This hotel surprised me (in a good way). The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. The bottom floor did smell like dog though, so if you don’t have a dog like me, it can throw you off. We were moved to the 3rd floor which was excellent and I enjoyed the pool view. The location and the boat to universal truly is wonderful. Loved going to the parks early then returning mid day, hassle free for a nap. Lastly, the staff are SO nice and SO kind!! From the front desk to the baggage people to the pool staff, everyone was amazing!

Our family enjoyed this hotel. We were comfortable and had plenty of options for food. We enjoyed the pool. We had three 14-year olds; two (boys) were not impressed with Universal Islands of Adventure. Our daughter enjoyed it. It's better suited for younger kids. We also chose not to purchase fast passes because of the cost (doubled the price) and after a 2-hour wait for a ride my kids were done. So a good hotel experience; a poor park experience.

This was our second stay at the Loews Sapphire falls resort in Orlando. It is a beautiful hotel with a gorgeous outdoor pool area. The ease of using the ferry boats to get back and forth between the universal parks and City Walk is efficient and appreciated. The on site restaurants have very good food options and vegetarian and vegan options which we appreciated as well. The smaller cafe and convenience store, Dutch Trading company, had so many good quick options so we used it everyday for things. The service staff was quick at responding when we requested a few needed items during our stay. We really like this hotel.

Me and my wife stayed here only one night for a concert in city walk, so we didn't get to fully experience it all but this is one the nicest hotels we've ever stayed at. The entire vibe is just so relaxing, and we loved walking around the property taking in the amazing scenery. The pool is huge, so nice if you have kids with you. Taking the boat from the hotel right to city walk was pretty cool. This place checks all the boxes, it's clean, comfortable, luxurious, and all that. Our room was spotless so great job to the cleaning staff for that. Great for couples, families, solo trips, whatever. I love all the universal hotels but this one was special and we can't wait to come back and stay longer. 1000% recommend you stay here.

The resort is very nice, and you cannot beat the water taxi access to the Universal Parks. There are a lot of extra fees involved like parking and other fees. The room key gives you access to areas like the pool and the garage. We were assured that the keys would be active for the amenities and exiting the garage on our final day after check out. However they did not work for pool access or the exit the garage, resulting in a delay and long line getting out of the garage, so if you plan on checking out and enjoying the parks before you leave, you may want to move your car. The restaurant has good food but do not plan on coming in to order breakfast from the menu unless you want the buffet. Our menu orders at Amistista were met with eye rolls and very inattentive service, breakfast took nearly two hours and two our of three of us were served cold food that should have been hot after the long wait. The rooms are okay but should be better maintained for the price point. The kids splash pad was not functional and the pool area was not very clean with lots of sticky spilled messes and trash in the non functional splash pad area. There is a good water slide and small arcade but not much else for the little ones to enjoy at this resort. The family suite is convenient but otherwise would not recommend this location for family stays.
