I was concerned after booking when reading recent reviews, had no bad experience at all. Stayed from Feb 19-26, 2026 and had a wonderful stay. Room was cleaned regularly, food was great, buffets had plenty to offer(getting in quick is all about timing) I suggest going shortly after opening between 6-7pm for supper. Property was cleaned every morning, beach raked of seaweed and debris. We had a standard room with 2 fairly comfy double beds. Beach was busy with families but expected. Some shared amenities with The Sen's Wich was fantastic. Nightly free shows in the Grand Ballroom which were fantastic and free. You have to go in the Pirate Ship, the show and view of the Turquoise water is great, sea turtles, fish, and more. I would book again and recommend. Only suggestions are to try and book a spot early in Oasis App for a la cart restauranta and bring your own travel cup for drinks, they're always running out of drink cups for alcohol. Bring plenty of American dollar bills for tips, some hard working and fantastic staff.

I stayed at this hotel in Feb 2026 as all inclusive. It was a pre birthday celebration and I’m so glad I did not stay here on my birthday. The hotel is meant to be 4 star other than the facilities and location there isn’t anything 4 star about this. The rooms were comfortable and had most of the basic amenities (no kettle!). The hotel has a great choice of pools and the location is excellent - right by the beach. It is a family orientated hotel so not suitable for couples or adults only. The service is extremely poor, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for vegetarians. - expect to wait over 30-40 mins to be seated for dinner unless you get there at opening time - requesting hot water at breakfast took an extra 20 mins after asking 3 different waiters - the staff do not speak English so Google Translate will be very useful - we asked for vegetarian food on day one and didn’t receive a vegetarian meal until day 4 (our last day) we asked every evening for a vegetarian option and didn’t receive anything, there are some choices such as salad and rice for vegetarians but not a main dish or meal - on one of the days when requesting vegetarian options the chef was very rude - the all inclusive doesn’t include all restaurants around the hotel (there are different levels of all inclusive we were on the mid range which included certain restaurants only) - my friend requested a special birthday package pre-arrival via email and no one got back to her, then asked again on arrival and they mentioned they can arrange a package and no action had been taken for this which meant no pre-birthday celebration - the shower and toilet in the room is extremely small and I’m a petite person. Overall the hotel has some good things about it but what’s most important for me when on holiday is the service and this is where the hotel falls short. Would not recommend for vegetarians as an all inclusive package.

The positive parts: the beach was beautiful, there were kids’ areas, the rooms were more or less comfortable, and the evening shows were really nice — that was probably the best part of our stay. However, this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, but with this level of service it honestly feels more like 2 stars. The food was very repetitive every day and often cold. In the mornings, no one made coffee or tea for you — you had to stand in long lines yourself. We were never able to visit the restaurants that required reservations because their online booking system didn’t work properly. It always showed available times, but it was impossible to actually book anything. The weather wasn’t great, so most people stayed inside eating, which caused huge lines — about 30 minutes just to enter a restaurant. When you finally got in, sometimes the tables weren’t ready, and other times staff simply ignored you when you needed something. The waiters were clearly overwhelmed — there were far too few of them for the number of guests. During the last days of our stay, my child got sick, and I urgently needed water for drinking and making tea. Water was not delivered to our room. At the coffee station, the staff looked very unhappy because there were long lines there too. My husband waited 30 minutes just to get tea, and they told him there was no water. At that point I was extremely upset — he had to go to a store to buy water because the hotel couldn’t provide it. My recommendation to this hotel: either hire more staff so your guests feel comfortable and leave good reviews, or stop overbooking the hotel. Even outside, there was nowhere to sit.

Our family’s first stay at Grand Oasis Palm in Cancún was outstanding and easily the best all‑inclusive experience we have had so far. Exceptional Service: From the moment we arrived, the staff were extraordinarily kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. We traveled with a 1‑year‑old and often asked the café for warm milk several times a day; even though warm milk was not on the menu, they always prepared it with a smile and never made us feel like it was a burden. The housekeeping team worked incredibly hard, cleaning our room thoroughly every day and keeping all the shared facilities spotless, at a level of service we have never experienced in the United States. Facilities and Activities: The resort offers a beautiful beach with calm water that is perfect for small children, along with multiple pools and a fun kids’ area. There are many indoor and outdoor activities, nightly shows, and special events, so there is always something to do for every age. We especially appreciated having so many different restaurants and a café included in the all‑inclusive package, which made meals easy and enjoyable throughout the day. Not perfect, but still amazing! Coming from the US, some travelers might expect conveniences like a washer and dryer, and the property itself is not ultra‑luxury or brand‑new. However, the warmth, effort, and work ethic of the staff more than make up for these details, and overall the value and experience were far better than anything similar we have used in the US. First impression of Mexico! This was our first visit to Mexico, and it completely changed our impression of the country and its people. In general, everyone we met was polite, kind, and warm, with a clear love for music, dancing, and making sure visitors are having a good time. It is unfortunate that traditional media often focuses on negative stories, because the everyday hospitality and humanity we experienced in Cancún truly deserve much more recognition. Overall experience: For families looking for an all‑inclusive vacation with great service, a safe, swimmable beach, lots of food options, and constant entertainment, Grand Oasis Palm is an excellent choice. We left with wonderful memories and a new appreciation for Mexican hospitality, and we would happily return and recommend this resort to other families.

DONT DO IT!!! I read the reviews before we came so I thought I was prepared. When people say there is a line for everything they’re not even kidding! Even the bathrooms always had a line. There’s nowhere near enough loungers for the people in the hotel. The girl at the coffee shops makes iced coffees with no espresso. Don’t waste your time standing in that line for some blended milk With whipped cream. The bartender that works the sports bar is just plain rude. He likes to make people form a line while he is rearranging his Coca-Cola and chitchatting with other waiters. All while you’re standing 3 feet in front of his face and he doesn’t even acknowledge you . Why not just throw out a few drinks before you do that? Then the bartender out by the pool wants everyone to form a line a certain way. We sat down at the bar and once the line of dissipated, I asked for drinks, but he insisted that we get up from the bar and come over to the other side for him to make us our drinks. So you can’t sit at a bar and receive a drink. We tried to go to breakfast at 9:00 and both restaurants had a long wait. When we finally got in the buffet consisted of things like cold pancakes and crêpes with a topping station that had been wiped out long ago. Most of the food was out, mind you it’s 930 and the buffet goes till 1130. If you wanted an omelette or eggs, you had to wait in a 30 minute line. The hamburgers by the pool are like gray rubber, and the hotdogs are so soggy almost like pâté. The pizza restaurant by the pool makes pizzas that are undercooked So don’t waste your time with that. The rooms have no balconies, just big sliding windows with no screens. Probably why they are all damp and smelly. And then the kids club I never figured it out. They show these blue water slides on their website so I took the kids there to use those. The lady told me that they were closed. There were two gentlemen working on the slides and once they got them running and they told my kids they could use them. Then the kids club lady came out and told me they couldn’t use them and if they continued to use them, we were going to get kicked off the resort. She said they opened at 12. So we came back at 12 and then she told me I had to leave the kids there alone and order for them to use the slides. I told her I wasn’t comfortable with that and she eventually acquiesced to let me stay. There were about six kids using the slides with two of the kids club people supervising. My kids used the slides with them for about 10 minutes and then they announced they were closed. Apparently these blue slides are only open from 12 to 1230 every day, And not for family, fun, only for the kids alone. So don’t look at all the slides and waterpark part of the kids park and think that that’s where you’re gonna be having any family fun. Food: Nasty and inedible Drinks: (If you can get one) 💯 Watered down and they use the most Artificial tasting mixers. Bartenders: only 3 Bartenders for the entire resort all day long. The guy by the kids pool was very nice. But the main pool bartender and the sports bar bartender were unbelievably rude. Bartending and working with people is clearly not their calling. Bottom line: Please save your money and book elsewhere!! Don’t ruin your hard earned holiday!!!
