The room was clean and spacious, with easy access to the parks. Loved the water taxi, a nice quick calming commute for when returning from the parks. Unfortunately I was double charged for my stay and incidentals. I had checked in on Wednesday with no issues and on Friday I was charged again for a prepaid amount I had placed months ago, the incidental fee and for the whole week stay again. Front desk stated they would negate the charges but it could take 2-3 days. I was charged again for my full stay after returning home and had to open a dispute with supporting documents. Even back and forth communication with my bank this process took over 7 days to resolve, the hotel really made no efforts outside of an apology. I had to go back and specify to have my food charges to the room be placed under my paid incidentals in order not to incurr more charges. I would have rated this hotel higher, but I definitely think they need to review their check in process for accuracy and their billing system, so this does not happen to anyone.

It had been since 2018 since we’ve been out to this hotel and we absolutely fell in love with it. We had decided that it was time to get back out to Florida and what better time than July to take a vacation. Location, staff and amenities if I could, I would give 10 stars. This hotel is basically an island paradise without having to be on an island. Thank you so much to the staff that made my wife’s birthday a smashing success. We could not be more satisfied/pleased with our experience. If you have not stayed at this hotel, you are seriously missing out. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but it is worth it. Pool area with open bar, ferry ride to city walk where an abundance of restaurants, shopping and theme parks are located. We could not be more satisfied with our stay. Don’t know when but we will definitely be back. Also, thank you for spoiling Kimberly. She absolutely loved it.

Overall had a great experience. The staff is friendly and the rooms are very clean. One thing I think they should do is make microwaves available in the resort. It is a huge resort and they charge $15 a night to have microwave in your room and should just have it in public areas for use. The water taxi makes it easier to get to the parks. Nick the supervisor is really awesome. My mother's room key was not working and he was very helpful. A great experience overall.

I'm beginning to think I have extremely high expectations of these resorts in Orlando, especially when "Universal Studios" is linked to their name. I don't quite understand how this resort can charge what they do per night, and have a faucet on the sink broken, as well as the ice machine didn't work on our floor (I don't know about the other floors). That being said, the staff definitely makes up for those few things. If it wasn't for them, I'd probably never stay here again just because I expect to get my money's worth. The staff are all amazing, kind, friendly, compassionate, etc. The location is great for getting to the parks. I also find it interesting, even though it doesn't apply to me, that they even have a floor dedicated to those that bring their pets to travel as well. So all in all, this resort isn't terrible, BUT I do feel, for the price per night, that they could do better as far as maintenance goes. Thank you, staff, for being so amazing! I can only hope you are treated as great as you treat your guests :)

This hotel is perfect as long as you are its target clientele. Which is families looking to get to Universal Studios as quickly as possible. An IT conference is scheduled here in November and my wife and I attended. So we are not exactly their targeted people. The property is spacious enough. There are plenty of short cut paths around. All of which are decorated in their theme. Nothing wrong with it at all. There are a lot of little spots to sit which attracts a lot of smokers to those areas. This is a let down. My wife has one lung so having to walk through all the cigarette smoke to get to the pool is a pain for her. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. Along with the bar staff by the pool. Great people all around. The rooms are really just your average rooms. The furniture is what you would expect at a Hilton Garden Inn. I do wish it would be a little better quality for the price point. It really makes it feel like they expect kids to destroy the place so why bother. On site food is expensive of course. If it is not enough for you then the city walk is a ten minute trip away with plenty of expensive options. Most of the places won't let you down though and some are even worth the price. We will be back again in Nov. 2025 for the dame conference. We will see how it is a year later!
