Was looking forward to a luxury vacation experience based on the brand's reputation, but I left a bit disappointed. The arrival experience was great with the valet/bellman assistance, friendly desk associated, and grand atrium lobby tastefully decorated. Room size and furnishing were comfortable. Onsite restaurants were good and tasty for dinner. However overall breakfast experience was not good, as insufficient seating availability, no service and grumpy staff attitude, and dirty dishes always in sight. Food offerings were sufficient and nice, but felt very basic and common, compared to what options other 5-star hotels in the area are delivering. Not the most memorable hotel stay during this vacation, as there are many high end hotels to choose from.

Exceptional Service and Hospitality I have traveled extensively and stayed in numerous hotels across different countries, and this is truly one of the best experiences I’ve had. The service is outstanding, and the hospitality is top-notch. Housekeeping visits twice a day—once in the morning for a thorough cleaning and again in the evening to prepare the room for a comfortable night’s sleep. The staff is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. The hotel is peaceful and well-maintained, ensuring a relaxing stay. I had access to the club lounge, where they offered a fantastic selection of drinks and delicious food throughout the day. The amenities are excellent, adding to the overall luxury of the stay. I absolutely loved my experience here and highly recommend it! And just so you know—I’m extremely picky when it comes to hotels, so this truly says a lot!

I stayed at this hotel around 3–4 weeks ago, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The biggest issue was the customer service it was unhelpful and dismissive from the start. We were told the deposit must be paid by card, even though it’s clear that cash is also accepted. This caused unnecessary inconvenience during check-in. Additionally, I had another booking scheduled for this week. On the day of my previous visit, I informed the staff in person to cancel that future booking. I was assured it would be handled, but they failed to follow through. Today, I was surprised to see the amount for that booking deducted from my account, despite clearly asking for the cancellation weeks ago. This level of miscommunication and lack of responsibility is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that should be focused on guest satisfaction. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t be returning or recommending this place to others.

Our overall experience at Dusit Thani was great. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and all necessary appliances were available. The express laundry service was on time, and the hotel atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxing. However, the reception setup needs serious attention. It’s split into two counters—one is directly visible when you enter, while the other is hidden behind a column. This design causes confusion, especially during busy times, as guests naturally queue up at the visible counter, while the hidden one stays empty. There’s no staff to guide guests or organize the flow, which leads to delays and frustration. We shared our feedback with the on-site manager, Mr. Ahmed, and hope they will consider implementing a better system for managing queues and guiding guests. Great hospitality overall, but a more organized reception would make the experience much smoother.
