Our overall experience was excellent! There was only 2 issues during our stay: 1. Some much mosquitoes, I got bitten at least 20times, even inside the restaurants.. the hotel should have better pest control. 2. No hot water whenever I want to shower, I understand there are rush hours like when everyone is back from the pool and needed a shower, but there are days I woke in the morning wanting to get shower at 7-8am and there's no hot water! Other than that everything was perfect! The food was amazing! Many drink options, some reviews says it's water down but I think it's just perfect for me. The staffs was friendly, room was clean.

My partner and I recently stayed at Platinum Princess Yucatán and had an amazing time! The staff were all incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for you — always with a huge smile. Room - we had a swim-up room in Block 1, which is the quieter area of the resort — perfect for us, as the main pool could get a bit lively at times but it never affected our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily, with the minibar replenished each time. The only minor downside was that the air conditioning was a little noisy and didn’t cool the room below 24°C even when left on constantly, though it wasn’t a major issue. It would also be nice if the swim-up rooms had the same loungers as those at the main pool — the hard plastic ones provided aren’t as comfortable or suitable for lying face down. Restaurants - there are four à la carte restaurants at the Yucatán section of the resort — Italian, Steak Grill, Asian, and International Gourmet — and no reservations are needed. Each one is nicely themed, the food was lovely, and the staff were super friendly. Note that shorts and swimwear aren’t allowed in the à la carte restaurants. The buffet offers a huge selection of high-quality food, and drinks are served at your table. Bryan, one of the waiters, was absolutely brilliant — hilarious, energetic, and made every visit to the buffet so much fun! You can also dine at the restaurants in the neighbouring sister hotels, but those need to be booked two days in advance and are family-friendly (which can change the vibe a bit). Pools and Drinks - there’s an excellent poolside drink service — staff come around to take orders and bring drinks straight to you, saving a trip to the bar. Deysi in particular was fantastic, always attentive and often bringing us refills before we even asked — top-notch service! The only negative interaction we had was with one staff member, Elisa at the beach bar, who was unexpectedly rude when we asked if it was open. She replied, “Use your eyes, does it look open?” — quite shocking, really. Hopefully, she was just having an off day! Spa - we both had deep tissue massages, which were excellent, and then used the spa facilities afterward. While it’s not the most elaborate spa, it was still very enjoyable, with a hydrotherapy pool, outdoor loungers, a sauna, and a steam room. Overall, we had an amazing time and are already planning to return. The friendliness and positivity of the staff made the whole experience extra special. Highly recommended!

Had a really great time at this hotel. Wa initially worried the renovation of the sister hotel might make it extra busy or noisy but it was really peaceful and we never had to wait for a table. The room was massive and the all inclusive drinks did go to my head. It was worth paying the extra. All the staff (apart from one) were really helpful and attentive. Would definitely return.

Staff was remarkable!! Made you feel safe and comfortable! Stayed here for a week, Would definitely recommend, property was beautiful relaxing, enjoyed the food and the shows! Dancers did a remarkable show every night, thankyou to all the hard working employees Our waitress Janet such a beautiful person inside and out! Our BIGGEST THANK YOU and shout out is to the Bellhop Enrique!! Honestly the most down to earth guy very respectful and really looking out for us to have the best time possible! He took very good care of us and made sure we had anything we needed upon request! He is an outstanding host and Bellhop! Definitely deserves a raise

Good afternoon, i really enjoy staying at this result, i been here about 4 times and 1 of the times was for me and my wife honeymoon. I really enjoy the involved activities, the setting, the staff is amazing. and been here 3 times for my bday and going again this year dec 4th - dec 7th..im newly divorce now so this will be the second year i will be there by myself. I wish they had a program for the customers who comes there often
