We had a fantastic time at the hotel! We found it by chance and hoped we could have stayed longer as location, service, pool activities, exceeded our expectations. They offer fitness classes and the gym is well equipped. Walking early morning or late evening along the sea front a dream! I highly recommend this hotel and we will be back for sure. Top marks to the entertainment team (the girls) and all the staff at the reception, very friendly and great service!

Upon arrival, we had to wait exactly until 3:00 PM, as the room supposedly wasn’t ready yet at 2:55 PM. On the positive side, we were given lunch on the day of our arrival. At first, we were given a room that had a stale smell inside, and the terrace was closed with windows and smelled like mice. The same was true for another, similar room. Then we were given a third room, which had an open terrace, but after the scent of the air freshener wore off, we could smell mold coming from the panel behind the bed and a sewage smell from the ventilation. The terrace in this room faced a fence next to which there was a lot of rubbish - this was inside the hotel’s property. We then went back to the reception to ask for another room. A very kind young receptionist named Alejandro was extremely helpful with all our issues. Alejandro arranged a very nice room for us, one category higher than what we had booked, at no extra cost. He also gave us champagne and chocolates as compensation for the inconvenience. Alejandro was very kind and understanding throughout, truly had our best interests in mind, and did everything to make sure we were well taken care of. It was solely thanks to his helpfulness that we didn’t move to another hotel. It’s important to know that the all-inclusive service doesn’t include alcohol — not even water or soft drinks (except during breakfast). The hotel advertises itself as having a private beach, but the section is not separated in any way from other beach areas, and you also have to pay extra for the sunbeds. The rooftop is only available to premium guests; other guests can only use it for an additional fee of €90. The hotel isn’t necessarily adult-friendly and isn’t as modern as it appears in the photos — the furnishings are quite outdated. In the restaurant, it was hard to find a plate that was completely clean. The hotel’s location is good — right next to the promenade and the beach. The food was tasty and varied. Most of the staff were friendly, with a few exceptions. The view from our new room was very beautiful. Once again, many thanks to receptionist Alejandro for all his help! 🙂

We are here on a family stay for 7 days. The pool is to small for that amount of guests- we have to race every morning to get 2 sunbeds. People from 8 am reserve sunbeds , than we have to talk to the very nice lifeguard to take the reservations off. Staff is very good everywhere very helpfull. Location is perfect, animations perfect , Breakfast good. In my room 3109 smells very bad when the ac is on. Like mushroom on the wall. Overall the hotel max 3 stars , its a nice stay but lot to work on. My advice- buy more sunbeds or disorder the premium pool.

We visited Torremolinos for the first time and had a fantastic stay at Ocean House Costa del Sol. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Breakfast was a highlight—plenty of variety including a fresh omelette station, delicious bread, fruit, and more. Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered stunning views of the sea and port—perfect for two people. During the day, we loved relaxing at the Play Bar. It had a quieter pool area, great food and drinks, and a laid-back vibe. The DJ from 4pm created a fun and lively atmosphere without being overwhelming. All of the hotel staff were absolutely 5-star—friendly, professional, and always happy to help. They really made the experience extra special. A truly memorable stay—we’ll definitely return!

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. At best this is a 3 star hotel and not what you would expect from Meliá. We are currently at the end of a 5 day stay. The beach and breakfast are top notch but nothing else. Rooms are dated and dirty. The towels and bed linens are so old and thin. They need to be changed. The bathrooms are extremely small, unpractical and dirty. Noise is also an issue as the entertainment goes on until 11:30pm and can be heard from all the rooms. Not ideal when travelling with young children. I would not stay here again
