So far, the "Universal Experience" has been a "Universal Disaster" because of the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort specifically, and we're barely on day 1. Starting with the room, we selected a double parents/kids room that was supposed to be Minion themed for the kids... they're not as advertised. Where the hotel just falls short altogether is service. Starting with room service, a 10-15 minute wait time to pick up the phone is unacceptable, that's just poor staffing. A 1-2 hour wait time for room service food delivery, is also unacceptable, also poor staffing. Having only 2 restaurants for such a big hotel with so many people, a very poor decision. Having to wait 2-3 hours to get a table in either of those restaurants is unacceptable, once again, poor staffing. It's especially worse considering one of the restaurants is only half way open (1 entire section seems closed, likely another poor staffing decision), and it's memorial day weekend. All of this gets summed up to one very bad experience so far, in which clearly bad management decisions are being made on how they allocate staff and plan ahead of busy seasons. Bottom line, don't book here until management is fired.

Dog friendly all over the resort. The garden trail was nice to explore. The hotel room was very clean. I love the texting accommodation. All of the employees we interacted with were very friendly. The only inconvenience was the design of having to go up and across on the elevators but we got used to the route. The day we left there was an awful smell all throughout the hallway, I’m guessing plumbing issues but those things do happen. To do laundry in the washer and drier were both each $4.50, which is a little steep. The property was clean and beautiful.

5 stars! This was truly one of my favorite places to stay! I loved everything about it—the rooms were super comfortable, the restaurants were delicious, and the pool was absolutely beautiful. One of the best parts was the boat ride to and from Universal Park—it was so convenient and added a really fun touch to the whole experience. The staff was friendly and everything felt smooth and easy from start to finish. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Can’t wait to come back!

What an amazing stay we've had. Loved the hotel. We've had a beautiful lagoon view room. This hotel So close to Universal Park also. Water transport takes around 5min and security checks are done at the hotel before boarding the boat. Rooms are nice and big and modern with a lot of usb sockets. AC works like a dream and it's pretty quiet. Pool is nice and big with a lot of sun lounges. We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next stay at Universal.

The hotel is nice overall. The restaurants don’t offer normal people food (I’m not fancy), so we didn’t try it. The grab and go has a nice selection of things though. The rooms is nice. The bed was good, but pillows are too soft. Clean. My largest gripe, which is the reason for a 3 and not a 4 star, the freaking parking cost. Charged a full day when you arrive in the evening, and a full day when you leave that morning. $213 for our 4 night stay to park our vehicle. All I ask is to supply some lube at the counter next time.
