We just returned from this resort. It was amazing. We did diving on two mornings and found the dive operations and staff to be so professional - so well done. Special shout out to Natalia at the dive centre - she provided private instruction for us and was so incredible - safe, warm, going above and beyond to do her job. She is an amazing staff member on the sandals team. As a result of her, our diving skills improved tremendously as did our confidence and we had fun! The room was also amazing in every way as were the grounds. Musical entertainment also absolutely top notch. Only suggestions for improvement - wait staff in restaurants often forgot orders and sometimes there were no plates or cutlery; the desserts were subpar - I have a sweet tooth and couldn’t find even one I loved! - please add a dessert/sundae place like Turks beaches and a real coffee bar - the machine auto cappuccino is not great. Also it is a drag how long people can hold chairs by the pool with a towel in them even though they don’t show up all day. All in all though a wonderful holiday.

Average/below average vacation experience at best for sandals Grande St Lucia for the cost compared to cruises or other beach vacation experiences. Our first and last sandals vacation… The ride from the airport is at best is 1.5 hours with winding roads and nauseating. We paid for a luxury oceanview and put in the furthest room from the main area and most of our ocean view was blocked by fence, trees and the local traffic driving by. The room was dirty and furniture was aged. Most of the hotel staff and bar staff was friendly, but the restaurants that didn’t require reservations seemed understaffed and food service overall was slow. We did not like the regimented times for food availability and how some of the bars closed early. These should be the items most available for an all inclusive. All of the guests fought for the limited seating near the main pool because that is where the two main bars were located. It would have been nice to have another bar near the other large pools. The food at the Indian and hibachi restaurants which required reservations were some of the few highlights. The hotel put on a few activities in the main pool area but was limited and nothing exceptional when compared to a cruise that has great shows and multiple activities going on simultaneously at multiple locations. Overall we were underwhelmed because we did not experience anything unique to sandals or St Lucia. We chose not to spend more money on excursions either didn’t see value or they required multiple hours in transportation time that did not sound pleasurable. This review is to help set expectations for experience and value. I know I can get a better experience and value elsewhere.

Absolutely a beautiful resort. Property is very well maintained and always clean at all times. There are 12 different restaurants..no matter which one you choose from you can’t go wrong…food is amazing! Staff go above and beyond. My husband and I went on our delayed honeymoon at this resort and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!! From the minute we walked into the resort, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was amazing, a walk down from the beach (which was wonderful). We loved how there were quiet sections and more lively sections of the resort depending on how you felt that day. We were so sad to leave! We are hoping to get back there someday! 10/10 recommend.

The resort was beautiful and the staff exceptional. Eddie who worked keeping the pools clean was especially helpful and pleasant. Janelle, who gave me a facial at the spa, made me feel so relaxed and I enjoyed our friendly conversations. The food was fantastic and every meal was delicious. The entertainment was also first class. This resort has become one of my favorites!
