This place provided the best escape from my usual busy routine. The all inclusive packages are awesome. Mahfouz and Muataz made sure we are able to get the room the best suit me and my friend plus an excellent view. The also allowed it to use the facilities after we checked out as we had a late flight.

This place is incredible, don't know how it could be less than 5 stars. We would give it ten stars if we could! Hard to know where to start, but it's gorgeous, absolute perfection. The grounds are beautiful and there is so much to do. The big pool is incredible. We were there at the start of March and loved that it was unheated, and there's a little sauna on 'jacuzzi island' right there you can pop into to get roasting hot. The lazy river is a highlight, pure bliss. There's a giant chess board, ping pong, pedalos, beautiful turquoise see. The planting in the grounds is stunning, beautiful trees and flowers. Beautiful sunsets, hot dry weather, views of the mountains in the distance. Great quality cocktails in the lobby bars. We're vegetarian and found the food amazing, especially at the standard buffet restaurant. So many options, we couldn't get tired of it. The staff of course really make it, they are working tirelessly and do a wonderful job. It's a very peaceful, beautiful resort to spend time in, an amazing place.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I am really missing it. The grounds and number of pools and swimming options are massive. The amount of stuff included in the all-inclusive is astounding, you will never get a chance to do everything. I missed that they include 1 dinner per week at one of their higher end restaurants the buffet restaurants are lovely so much choice and they chance everything daily so you never get bored. I was annoyed with myself that I discovered the sauna and jacuzzi island the day before I was due to leave.
Also I went on my own but paid for two people they refunded me $250 at the end of my stay.

We spent a heavenly week at Steigenberger ALDAU and didn’t want to come home!
Check in was a breeze and the staff very friendly with plenty of info but also giving in written form so as to not over whelm.
The room was lovely & spacious with a separate shower and bath tub which I LOVED. The balcony was big enough and had space to dry swimwear which was great. The air con was great in room & there were loads of TV channels in English including movies.
The hotel main buffet restaurant was well organised and the staff very friendly and attentive (without tipping!), yes the food could become a little repetitive if you only ate there and were selective but I had no issues. I was also impressed as I mentioned my nut allergy & they then put desserts which were nut free in a section after the first day which was above and beyond what I expected.
The theme restaurants were all great & we really enjoyed them, my favourites were the sushi & teppanyaki. The teppanyaki we were lucky to be on a “table” with fun people so it was really good.
We visited the spa and I loved it! I had a wellness package and then another 75min massage another day and honestly it was heavenly. My husband had 2 x 75min massages and was impressed too.
The pool / beach area were very well maintained (the gardens as a whole were excellently kept, hats off to the gardeners!) and the waiters were fab at coming round with drinks and taking orders, not over bearing and always perfectly timed. The life guards were also very good to help people find sunbeds. The pool towels were also nice & long and wide! The red bags worked & sellers respected this which was great to aid relaxation!
The lobby bar was great for snacks & cocktails & staff always friendly too.
Security staff were always friendly when we came and went and we felt safe the whole time.
Overall I would highly recommend the hotel and hope to visit again for another week of relaxation!

Very nice hotel i recommend it. It is expensive so it is better to go only when there is a good offer for it.
The rooms are clean, they all see the sea from the second floor up. The food quality is above perfect. The staff is very helpful and always there if you need anything.
