I will not be going back. The room (hotel is 3 years old) was one of the worst I have ever experienced. Room was moldy and smelled terrible. Air conditioner was not able to handle the hot humid weather. The closet doors were warped and drawers would not shut correctly. Everything is rusty and gross like the hotel is 50 years old. Elevators did not work in our building making it difficult to move around. I had to call maintenance twice, the ceiling was leaking from the room above us into our bathroom and mildew was growing on the walls and ceiling. They fixed the issues and provided our room with a dehumidifier.
Outside the rooms, resort amenities were good. Check in and out was easy. Food was above average and food selection was great. Hotel staff was responsive and friendly. Room service was good. The lazy river is amazing. The bars were good too. The pools were nice and the kids waterpark was nice. Trampoline Park and arcade were fun for the kids. The beach was mediocre and no one was really using it. They need to fix the issues with the rooms or this resort should be shut down.
I will not be going back. Very unacceptable from a Marriott affiliated hotel.

This resort was so much fun and relaxing. The adults only side is truly the adults side only. It’s very nice! They have fun entertainment at the pool throughout the day.
There is plenty to do! This is a resort where you really don’t need to book excursions, especially if you are truly wanting to relax.
This resort is a 45 minute ride from the airport but it’s worth it because the beach is much nicer with it being higher on the hotel zone. It was my friends birthday and they gave her a banner & decorated her door. It was very special.
The food is great. I saw a lot of mixed reviews about the food and I thought there were a plethora of food options, but I will say the room service food was awful. We tried something different every night and didn’t like any of it. Dinner reservations can be a hit or miss. We were able to get dinner reservations 3 out of 4 nights. However, the buffet is very nice and a lot of great options as well.
I also didn’t run into any rude staff. All staff was very pleasant and even said they loved working there.
If you don’t really drink, but need an alcoholic recommendation, I would recommend the Mango Tango. It’s a fruity frozen drink.
There was a photographer that took photos but they were a bit pricey to purchase. It was $20 per photo for a digital and physical copy.
I would definitely visit this resort again!

Under no circumstance should you waste your money coming here if you are not a star member because that’s to whom they cater. First, we arrived and our room was not ready. Instead of directing us to the correct area, staff looked at our bracelets and told us to leave all air-conditioned areas where we were waiting. Second, their features are all on their “app” which is extremely antiquated and not user friendly so if you want to dine at a prime restaurant, forget about it because the system won’t let you book until midnight for two days out. Third, we were here for a wedding and the venue was not set up on time and the equipment was not working properly. Thank goodness I brought my own or my best friend would have been devastated. Last but not least I’d like to point out customer service is horrible and it isn’t the cleanest. We usually stay at a property that is a couple miles away and have never been treated this way. WE ARE DREADING THE NEXT FEW DAYS AND WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! Never in my life have I wanted to cut a vacation short! At this point I’m just ready to go home. It’s truly disheartening given all the money we spent to be here.

Please ignore all negative reviews. This is a 5 star hotel. Very family friendly, neat and loads of fun. Talk of the beach? It’s big, neat and has a spectacular view. Their staff are also amazing and they have variety of food. I can’t even speak of how much night entertainment you can get here. Don’t think twice….Book!! I had an amazing vacation

At first glance the Hotel looks luxurious. Entrance looks great. Hotel check in was easy. The hotel itself has a lot of potential to be great but for now I would say its not worth the value that they claim it to be. This is a 3yrs old hotel and its already falling apart. It does not seem to be maintained properly. Where to begin... Our room, washroom had rust stains in the shower. Two sinks is nice but one was leaking at the bottom pipe. Our fridge was not working when we got there. Housekeeping did not do a proper job (something is always incomplete) and we always clean up after ourselves so our room is not even close to being messy (we also leave a decent amount of tip every morning). There is concierge on every building every morning to address issues you might be having so when I ask for something as small as bottled water in our room I would expect it to be there when I come back after being out the whole day, guess what?? not there.. Buffet and restaurants-- service just wasn't there... How do you serve cold porridge in the morning and after telling kitchen supervisor she came up with a lame excuse.. Restaurant can not get your order right and service again is lacking. We are not demanding at all and It pains me to write a negative review but people spends a good amount of money to go on vacation packages like this and deserve to get a bit better service. There are other parts of this resort that are not functioning like the slide in the lazy river which my kids are looking forward to but never got to enjoy it as it was close the whole time we where there. I could say more but I dont want to be too critical. As a family, we still try to enjoy what we can at the resort and did just that. Hopefully, this can help someone decide and helps in resolving some issues that this hotel needs to get to that potential level of being a great resort
