The Good: Hotel staff were all polite and friendly, Hotel was clean and tidy, Food was great, and reasonable price, Great views, Taxi rank outside, Two supermarkets close by, Bus stop outside, Daily room service, Pools good. The Average: Rooms are small, we had a sea view room. Two adults, two 12yr kids. The limited time we spent in the room we felt on top of each other. These rooms are for two adults and one young child max I'd say. Internal supermarket a tad expensive, but you expect that for the convenience. Example can of Fanta lemon €1.60 in hotel supermarket, €0.80 in external supermarkets across road. The Bad: WiFi: Reception, is very limited in lots of places. We were lucky enough to have good reception in room but were constantly disconnected. We even paid for "premium WiFi" for €3 per day, this made no difference in terms of speed and we were still constantly disconnected, so a waste of money. Noise: We were on floor 4, so away from the panorama bar on floor 6 however, other customers were main issues, slamming doors at 2am, shouting, moving furniture etc can all be heard from above and around you on the same floor. Sound insulation is none existent. Hotel hosted 3 weddings in our 1 week stay, we are all for people having a good time but again it's a family hotel so being woke up by lots of noise up until 2am while bar is open, is not great experience.

Sunset Beach Club is great for families — right by the beach, big pools, and helpful staff. Rooms are decent with kitchenettes, but some feel a bit old. It gets crowded in summer, and the food is just average. Good value if you want a lively beach holiday.

This is a big hotel and no doubt gets very busy during peak season; check in problems should be solved by summer 2026. Rooms kept incredibly clean and breakfast buffet was excellent. Not really sunset, more sunrise plus beach is over to the right not at the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel in Benalmádena from December 28th to January 2nd, in a garden-view room (room 119), specifically to celebrate New Year with our children, and I can honestly say it was a wonderful decision. Although we live in Málaga, we chose this hotel because we wanted a stress-free New Year celebration with kids, good food, music, and no need to drive anywhere at night. From the moment we arrived, everything started well. The room was clean, comfortable, and well prepared. Throughout our stay, the housekeeping team was excellent. They came every day, were always polite, and consistently checked if we needed anything even on days when we didn’t request cleaning. That kind of attention really makes a difference. The staff overall deserve special praise. Everyone was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. I would especially like to mention Alex, the F&B Manager, and the event coordinator, who were absolutely wonderful. We were a bit unsure about where we wanted to sit for the New Year’s Eve celebration and exchanged several emails beforehand. Every message was answered quickly and clearly. Upon arrival, Alex and the events team personally explained everything—where our table would be, how the evening would go and made sure we felt comfortable and well informed. The head of housekeeping was also always approachable and helpful. Another big highlight for us was the kids club, which was fantastic. Our children are 5 and 10 years old, and they absolutely loved it. The staff clearly love what they do, and it shows. There were plenty of activities, themed days, and entertainment. We could leave our kids there knowing they were happy and well cared for, which allowed us to truly relax. The hotel also has a gym, sauna, and indoor swimming pool (available for an extra fee, which we didn’t mind at all). While some guests were brave enough to swim outside in December, it was too cold for us, so the indoor pool was perfect for our family. There is also a spa, salon, and massage services, which add to the overall experience. Now, about New Year’s Eve - it was simply excellent. Everything the hotel promised, they delivered. On the morning of December 31st, we saw our names and room number displayed, so we knew exactly where we would be seated in the evening. The organization was flawless. The celebration started at 9:00 PM with a welcome drink. We entered a beautifully decorated hall full of Christmas charm-elegant white tablecloths with gold details, festive decorations, and large “2026” balloons. Every guest received a New Year party bag with festive hats, accessories, and decorations -exactly the little touches that make the night special. There was a large screen for the countdown so everyone could celebrate together. The atmosphere was joyful yet classy. The food was delicious, well-timed, and served smoothly. Drinks were excellent, and the service was fast and attentive. Two hosts kept the night lively with games, stories, jokes, and contests—we laughed a lot. Then the DJ started, the music was great, and people danced and truly enjoyed themselves. It felt like a real celebration - not rushed, not chaotic-just well planned and warm. We stayed until around 12:30 AM, which was perfect for us since the kids were tired. The best part was that we simply went back to our room - no driving, no stress. The next morning was relaxed and pleasant, just as a holiday should be. Throughout the five days, not once did anyone irritate us, and that says a lot. Every day there were decorations, activities, themed characters, and even Santa Claus, creating a magical atmosphere for children. You can really feel that the hotel team puts a lot of effort into details, organization, and teamwork. The staff clearly support one another, and that positive energy reaches the guests. The hotel is also perfectly located, with a lovely beach promenade nearby, ideal for long walks. I absolutely recommend this hotel, especially for families. We are already thinking about returning next New Year .

The hotel is in great location, beachfront. Nice reception staff, helpful In every matter. Pools are great, no hassle getting sunbeds. The Tikki bar is great 👍, lovely cocktails 🍸 and people who serving residents. WiFi is non existent, rooms outdated, no sound isolation, lifts are slow, onsite supermarket very expensive.
