Our experience at Margaritaville Resort Orlando was extremely disappointing. We checked in Friday evening and were placed in a room with a broken bathroom door. We reported it Saturday morning and maintenance came to fix it, but once the door was fixed, all of the bathroom lights stopped working. We waited nearly two hours for help, only to be told the “master switch” had been turned off, yet all the other lights in the room worked, and even after supposedly being fixed, the bathroom lights still didn’t come on. To their credit, the front desk was kind and moved us to another room so our two cheerleaders could get ready for their performance. That night, we asked to extend our stay by one day. The front desk accommodated the request but failed to tell us we needed to stop by in the morning to get our wristbands reactivated. So, after a long day at competition, we returned to our room only to find that none of our four wristbands would open the door. After getting all the bands reset, we discovered the room’s AC wouldn’t stay on. We reported it and left to get food because the room was unbearably hot. While out, maintenance called to say they’d worked on it for over an hour and couldn’t fix it we’d need to move rooms again. So we cut our dinner short, returned to pack up, and moved to our third room. In that room, the balcony door wouldn’t close. Maintenance came again and said it would take a while to fix, so if we wanted to use the balcony, we’d need to change rooms yet again. I refused; we were done moving. I told them to come back in two hours to close the door. Then Monday morning, I requested a late checkout and was met with the rudest front desk employee I’ve encountered in a long time. I asked for a 1:00 PM checkout due to all the issues we had experienced, and he dismissively told me we could only have until noon and then literally waved me off mid-sentence. That moment was the final straw. I hadn’t planned to leave a review, but after being repeatedly inconvenienced, moved three times, and treated rudely at the end it was just too much. For the price point and brand, I expected far better. What should have been a fun, relaxing weekend turned into a frustrating mess of room changes, broken amenities, and poor communication. I cannot recommend this resort and will not be returning.

This resort is easy to get to from Daytona and we had a great time out by the pool. The location is perfect. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants. The only issue was when I needed to call down to the front desk for an issue regarding the ceiling fan I was not able to get through. Called and it rang and rang. I tried the website and no luck either. I tried the next day to go to the front desk and informed customer service about the issue. We left our room for a few hours and came back to the same problem. Finally got maintenance up to the room and according to what i was told, they no longer have ceiling fan remotes in the room. When you click the switch on the wall, it’s only synced with what the last customer had it set at. Mine was set to off. If you have any issues with the switch, let them know right away. Other than that, we were happy with the rooms and balcony was a plus.

I had high expectations for Margaritaville Orlando Resort, but unfortunately, my stay was far from relaxing or enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, the front desk agents were unhelpful and seemed annoyed by even basic questions. Their attitude set a poor tone for the rest of the trip. Room service was practically nonexistent our room was skipped entirely, and we had to visit the front desk multiple times just to request basic things like towels and toiletries. Not only is that inconvenient, but for a resort that markets itself as high-end, it's completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, discounts that were promised at booking were never applied to our account. When we brought it up, the staff gave us the runaround and ultimately didn’t fix the issue. On top of that, there was a serious lack of activities available at the resort. For the price we paid, I expected far more. It felt more like a ghost town than a vacation destination. Between the poor service, missing amenities, and billing issues, it’s hard to justify the steep cost. Definitely not worth the money, and I won’t be returning. There are far better options in the Orlando area.

Was very thrilled with my experience at the hotel. Checking in was a breeze. The location is so convenient with restaurants, shops, ice cream right across the way, walking distance. The hotel rooms were clean, the pool was awesome. We did breakfast in the restaurant and the food was fantastic! I would say my experience with kids was a great time. Would recommend this place to stay!

I would not stay there again . The manager was very rude. I had to take a cold shower because the faucet was not adjusted right. They sent someone to fix it later. The parking is not close to the room. The coffee shop was very crowded in the morning. I feel that for the price you pay for the room a good cup of coffee should be provided . They did have a Keurig on the room but the pods they supplied were terrible. Overall the highlight of our stay was the drinks at the Salty rim bar at the pool. The bartender was very friendly and makes a good margarita. Next time I would just stay on Disney property for just a little more $ and have the convenience of getting to the parks easily. This Motel was not worth the $$$
