I think all reviews before Dec 2025 need to be disregarded. My stay at The Sens was great! It’s on the beach and the hotel is gorgeous. Room: I stayed in the adults only (Sian Ka’an) section, in the Master Suite, and omg I barely left my room. It had amazing views and a private plunge pool and great sun loungers. There’s also a rooftop for the adults only section with beds and several plunge pools as well (so you don’t really need the Master Suite to get the same amenity). Restaurants: The Miramar (seafood/grill) and Careyes (gourmet) restaurants were sooo good. The buffet is okay, typical for an all inclusive; not great, not bad. Activities: They had daily yoga and other small daily activities. The vibe here was definitely more on the chill side. Service: Everyone I came in contact with was super friendly! They give you a map with basically all the info you need. They also have a WhatsApp to reach the front desk if you need (although i just used the room phone). It did take a while to get water bottles sent to the room so just keep that in mind. Definitely would stay here again!

The 5 stars are for : Antonio: the Sens bar/Sian Ka’an. He is amazing. Amazing drinks, always smiling, perfect and delicious drinks and wonderful fresh fruit. Management needs to change the soundtrack - same song everyday! Poor Antonio- his margaritas lulled the sound for us. Artemio & Sandy at Miramar: amazing service. Waits were long but this is not their fault. They were both very attentive, super hard working and willing to accomodate any of our requests. We thoroughly enjoyed their service during our trip. Antonio: at Serape. Amazing. Smiles all the time. Super fast service. Such a pleasure. Our otherwise more fulsome comments posted through our other Google account to not take away from these amazing servers. The beach: Paradise for snorkelers. An amazing reef awaits just off the beach. Bring goggles or a mask and you can enjoy beautiful fish & rays just steps away from your room bring water shoes as there are corals which any snorkels and divers know invite amazing fish, and more things to see.

The Resort was lovely, the food was amazing, friendly staff and it was super quiet when we were there - no one fighting over lounge chairs by the pool, but bar service by the pool & beach was nil, & so was nightly entertainment but that was because it was a slower time at the resort - because of it being quieter before Christmas, it was a truly relaxing experience. Downfall was the distance from Cancun airport - 3 hr bus ride getting there after a 5 1/2 hr flight and 2 hr bus ride back to airport, but all in all I would recommend the resort.

5 stars on service for: Antonio at Sian ka’an, Sandy and Artemio at Miramar and Antonio at Serape. These folks were working so hard and running to serve. Excellent service. Outside this there were some serious downsides.

I recently stayed at this hotel with an upgraded all-inclusive plan, and unfortunately, my experience was far from the relaxing getaway I had hoped for. From the moment I checked in, things went awry. The check-in process was disorganized, and it quickly became apparent that the room I was assigned did not match the description provided during booking. I found myself in a frustrating situation, unable to open my luggage and left in limbo for nearly 24 hours while waiting to change rooms. To make matters worse, I was asked to sign liability waivers before even seeing the new room. During check-in, there was no orientation provided, leaving my family and I to navigate the hotel on our own. Despite paying for an upgraded plan that promised turn-down service, this was never fulfilled. When I requested new towels and water refills, the response time was excessively long—over two hours. When I called to follow up, I was told that I needed to remember the name of the person I had spoken to, which seems unreasonable when issues arise. The reception staff at the upgraded area were polite but lacked warmth and empathy, which made the entire experience feel unwelcoming. A little kindness goes a long way, especially in hospitality. I share this review not just to express my disappointment but in the hope that management can take these concerns seriously and make necessary improvements. Guests deserve a seamless and enjoyable experience, especially when paying for an upgraded plan.
