when we stayed here. The food at the Resort is absolutely delicious at every resteraunt and even the pool bars. Everyone of the staff members across the whole resort were just so kind and so welcoming. Our rooms were so clean and well stocked twice a day at a minimum. Our only issue was that we almost had too much complinemtary champagne and tequila from Eduardo and Jackie in our room. We spent so much time trying every cocktail and amazing meal at the Resort we would forget that they had treated us to such amazing romantic options. Update: I wanted to add a shout out to Lucia who served us drinks and food at the pool who always made us smile. And another shout out to Josue the pool concierge who helped us with getting loungers, pool toys and anything we needed every morning. Both Josue and Lucia were instrumental in everyone having a seamless time at the pools and the property :)

Just got back from a short stay at Unico 20°87° Riviera Maya. Even though it was quick, I loved it. Each room has its own concierge who makes reservations super easy. You even get a pillow menu, choice of diffuser scents, turn-down service, and bubbles for your private jacuzzi. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The food and drinks were great (definitely not your typical all-inclusive). Don’t miss the Mayan coffee at Cueva Siete or the filet at Mi Carisa. Staff was so friendly and attentive, and the entertainment was a nice mix-fun DJ pool parties some days and more relaxed vibes on others. The beach was clean and the water was still swimmable even if not crystal clear this time of year. I’d definitely come back to try the rest of the restaurants!
