Our family recently had a fantastic stay at this resort! The rooms were incredibly spacious, which was a huge plus for us. The room service was prompt and the food was always delicious. What really stood out was the staff; they were so accommodating and went above and beyond to help with any questions or issues we had. It’s a very family and kid-friendly place, and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The variety of restaurants and food choices was excellent, and we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort. Plus, there’s so much to do just outside the hotel, with great shopping, museums, excursions, and even theme parks nearby. We can’t wait to come back!

My partner and I stayed for 8 nights in November for the first time. I’ll start with the positives we experienced during our stay. Firstly the location is perfect, you are equally close to Yas Island or the city and can enjoy exploring both, you’re also very close to the new cultural district which has museums to explore. The beach is stunning along with the sunsets you can view. Next the service, every staff member there is incredibly kind and helpful, from the pool to each restaurant, they can’t do enough to help. Finally the common areas are stunning, the decor is extravagant and clearly a lot of thought has been put into it. Now onto the negatives, if you are not a family this is not the hotel for you. It is a predominantly family friendly hotel with only one main pool. There is a huge kids pool with slides and a wave pool that was empty during our stay, we were told by staff that this was because alcohol is not served in these areas so the parents prefer the main pool. An easy fix would be to change this rule or something more permanent would be to build an Adults only pool. There were some areas of sun loungers that were adult only but they were not poolside and they also had children there with staff not enforcing the rule. Onto the food, we were really disappointed in the quality of food at the resort, even in the al a carte restaurants, it was fine but not in standing with the cost of the stay. The drinks on offer were generally really good, except the wine, of which there were only two option of both red and white - both of which weren’t great. The rooms themselves looked tired, I don’t think there has been any work done to maintain the standard since opening and it showed. Paint peeling and chipped, and general wear and tear on the furniture. We stayed in the fourth floor overlooking the pool in a sea view room, at multiple points during our stay there was a smell of sewage in the hallway. One evening we returned to our room and the smell was incredibly strong inside, I called reception immediately to report it, they called back after 20 minutes to offer us a new room on the ground floor, but at this point is was 11pm and we were tired. My parents were staying two doors down and had the same issue and the same solution was offered however again not appropriate at the time, after a while the smell started to dissipate so we were able to get to sleep. The following day management followed up with my mum (not me) and offered the same room again, however we had selected the sea view rooms for exactly that so it wasn’t an appropriate compensation, they also offered my parents a discount upon their next stay. I work in hospitality and this was shocking to me, you should not have to pay extra in order to solve a solution that has happened during this stay. The hotel could have easily offered a complimentary gesture such as resort credit and it would have been a welcomed, particularly given the cost of the stay. Upon checkout nothing was mentioned to me at all, no apology or acknowledgment of the issue, so I asked to speak with a Manager. I explained the problem and advised how I was really disappointed with the communication and management of the whole issue, she had no idea about it and also no idea who had been communicating with my parents, but reassured me she would fix it as they had two more days left of their stay. Unfortunately no one reached out to them at all, and upon checking out they were informed that a ‘free’ bottle of prosecco had been placed in their room - this was incorrect, so potentially was left in the wrong room - and again this is the same prosecco that is complimentary across the resort so no real effort. It was an incredibly disappointing end to a mostly positive stay at the Rixos, I would encourage some Incident resolution training for their management along with taking the above feedback on board.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The location is perfect. Soft sandy beach, beautiful calm water, paradise😍 The staff were so friendly and smiling all the time no request was too much for them. To name some of many at the resturant: Firoj, Jim Kelly, Mige, Hussain, Tho Ta and Resty the door man. We had a great time and will be back next year. Thank you Rixos for a great stay. 👍🏼👏🏼

So far so good! Great location just 25 mins for the airport (no aircraft noise), great beach and the hotel covers a vast area so no feeling of being crammed in at all. This is our third a la carte restaurant during our stay and once again the food and service has been first class. Today at the Orient, great service with a smile for Ahron who looked after us. Just two days left for us in the Middle Eastern gem of a short stay!

Review of Orient Restaurant 28/11/25: Excellent food!! 10/10 every dish was amazing. The service was equally as good from all the staff, sofiya was great and so professional. We also loved the dj. The place was also very clean as were the toilets so a further thanks to the amazing cleaners.
