The Pyramid Cancun is an all-inclusive luxury resort with adult-only exclusive areas. There is great diversity of all-inclusive culinary options: gourmet restaurants, Mexican, Italian, Japanese, international, seafood, sushi, and snacks.

The programme generally consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, served in a variety of restaurants. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served throughout the day (except during meal times).

We stayed at the resort for 8 nights and were upgraded to an ocean-view room, which turned out to be the best decision we could have made. The room was clean and offered a spectacular view directly overlooking the stunning Caribbean beach. The beds were very comfortable, and housekeeping was efficient and reliable. We’re honestly not sure where all the negative reviews come from. We’re an easy-going couple and didn’t have extremely high expectations, especially as this was our first big overseas trip (we live in London). Still, the experience exceeded everything we imagined. When they say all-inclusive, they truly mean ALL INCLUSIVE: minibar included, unlimited drinks by the pool, food stands, and gourmet food in the à la carte restaurants. Lunch at the à la carte restaurants doesn’t require reservations (you may wait a few minutes for a table), while dinner does require booking. Thanks to reading reviews beforehand, we booked all our dinner reservations on the first day for the entire stay — a smart move we highly recommend. The service was outstanding from check-in to check-out — at the bars, restaurants, and throughout the resort. A special thank you to Frida at the concierge, who helped us choose a different restaurant each evening. Every dinner was a surprise and absolutely exceptional. Gourmet food of this quality, included in the hotel price, is something we rarely experience. Coming from Europe, where many expensive all-inclusive resorts offer only low-quality buffet food with poor wines and beers, we were truly impressed. In comparison, The Pyramid at Grand Oasis exceeded our expectations in every way. Our advice to future guests: read the reviews, book your à la carte restaurants in advance, don’t act surprised if they’re fully booked — and simply enjoy the experience. A huge thank you to all the staff and to Robin, the manager on duty, for making our holiday unforgettable ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Pyramid Oasis! We had the ocean front master suite and it was beautiful and cleaned every day for us. We never had problems getting chairs for the pool or beach like other reviews say- we were up before 9 every morning and secured chairs. We booked reservations ahead of time for all the restaurants so we never had to eat at the buffet. All of the restaurants were fantastic and delicious! Black Sens was a very cool experience that I’ve never done before anywhere else, and would definitely recommend dining there! Most people working were friendly and willing to help, we just experienced the issue of language barriers at times. I definitely recommend staying at the Pyramid as long as you are someone willing to plan ahead.

Our overall experience at this resort in Cancun was very disappointing, especially considering we booked and paid for a Master Suite. The room we received did not match the photos shown at the time of booking. The Master Suite advertised clearly showed a bathtub on the balcony, which was one of the main reasons we chose this category. Upon arrival, we contacted reception and were told that this feature was “subject to availability” and that there were no rooms like that available for us. What was never made clear is that there are effectively two different types of “Master Suites”, one clearly superior and another significantly inferior — and we were placed in the lesser version. This felt misleading and was extremely frustrating right from the start of our stay. In addition, the so-called “exclusive” restaurant for guests staying in Sian Ka’an / pyramid rooms is completely inadequate for the number of guests it serves. Breakfast was consistently overcrowded, with long lines and no sense of exclusivity whatsoever. Service speed was another major issue. At Café del Mar, breakfast took over 35 minutes to arrive for a very simple order: • 1 fried eggs with toast • 1 salmon toast • 2 empanadas • 1 chicken wrap This delay explains the constant line accumulating at the entrance — the service simply cannot handle the demand. To make matters worse, the hotel does not assist with booking airport transfers for guests. This is an extremely basic service that virtually any hotel around the world provides, especially one that positions itself as a high-end or luxury resort. Overall, the experience did not live up to the price, the marketing, or the expectations set by the room category. We left feeling disappointed and misled. Although the views are beautiful, Unfortunately, we would not return nor recommend this resort.

We stayed here nine nights, and our family of four had a wonderful holiday. The pool and the beach were definitely highlights. We definitely plan on coming back here. The housekeepers Graciela and Raquel we're so friendly and always left our room spotless. The resort is beautiful we always saw people cleaning and making sure you were well taken care of. We've been to Cancun many times and we will definitely be returning to this resort. Thank you for making our holiday so amazing.

Our experience at the Pyramid of Cancun was fine, but nothing exceptional. The staff was friendly overall, and the food was okay. We never ran out of food at the buffet, despite some reviews warning about that. Depending on the time you go, there can be a wait especially during msin dinner times...but we personally never waited more than about 15 minutes. One downside was the lack of lounge chairs around the pools. Like many resorts, if you don’t go very early to put towels down and reserve chairs, you likely won’t find any available later in the day. Personally, we paid the $75 for a private cabana, which I thought was a good deal and made the pool experience much more enjoyable. This was a family vacation, and for that purpose, the resort worked well enough. The rooms, however, were below par. They weren’t anything special, and some had visible mold. My niece’s room also had cockroaches, which was disappointing and hard to overlook. One thing worth noting is that I am a Spanish speaker, and it’s possible that helped our experience when interacting with staff. I can’t say for certain how service compares for non–Spanish-speaking guests, but it may be something to keep in mind. Would I visit again? Possibly...especially if I were looking for a budget-friendly all-inclusive. But it’s not the kind of place that makes you say, “I’m definitely coming back.” Overall, you get what you pay for, and this is not a high-end, luxury all-inclusive experience. All that said I enjoyed my time there.
