very low budget hotel. cleanliness at a very low level. drinks are served in plastic disposable glasses. All inclusive only includes cheap alcohol that tastes terrible and beer. if you want normal alcohol, buy it. the beach bar is without straw umbrellas and the sun chairs ar old and dirty. Italian restaurant pizza is not eatable. All party’s is for fee. Not All Inclusive.

We stayed at the Royal Lagoons Resort in Hurghada from 12–26 December, 2025, and had a wonderful all-inclusive experience. The hotel was excellent in every way: comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent value for money. The Christmas Gala dinner and show were especially impressive and well organized. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable, and the hotel played a big role in making our holiday in Egypt a success. Highly recommended for a pleasant and memorable stay in Hurghada. We booked excursions in the hotel after meeting with Hossam Yousif from Sun International and everything was handled professionally and with genuine care. Egypt is now my favourite place for winter sunshine. Felt very safe. Staff very friendly but not intrusive. Food was excellent and extremely good value for money. Not a UK five star hotel. More like 3. But no complaints.

We had 2 rooms and they are really good, clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff are polite, friendly, and helpful. I cannot fault the place. It was such a great experience at this hotel. We stayed 10 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A special mention to Teddy Bear, he was one of the entertainment staff who was always around, so friendly and helpful.

Good bits.......... 90% of the staff were amazing and made us all feel welcome. The entertainment team really were amazing and deserve a pay rise! The food was ok. Regular free bus trip to beach Good location. Bad bits...... The Hala shish bar Hisam owner will rip you off so pay as you go do not run up a tab. The 20% discount cards they give out mean nothing and despite tipping we still got ripped off so avoid. The all inclusive drinks are despicable so budget for drinks outside the resort or bring your own from duty free. On site shops expensive .......they all say they will look after you but you are far better off going to the shopping centre where the museum is, everything is priced reasonably and no false promises. Also the "Fresh juice " is half the price and will be cold. Beware of "odd job" who will be very pushing trying to sell you a white party and a bbq. Over priced and not worth the money. The entertainment although good is on late compared to other resorts. Overview.....on the whole a great holiday by all......would we return? Yes for sure and we know exactly what to do and not to do next time. Thank you to all the staff at royal lagoons aqua park we will miss you!
