I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. From the first moment service was horrendous. We arrived to the Hideaway lobby, a separate makeshift building separate from the rest of the hotel. The staff had to pull out a folding table to check in our party and was completely ill equipped to handle more than a single party during check in. The woman who managed the buffet in the lobby was rude and angry that I even ask for a coffee from the machine, after a 2 hour ride from the airport. The rooms were generally OK but were very damp and smelled strongly of mildew the entire trip. The beach and the grounds were pretty and well kept (other than the lounge chairs and towels which were falling apart and dirty). The food and service were the worst part. Almost every meal was completely inedible. If you like drinking, this is fine as most of the hotel guests only could care to sit at the bar all day and night long. Some of the staff was friendly - some were incredibly rude and off putting, but overall everyone acted as though they were being inconvenienced by any simple request. I am angry that I paid the amount of money I did to stay here.

I recently stayed at Hideaway at Royalton Saint Lucia, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort - Adults Only, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. I left feeling more frustrated than relaxed, which is the opposite of what a vacation should feel like. One of the most concerning issues was the overall lack of friendliness and hospitality from the staff. Approximately 75% of the staff we encountered were not welcoming. Basic greetings were often ignored — we regularly had to initiate a "hello" ourselves, including in the mornings on our way to breakfast. A particularly disappointing moment occurred at one of the resort bars. Despite the bartender making eye contact with us several times, we sat for over 40 minutes without being acknowledged or greeted. This lack of attentiveness and hospitality made us feel unwelcome and invisible. While 25% of the staff were kind and professional — and we appreciate those few who were courteous — the general atmosphere was not warm or inviting. Combined with less-than-ideal weather, the staff's demeanor made the entire trip feel underwhelming and far from the tropical escape we had hoped for. We chose your resort expecting a high level of service and hospitality consistent with the Autograph Collection name, and unfortunately, this standard was not upheld during our visit.

I stayed at the Hideaway Royalton All-Inclusive Adults Only resort in Saint Lucia to celebrate my birthday this May. Unfortunately, my experience was horrible. First of all, it's not truly an adults-only resort. The family resort and the adults-only section are both on the same property. The Hideaway area is on one side, while the Royalton Family section is on the other. Because of this, you’ll see kids in the restaurants, at the nighttime entertainment stage, and basically everywhere. The food was terrible, and the service was very slow. The resort is 2 hours from the airport. However, the worst part of my stay was the bed bugs. I have bite marks all over my body. Upon checking out, the desk clerk informed me that the manager would reach out to me regarding my complaint, but I have yet to receive a call. When I contacted the resort directly, I was told that since I had already checked out, it was no longer their issue, and I should send an email to hopefully receive a response. I highly advise against booking with them.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the warm welcome by the staff to the breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, everything exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, comfortable, and always spotless. Breakfast featured fresh local products, and the restaurant had delicious options for every taste. The infinity pools, direct beach access, and organized excursions made each day special. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it!

My husband and I stayed at the Hideaway in St Lucia a few weeks ago for our honeymoon. The people working at the location are absolutely phenomenal and we had a great time. Travis, with the Vibe Team, was absolutely amazing and made the experience so much fun! Additionally, Anastasia, at the Aquarius Bar, was the sweetest and made delicious drinks, even if you didnt know exactly what you were wanting and just gave her an idea. All that being said, our room was not very clean and not in the best condition. The bathroom had parts of the wall falling off and the door was a barndoor style with at least a 2 inch gap, providing little pric Our room was on the first floor with a swim out. However, the swim out is not connected to the main pool or any swim up bars, like at most other all inclusive, so we ended up not using it, since we would just be sharing the narrow pool with 4 other rooms. Second, the rooms service took about 35 minutes to an hour and the food was really not great (speaking only room service wise because the restaurants we were able to get into were amazing). The one item that was absolutely amazing was the jalapeno poppers, but after ordering once, they did not have any more the rest of our stay. Third, I understand we were on a tropical island and have seen my share of roaches since I lived in the south, however, the door to our suite had a large gap and no one wants to be woken up in the middle of the night by their husband telling them to get out of bed because something was crawling in the bed. It turned out to be one of the largest roaches I have ever seen and, despite him killing and flushing this roach, there was another live one in our room the next morning. Finally, the restaurants are very hard to make reservations at. After a few days of trying to get into the steakhouse for a dinner reservation, we succeeded. We were supposed to eat there on our last day, but as we are getting ready, my husband looked at the app to confirm our dinner time and they had canceled the reservation and closed the restaurant for the night, without any kind of notification to us. The hideaway is not a bad place to stay, there were just quite a few things that were not pleasant enough to give the resort higher than a 3.
