Recently stayed here for a much needed vacation. The hotel itself was nice, the room was lovely. The food could be better. Drinks are very expensive. Pool is super busy, hard to get a spot at. My main complain was that on our last night, around 11pm I got very bad food poisoning and was up all night sick, resulting in my pushing my flight back a day. My friend had to leave the next morning and asked to extend our stay for one more night. They told her an extra day would be $350. For the previous 4 nights our total was a little over $500. Ridiculous price for an additional night. And this was for a Monday. They said it was the “walk in rate”. It didn’t appear to be busy. This was obviously disappointing but there wasn’t much I could do about it due to how sick I was. Also, cherry on top was later that night I found a roach in my room. Overall, this is a fine place to stay and the location is great, but the service really bummed me out.

Came to enjoy the roof top infinity pool and they didn’t disappoint! The customer service was great! They always made sure you were happy and didn’t need anything. The burger was phenomenal! They catered for drinks which weren’t on the menu neither which is a big bonus for me! Their cocktails were made to perfection too! Would definitely recommend!

Wow! this place is amazing. The room, the service, the location. If I ever come back to Playa del Carmen I'm staying here. Resorts are good but I enjoy needing to leave to eat and socialize. Loved my stay. Easily One of the best places I've stayed. I had an Inner court yard room, heard absolutely no noise. none. I work nights and this place allowed me to reset. Loved it. The shower was amazing in the room. The pool was great, hot tub awesome. The bartenders on the roof serving drinks were top notch. 🍻 Remembered my name, so friendly. Thank you for a great trip, everyone who made it all possible. You all are were amazing. Stay here you won't be disappointed. Thank you.

Our first time in Playa del Carmen. And The Fives Downtown did not disappoint! Everything was first rate. Room was interior courtyard with balcony. Very spaceful, yet quiet and peaceful. Outstanding service! Too many names to remember but Ernesto, Renzo and Yarely were fantastic! Totally customer focused and wanting to ensure your vacation is perfect. What can I say about the rooftop pool? Look at the hotel photos. It really is that beautiful. Food is great. Happy hour for HHonors gold and above. We will be back!!

Perfect location when staying in Playa del Carmen, 2 mins from shopping mall, close to fifth avenue, close to loads of amazing restaurants. Breakfast is small but has the essentials such as eggs, toast, pancakes. Room was lovely and clean, big room, amazing service when things went wrong. Pool is on roof, amazing views of area and sea. Great price, and as not all inclusive get a chance to explore the food in the area with many restaurant surround the hotel. Will definitely be coming back when visiting Mexico!
