Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista - Disney Springs Area

We had an excellent stay at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista Resort. While this hotel dates back to the early 80s, and the outside reflects that, the inside has had a fresh renovation and is up-to-date, warm, and beautiful all around. Rooms are updated, with hints of traditional colors and textures with a modern, luxurious lobby and common spaces. The king beds are traditional king size, and not the more common California king. The hotel is perfectly located right next to the Bridge walkway that drops you directly into downtown Disney. Although breakfast is not included, the breakfast buffet was exceptional. Service was excellent. We would highly recommend this resort and definitely return.

Extremely disappointing for a Hilton property. First, as Hilton Honors members we booked through their site for our anniversary weekend. We arrived at 720pm on Friday night to be told they "overbooked" so the King Bed room we requested is no longer available. We should have gotten there earlier to guarantee. What? Is this a new practice? Asked if they could check for next day if something would be available, only to be told multiple times over the weekend if we want to check back. Why is that my responsibility, I booked the room as a king, this isn't my last minute request. So during what is supposed to be a relaxing weekend I have to worry about checking for a room I originally requested. The rooms are outdated, a sink in the small bathroom, no soap or trash can. Step out of the bathroom to a sink with soap. Our room when we arrived was set to 68 degrees, however it was not. The hallway was cooler than our room. We requested additional towels/toliet paper on Saturday and waited 40 minutes to receive them, mind you it was about 11:00pm. A couple of people said they would follow up about our request for a king bed, which they did not. The reason I gave a 2 for service was the guys at Valet. I had never experienced such great service from Valet. They were swift on their feet but so kind, friendly, and engaging every time. Truly great service!! Location of course is in the heart of Disney Springs which was great. Not far from other attractions. However, after a long day in the FL heat where you rest your head is important and you want to be comfortable, this wasn't it. Overall would not recommend. Hilton, your brand requires a higher level of quality/service when you are charging $260/night and you did not meet it at all this trip, with the exception of your Valet team.

Just don’t bother staying here. If you’re trying to get to Disney parks, just spend a little more money for the convenience and the magic of those hotels. This property is dirty, outdated, inconvenient and the staff is not happy or helpful. We had 2 roaches in our room as well as ants and other bugs before we even brought any food in. The walls are dirty, the sills and vanities are dusty, every single pipe fixture leaked. Oh and definitely don’t have anything delivered here (even Amazon)! They’ll charge you $10 for receiving the package and it’ll be a surprise on your bill. This was the last time I’ll stay at this property. The busses that they use for the park transportation are slow and untimely. Depending where you’re going, it could take up to 40 minutes to get to the park! It’s just insane.

This is a great hotel located in a very clean & safe area of Lake Buena vista and is ideal for exploring the Disney parks. After a long flight the Check-in process was seamless and we were very well looked after by Jena who upgraded us to a spacious room with complimentary breakfast for our family of 5, which came with views over the pool area & Disney Springs. Our stay was during the summer months last year, so we were able to also enjoy the evening laser drone show. The shuttle service was always on time and a great benefit to have for getting 'to and from' the parks. The hotel did host a beauty pageant during our stay, but we didn't feel like it was any disruption as the hotel was large enough to accomodate, and it just added to the experience. The game changer was it's close proximity and walking distance to Disney Springs, with it's variety of restaurants, shops and entertainment.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I do not recommend staying at this hotel for a family vacation. I spent over a thousand dollars for a three-day stay, and the room lacked air conditioning, which made the experience very unpleasant. Additionally, the front desk staff were neither helpful nor accommodating, and rude over the phone when I requested assistance. If you're looking for a pleasant and stress-free vacation, I suggest considering alternative accommodations with more attentive management and better customer service.
