This is one of the best resorts in Abu Dhabi. I can say this, since I have stayed in many hotels and resorts but this one is on top of the list. Excellent Service, spacious rooms and at great location in my opinion. Ambient is calm and it has access to beach front and big pool. My family enjoyed a lot. Also, the food selection is great and it does justice to its reputation. Definitely will visit again. Don't forget to go for a Boat ride if you stay in the hotel.

Nice hotel, rooms were great and spacious, however would not recommend if you are traveling with young children. Feels like the hotel caters more for people who are on business trips. If you want to have a drink indoor with your family in the evening the only place you can sit is a tiny family room in the horizon club lounge, if you did not pay for the club lounge only other place is outside by the pool bar. Raised the issue with management but did not get much of a resolution. Wont be back here again anytime soon.

Had an amazing experience at Shangri-La! Big thanks to Sai, Anne, and Vishal at Sofra restaurant for their warm hospitality and excellent service—the food was great and they made us feel truly welcomed. Also, shoutout to Adrian and Mohamed for the relaxing Abra boat ride. It was such a peaceful and scenic experience, and they were both very friendly and professional. Definitely a memorable visit—we’ll be back!

The service is what would bring me back over and over. From the valet, concierge & very helpful reception staff to the luxurious room, delicious breakfast and amazing views of the mosque. The turn down service was a cherry on top and just so inviting for the peaceful sleep you get in their comfortable beds. I loved the soothing cascade of the waterfall shower and the complimentary toiletries were a thoughtful touch, adding a touch of luxury to the experience.

Sabahat Mukadam
Possibly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Rooms are spacious and clean. Service was incredible and staff were all friendly. The buffet breakfast and dinner has an incredible selection of food which tastes fresh. The infinity pool has a lovely view of the mosque and enough beds so you don’t feel like you have to fight for a space.
