INDA HAUS
Room: Medium sized resort with 3 pools, waterpark for younger kids and the lazy river. The rooms were clean and well laid out. We lost hot water for a few hours on our last day but other than that I have no complaints about the room. Service: Carlos in the star class pool bar is a saint. He made sure we always had full drinks and also ensured that my daughter had fresh fruit. Most of the service was top notch with the odd exception. Entertainment: the evening shows mostly started at 9pm so we missed them all having a small child to put to bed but the pool staff actually had games and activities that got us out of our seats. Food: actually great for an all inclusive. The steakhouse was best, followed by the tapenyaki and the Indian. The biggest disappointment was the Mexican. Go figure. We paid to be star class which we felt was worth it. It gave us access to the star class pool (only heated pool). It also gave us more dinner options. Book all of your dinners on your first day or you won’t get a table. Get up before 7 to reserve your pool loungers.

Planet Hollywood was okay, definitely did not exceed expectations. The rooms were a little bit run down, with our balcony door handle hanging on by a thread. The water in the room was definitely an issue with occasional brown metallic smelling liquid coming out of the faucet. Additionally, the temperature of water in the shower was inconsistent and would go cold. The service was reasonably good, a lot of friendly staff. However, I did have an issue with some of the wait times for food (sometimes over an hour for pizza or at the sports bar). There was also a case where they were limiting us to 2 drinks per person at a time, which makes no sense when 1 person is grabbing 4 drinks for 4 people. We also had an instance where my group was asked to leave a review by lobby staff, to which we replied sure! I didn’t expect them to take control of my phone and give themselves 5 stars all around. This tactic is not honest and provides a misrepresentation of experiences that guests have. To people looking to book this resort. Overall not bad, but not great, the reviews are skewed a bit so I would not trust them 100%.

Fantastic vacation. Staff so friendly and eager to help. Beautiful beach. Directors room is amazing. The app is so convenient for booking restaurants and the chat function for assistance. Room key on bracelet is very convenient. Food and drinks very good. Service at al a carts fantastic. Unlimited towels. Grounds beautiful and well kept. Everything clean. Lazy river is lots of fun. Fresh hot tacos and quesadillas made by the pool.

Planet Hollywood Cancun has a lot of potential, but the experience was mixed overall. The decor and theme throughout the resort are impressive, and the rooms are comfortable and well designed, which were definite highlights of the stay. However, the drinks and bar quality were below expectations, both in taste and consistency. The buffet also had limited variety, and after a short time the options felt repetitive. The staff was generally okay, but service could be improved with more attentiveness and faster response to guests' needs. With improvements in beverage quality, buffet selection, and service attention, this resort could easily deliver a much better overall experience

We stayed at Planet Hollywood Cancun and overall had a good experience, with a few downsides. The room was really nice and spacious, which we loved. However, our fridge didn’t get filled with snacks like it was supposed to, which was a bit disappointing and not what we expected from an all-inclusive resort. The service has been great — staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food has also been good, with plenty of options and solid quality. One area that could definitely improve is the entertainment. It felt a bit lacking compared to other resorts, especially in the evenings. Also, the bus ride from the hotel took longer than expected, which made getting around a little inconvenient. Overall, it’s a nice resort with great service and comfortable rooms, but there’s room for improvement in entertainment and some details of the all-inclusive experience.
