The Barcelo Maya Riviera all-inclusive programme includes the following:

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurants and bars at the complex - all the à la carte restaurants require prior booking and have a dress code.
  • Regional drinks - soft drinks, beer, wine, house liquor, cocktails and coffee.
  • Welcome cocktail.
  • Towel and sun-lounger service on the beach and by the swimming pool.
  • Daytime and evening entertainment with activities for all ages.
  • Free entry to the daily show with drinks included in the Kukulkan and Palenque theatres.
  • Club with drinks included from 23.00 to 2.00 for over 18s only.
  • Catholic mass in the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe chapel.
  • Guest Transport Service from 8am to 2.30pm.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Definitely recommend making reservations at the restaurants. Our favorites were La Dulce Vita and Sapporo — our server Modesta De La Cruz was so lovely and the salmon was delicious! The rooms and the whole property was clean. Shoutout to Sarah, one of the activity directors at the pool too, she was so sweet and fun. The weather was gorgeous and it was a lovely week on vacation. The drinks could’ve been better though ;)

Barcelo Maya Riviera adults only is the sixth resort with a modern look which is not our preferred look. The grounds are immaculate and the beach is cleaned daily. The bay is more protected than the usual beach along the coast with much coral. The housekeeping staff are great (sorry didn’t get any names). The Buffet Miramar is staffed by very hard working friendly staff. A few names we recall are (in no particular order) Francisco, David, Yazumi, Yoandro, Martin, Issac and Etsain. There are other servers and we have enjoyed the service. As there are only 4 Al La Carte restaurants it would be nice if the buffet was available a couple times a week to avoid the loud crowds at the other buffets within the other resorts. We really appreciate the amount of loungers available on the beach. The entertainment is okay but unfortunately the construction of the building and acoustics in the area give too much echo which makes the speaker hard to hear. Overall we thank the hardworking staff of the resort for making our stay so enjoyable.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Barcelo May Riviera. With access to all 6 resorts on the property, there was so much to explore. The restaurants are amazing, the drinks are delicious (and yes - they serve casears!!), and the service is the best I've ever experienced at a resort - everyone from the front desk, guest services, to the restaurants/buffets & bars, and cleaning crew were all smiles, friendly and laid back, and so welcoming all the time. They even brought fresh towels around in the late afternoon which was a pleasant surprise and a welcome touch when cleaning up before dinner. I would recommend bringing water shoes as there were sections of the beach that had rocks/coral - which makes for great snorkeling but is a little hard on the feet. The WIFI could be a little spotty at times but was quite good overall. These are very minor details that did not take away from what was pretty much a perfect vacation. We will 100% be back - and I can't wait!

We ate at Dolce Vita and this was by far the best restaurant at the resort. The bread basket had an assortment of delicious breads, the caprese was very flavorful and well presented. I highly recommend the mushroom cream soup and the lasagna. I also had the most amazing Bellini that I have had in a long time. Our servers were Julio Rodriquez and Cristofer Morales. They were a great, attentive team. Muy Bueno!!!!
