We stayed at the Grand Oasis Palm from Wednesday to Saturday, and unfortunately the experience fell far short of expectations. From the outside, the resort looks impressive and gives the impression of something grand, but once inside it quickly feels old, dated, and in need of a serious renovation. The food was below average overall. The buffet offered very limited variety, with no noticeable changes to the menu during our stay. Given how busy the resort was, buffet lines were consistently long, and getting reservations at any of the restaurants was nearly impossible unless you booked two to three days in advance. Service was another major disappointment. The waitstaff seemed disengaged and uninterested, with very little attentiveness. At the bars, there always seemed to be an issue—missing ingredients, unavailable alcohol, or broken equipment like blenders—which made even getting a simple drink frustrating. We attempted to upgrade our room based on the photos provided, expecting a family suite. Instead, we were given two connected rooms with a cot placed in the second room, which was not what was advertised or implied. Amenities throughout the resort were subpar, and important details were often withheld until the last minute. One example was when we booked a massage and planned to drop our kids off at the Kids Club. We were told one time, arrived accordingly, and then were made to wait another 15 minutes before being allowed in. At that point, we were also told—without prior notice—that charges could not be applied to the room and that payment had to be made in cash. Seating around the resort was extremely limited. Multiple guests mentioned waking up as early as 4–5 AM just to secure chairs for later in the day, which speaks volumes about how overcrowded the property is during peak season. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Between the outdated facilities, poor food quality, lack of organization, and inattentive service, this is not a resort we would return to or recommend.

Our stay at Oasis Palm – All Inclusive (Dec 24–29, 2025) was disappointing and not worth the price. The arrival and check-in process was extremely disorganized. Entry to the property was confusing, and check-in was split into two separate lines—one for registration and another for room key activation—each taking nearly an hour. There was no welcome drink, water, seating, or clear guidance, and staff were not helpful or comfortable communicating in English. After a long journey, the lack of support and poor guest handling was frustrating. The room was a decent size but very basic, with missing amenities on day one, no bathroom lock, no shower door, a non-functional locker, and foul-smelling bathroom water. Food service was another major issue: despite advertising multiple restaurants, reservations were only in person with 1–2 hour waits, leaving guests dependent on one crowded buffet with repetitive food and very limited vegetarian options. We had to eat outside the resort on multiple days. Access to drinking water was difficult, bar options were limited with long queues, and beach chairs were insufficient and poorly managed. Overall, the resort does not deliver a true all-inclusive experience and does not justify the cost. I would not recommend this property.

I stayed at this hotel for five days in December, and I really enjoyed it. It had free snacks like hot dogs, hamburgers, and fries, and an arcade with ice cream, TVs, and arcade games. The hotel is very nice. My only advice is that if you want stronger waves or warmer water, I recommend going to Playa de Delfines.It's absolutely beautiful, and the sea there is fantastic. I'd give this hotel an eight out of ten. The prices are very reasonable for the area, and the staff is excellent. What's also great is that it has restaurants in the hotel where everything is included in the price .I left very satisfied with my experience.

Our family’s first stay at Grand Oasis Palm in Cancún was outstanding and easily the best all‑inclusive experience we have had so far. Exceptional Service: From the moment we arrived, the staff were extraordinarily kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. We traveled with a 1‑year‑old and often asked the café for warm milk several times a day; even though warm milk was not on the menu, they always prepared it with a smile and never made us feel like it was a burden. The housekeeping team worked incredibly hard, cleaning our room thoroughly every day and keeping all the shared facilities spotless, at a level of service we have never experienced in the United States. Facilities and Activities: The resort offers a beautiful beach with calm water that is perfect for small children, along with multiple pools and a fun kids’ area. There are many indoor and outdoor activities, nightly shows, and special events, so there is always something to do for every age. We especially appreciated having so many different restaurants and a café included in the all‑inclusive package, which made meals easy and enjoyable throughout the day. Not perfect, but still amazing! Coming from the US, some travelers might expect conveniences like a washer and dryer, and the property itself is not ultra‑luxury or brand‑new. However, the warmth, effort, and work ethic of the staff more than make up for these details, and overall the value and experience were far better than anything similar we have used in the US. First impression of Mexico! This was our first visit to Mexico, and it completely changed our impression of the country and its people. In general, everyone we met was polite, kind, and warm, with a clear love for music, dancing, and making sure visitors are having a good time. It is unfortunate that traditional media often focuses on negative stories, because the everyday hospitality and humanity we experienced in Cancún truly deserve much more recognition. Overall experience: For families looking for an all‑inclusive vacation with great service, a safe, swimmable beach, lots of food options, and constant entertainment, Grand Oasis Palm is an excellent choice. We left with wonderful memories and a new appreciation for Mexican hospitality, and we would happily return and recommend this resort to other families.

My honest review sofar we are currently 3 days into our 7 day stay. We were not offered any kind of " upgrade" We have done the 2hr not 1.5hr time share pitch, but they were not pushing at the end, as others have stated, they took no for a answer and still offered what they promised. Line ups for restaurants are not as bad as people have described in other reviews but no reservation are required as the system has changed, so that could be why. All the staff have been very polite with us. This was our first time to mexico. Based on our trip so far I would recommend it and may have to return.
