Our stay was amazing and the staff were very welcoming and kind. The hotel was located right across the beach and right beside the beautiful beach walk which was really nice. Our room was very nice and the balcony view was beautiful, even though we had a room on the first floor. The only downside was that the shower could have been much nicer and fresher and that the bathroom sometimes had a bit of a sewage smell. The breakfast buffe was amazing with a wide range of different breakfast foods but I would not recommend eating at the lunch buffet (which you have to pay for) since it has a lot less options of food compared to the dinner buffet. Once at the dinner buffet the fried chicken was raw inside, which I noticed after eating half the chicken… They fixed it when I informed them but they should have checked it before serving it to their visitors. The pools were really nice and clean and the wonderful lifeguard was really helpful and tried to get everyone who wanted a sunbed one. There were also many fun pool activities like aqua dancing and yoga.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience overall. The standout positive is definitely the location – it’s fantastic. You’re just a short walk from the marina and close to all the attractions of Benalmádena town, which made exploring the area really convenient and enjoyable. The pool area is also a highlight. It’s clean, well-maintained, and a great place to relax. However, one downside is the limited number of sunbeds. They do have a rule that sunbeds can’t be reserved before 10:45 AM, which is fair in theory, but it does make finding a spot tricky if you’re not down early. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. The choices were very limited, and the quality wasn’t great. It felt repetitive and lacked variety, which made dining at the hotel underwhelming compared to the great options available in town. Overall, it’s a good place to stay if you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the area rather than relying on the hotel for food and all-day lounging. If the dining and pool access issues were improved, this could be a much stronger option.

I honestly can’t praise Hotel Ocean House Costa del Sol, Affiliated by Meliá, enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. What truly stood out was how incredibly accommodating they were — it’s probably the best hotel experience I’ve ever had in terms of feeling genuinely looked after. We had specific dietary requirements and were so impressed that they provided halal food with no fuss at all. The team was incredibly hands-on, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. Every request was met with a smile and a “can-do” attitude. The hotel itself is beautiful, the atmosphere relaxed yet professional, and the service second to none. It’s rare to find a place where the staff truly make you feel at home — but this was it. I can’t thank them enough for such a memorable stay. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.

Daniel assisted us during our check in and it was top class. Can't thank him more. Room, food and the service are perfect. We were offered half board and good thing we availed it. Food were excellent and lots of choices. I would probably comment on the bracelet that they use. Maybe if they can use a more sustainable material or probably a digital bar code on their app that would be better. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will probably come back again.

I’m just home from a fabulous week with my 18 month old baby Luca and extended family The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. I emailed the hotel prior to arriving requesting a cot for baby and when we arrived the cot was already set up in room for us which I was very pleased about. Room had a mini fridge which was perfect for milk snacks and water for baby . There are plenty of shops and restaurants opposite the hotel entrance , all the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable especially Camilla at the pool bar fantastic service always with a smile never stopped working hard all day. Will certainly be coming back again Hope to see you all soon
