We stayed at Anse Chastanet for four nights during our honeymoon and overall had a very memorable experience. We originally booked a Superior Deluxe room, but to our surprise, we were upgraded all the way to one of the premium rooms, which completely elevated our stay. The room was absolutely stunning… spacious, beautifully designed, open-air, and with breathtaking views of both the Pitons and the ocean. Waking up to that view every day was unforgettable. The property itself is beautiful, and the beach experience was a highlight for us. We especially loved the evenings, relaxing in the hammock by the beach under the stars became one of our favorite parts of the trip. The resort also included a number of activities, and the scuba team was professional and accommodating, especially when they refunded part of my booking after I couldn’t continue. There were also several thoughtful honeymoon touches we appreciated, including fruit, banana bread, chocolates, reusable water bottles, a tote bag, and other welcome amenities. That said, there were a few downsides. Food quality at dinner was generally very good, but it is expensive, and breakfast was underwhelming for the price. We also booked a private dinner, which was set up beautifully, but it felt more semi-private than truly private, and the final bill was much higher than expected once setup fees, taxes, and service charges were added. Most importantly, while the staff were always polite and treated us well, there was a noticeable difference in energy compared to other places we stayed. At times, the service felt more formal than heartfelt, and it gave us the impression that the staff may not be as supported or valued as they should be. Overall, Anse Chastanet gave us some truly unforgettable honeymoon memories, especially because of the incredible setting and room upgrade. I’d rate it 4/5, worth experiencing for the views and beach atmosphere, but with some room for improvement in value and overall guest experience.

We have spent 2 full days at this beach at this resort and I would like to tell other visitors about my experience that might make you like or dislike the hotel more. We arrived by private boat to snorkel here, we paid a fairly good price ( over $125 US) to rent 4 beach loungers and palapa’s for shade and ate at 2 of their restaurants. The beach at Mamin is amazing, the food quality good and the beach chairs for hotel guests amazing. That said they clearly treat visitors to “their” area as non hotel guests as second class visitors. Beach chairs are limited, not as nice and in a different area but the cost is pretty high. You can dine with them and it is not inexpensive but they make you wait, on our case 90 minutes to get a table and then seriously over 60 minutes to get a sandwich as they hotel guests sat down quickly, and were served their food long before we were even though we ordered first. I will note at 2:00 in the afternoon the restaurants were almost empty. The beauty of St.Lucia is that all beach access is available to everyone yet at this hotel, they really treat people who are not part of the hotel as the enemy and they will serve you, but they make it extremely expensive and very hard to get any service. It left a bad taste with me. We paid quite a large amount of money to take a boat over to be able to enjoy this beautiful beach that lived up to all expectations and we were willing to pay for all of the services, but you really got the feeling they didn’t want you there. Now if you’re staying at the hotel, you probably think this is great and it probably is but if you want to visit the hotel, it’s not ideal.

From the start, we were welcomed with warm open arms by the staff. The kindness and genuine happiness of each member is incredible to witness and be a part of. We were excited about our vacation but had no idea just how lovely it would be. We stayed in 7E with a view of the pitons and the ocean and the view is indescribably stunning. We feel so lucky to have been able to stay there. We’ve never seen stars so vivid and laying out every night in the open space beneath them was magic. Every time of day, rain or shine, is beautiful. The local snorkeling was vibrant and all the fans and beautiful coral were gorgeous. While this is not the best snorkeling you’ll ever do, it’s still a great experience every time you go out. We saw lots of fish, several turtles, eels, lobster and other cool creatures. The beach space is cozy and private and we were so comfortable and content each day. The excursions were great and it was so awesome to see more of the island. We were surprised most by how good the food was. We did the MAP meal plan because we’ll have a wine or beer here and there but aren’t big drinkers. Every meal was handcrafted by such talented chefs with a wonderful selection each night. My husband enjoyed the lionfish dinner special and the chef was so kind to accommodate me who does not eat seafood, with a delightful beachside meal. The fresh fruit at breakfast every day was very yummy. We could not imagine a better place to spend our 2nd wedding anniversary and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything

The Best Vacation We've Ever Taken My wife and I just returned from Anse Chastanet after celebrating our 10-year wedding anniversary, and I can honestly say it was one of the best vacations of our lives. Before booking, I spent countless hours researching resorts throughout the Caribbean. I read reviews, watched videos, compared destinations, studied room options, dining experiences, excursions, and service levels. I wanted this trip to be perfect, and after all that research, I chose Anse Chastanet. Somehow, the actual experience exceeded every expectation we had. The property itself is breathtaking. The views are incredible, the beaches are beautiful, the food was consistently outstanding, and the entire resort feels like it was designed to help you slow down and appreciate where you are. Every meal felt special, and every part of the resort blends naturally into the beauty of Saint Lucia. What truly sets Anse Chastanet apart, however, is the people. The staff were some of the kindest, warmest, and most genuine people we have ever met while traveling. Every interaction felt sincere. We never felt like just guests staying at a resort—we felt welcomed. I especially want to recognize Jonathan and Roger Moffat. Both made a lasting impression on us and helped make our anniversary celebration even more memorable. Their professionalism, hospitality, and genuine care for guests reflect everything that makes Anse Chastanet such a special place. My wife also had the hot stone massage during our stay and described it as the best massage of her life. The spa experience was exceptional and became one of the highlights of our trip. Since returning home, I have already recommended Anse Chastanet to multiple friends and family members. Several are now actively considering a visit after hearing about our experience. Thank you to the Troubetzkoy family, Jonathan, Roger Moffat, and the entire Anse Chastanet team for creating such an unforgettable experience. We will absolutely be back.

We went for the beach only, easy parking and we went to the non-hotel side of the beach where you could rent chairs for $60 with an umbrella. But if you go after 12 o’clock, they don’t check you can just basically sit down. once we paid nobody else did so they all got them for free. They only care about the dive shop business. Exceptional lunch, snorkeling and beach.
