The good stuff, the property is gorgeous, it is Cancun. The beach has the smoothest sand and perfect tiny waves that anyone can handle. The resort is pretty big and gives lots of room to explore, with different activities for all types of people, although there is not much of an adult themed activities calendar to be honest, other than some music in the adult scene pool. But don't expect cocktail classes or get to know you opportunities outside of the one small pool bar. Now the not do great, aka bad. And I'm not one to expect a lot, everyone is just trying to do their best in life....but... The tone of the service was the worst. The front desk did nothing on checkin other than tell me all the way I could get charged. They did not tell me where my room is or how to get there, I brought my own luggage to my room. There was no map provided, only the link to download an app which was fully down, not working, and when I asked about it they said just go left, you'll find your room. Them because the app was done I couldn't make reservations... I get it, so I went to the front desk to ask for help and they said they couldn't do anything to help, and I couldn't get a reservation anyway so just go to the buffet. When I asked really? They said well you could just try walking up to a spot and asking if there was a cancellation. Again so dismissive and unhelpful. As a solo traveler just looking to sit on the beach and read, maybe hang out at the pool and have fun with other guests, this place was just off the mark. The waiters and cleaning staff were all friendly and did their best but it's like bad management or something... I never felt like staff cared at all, even when my van picks up was late and I asked if they could check, they said you call on the number.... It's the van company planet Hollywood has linked on their sites... So one last disappointment

Fantastic resort! Don't listen to the haters! Had a fantastic family all inclusive vacation for 8 days. Great for adults and teens. There is an area for little ones too but we don't have any in our family. Shout out to Super Javi and Mafer! Building 21 and at the pool Francisco for being boss man and taking great care of us!!! Would love to go back ASAP!

We had a great time at Planet Hollywood! The Hollywood theme + decor was very fun and cool to see props from big movies all around the resort. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. At guest services Iley helped us out a lot! We came for a wedding and it was absolutely beautiful from the beachfront to the fireworks during the reception. We don’t have kids but there is LOADS for kids to do here. And an adults only section of the resort if that’s not your vibe. Totally recommend!

The resort is great with many nice restaurants and some good shopping options. The best part by far is the staff. They were so helpful even when we were tired and cranky. They were so kind to my wife with her dietary restrictions and really made the whole trip. Specifically we had a great experience in the shores restaurant and Gusto the Italian restaurant. Moises and Myra bent over backwards to support us and they made our trip so much better! They are both amazing. They made sure my wife had bananas and gluten free pancakes so that she could enjoy breakfast every morning.we are very grateful to have them.

We just returned from 5 days at Planet Hollywood and were blown away. Fernanda Rivero at guest service desk was so welcoming upon check in and check out as well as the bell staff. went above and beyond to make sure our dinner reservations were booked and even decorated room which was extra special. Fernanda Rivero was so accommodating every morning and we enjoyed spending the day relaxing at the pool. Staff were warmly welcomed with great service from everyone greeted our 3 year old by name daily and accommodated all the smoothie and snack requests. The property is beautiful and the food is amazing, but the staff is really what makes this place special. For dining we loved all many options.
