The service is absolutely amazing. We are repeat visitors, and will keep coming back. The food is great, the staff are professional and respectful, and they work hard to make sure everyone has a great experience. My kids love the flow rider, and look for Edwin or Christopher every time we go. They are both very helpful, and Edwin frequently helps the kids learn new tricks and builds everyone up. That guy needs a raise!

Stayed at Moon Palace Grand Cancun with my wife and kids Feb 11th thru the 16th. We had an awesome time, service was top notch, tons of stuff to do for the kids right in the resort and everyplace had a tended bar ready to accommodate any adult request as well. We had a great time until it was time to check out. We checked out had our bags out front waiting for the shuttle to take us to the airport. A gentleman walked up to us to pitch us an opportunity to return, he said if I purchased a certificate for 299 my same visit would be 60% off. I asked him, so my room was 1100 a night, if I buy this it would be he stopped me and said yes 555 a night next time. I said sold, I bought it on the spot there as the shuttle was waiting for us to leave, so I was rushed, no problem we had a great time, wanted to return and had no reason do doubt the sales pitch. We got home that night and the next day I went to book for the same dates next year and it was not what he said, they had up the room price to 2200 a night and were offering 60% off that which brought me back close to what I had already paid. I felt disheartened and taken advantage of as I was targeted knowing I was leaving, in a hurry but the smiles on my kids faces couldn't have been a bigger indicator. When I called to kindly ask for a refund for the cert, saying that I will return but I was not satisfied with the cert and told the story all they could say was "sorry this was non refundable" wouldn't allow a transfer to a manager just an email that may take my inquiry under advisement. It was very sad it had to end that way, because the service coupled with the attraction experience was enough to make me return, but the fact that I got swindled at the end makes me question the integrity of the business culture and will, by sheer dignity, will steer me away from returning. Update 3/7/26 They did refund me and apologized as they said "the prices changed online which they had no control over" Either way, besides that one experience still had a great time and experienced excellent service. It's cool too that it's only a 10 minute drive from the airport.

Our stay at The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the level of luxury, service, and amenities exceeded everything we expected. The resort is beautifully designed and located on a gorgeous beach, and it’s only a 15-minute ride from the airport — which makes arrival and departure incredibly easy. The variety here is insane — nine gorgeous pools, an amazing water park that’s perfect for kids and adults alike, countless restaurants and bars to explore, and an incredible range of activities. There was always something to do, whether we wanted laid-back relaxation by the pool, a beachfront cocktail in hand, or family fun in the sun. The evening shows and all day bounce zone are also incredible additions! We were there for a week and still couldn't cover everything the resort had to offer. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with amenities including a minibar, Nespresso machine, and fantastic toiletries. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent — something that really makes a difference after a long day in the sun! The restaurants truly exceeded expectations. Our favorites were Habibi, Jade, and the buffet — which was exceptional every single time. The quality and variety of food were outstanding, and we never had to wait to get in, which made dining feel easy and stress-free. The cafe in the lobby was a huge hit with us every morning and evening. What truly made the trip special, though, was the staff. Every single team member we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely eager to make sure we were having the best time possible. They always greeted us with a smile and couldn’t do enough to help. I noticed that every time I would thank someone, they would only ever say, “It’s my pleasure.” They work incredibly hard and are the most hospitable staff we have ever encountered in our travels. One evening, my daughter became sick, and the way the staff responded truly showed the heart of this resort. They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed — checking in on us, helping arrange what was required, and showing such genuine care and compassion. In a stressful moment as a parent, that level of attentiveness meant everything. The beach and outdoor spaces were stunning — soft sand, comfortable loungers, and plenty of room to relax. The entertainment options and daily activities kept every day exciting and engaging for the whole family. The only small drawback was that the Chromecast connection in the room was not very reliable (I heard from others this is a persistent issue with the TVs), so I would recommend bringing your own streaming stick if that’s important to you. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better family vacation. The Grand at Moon Palace is the perfect all-inclusive escape, and we are already planning our next trip back!

We absolutely love it here! While we didn’t upgrade this time, my family and I have been Palace members since 2007. The Grande is wonderful if you have children, tons of things for them to do including a water park. If you are going as a couple, highly recommend Sun, or Le Blanc (a little pricer). Only recommendation- bring back a resort at Isla de Mujeres. It was wonderful to spend the day there. Thanks to all the awesome staff that make our vacations amazing!

Our experience at Moon Palace Grand Cancun was beyond frustrating and nowhere close to the “luxury” standard they promote. Service was painfully slow and disorganised. We waited two hours for basic towels. Two hours — for towels. That is not five-star service, that is unacceptable anywhere. On another occasion, we waited 45 minutes for shampoo, and when it finally arrived, it wasn’t even the correct item. We had to chase again. This wasn’t a one-off mistake. It became a pattern of long delays, incorrect deliveries, and zero sense of urgency. Every simple request turned into a process. Communication made everything worse. Many staff members could not speak or understand basic English, which made even the simplest requests unnecessarily complicated. We would explain clearly what we needed, only to receive the wrong items or no follow-up at all. For an international resort that welcomes guests from all over the world, this is simply not acceptable. There was no accountability. No apologies. No effort to recover the experience. You’re left feeling like you’re inconveniencing them for asking for necessities that should already be in the room. The property itself may look impressive, but service is what defines a luxury stay — and this resort fails badly in that department. For the price paid, this level of inefficiency and lack of professionalism is shocking. We would absolutely not recommend this resort and will not be returning.
