10/10 absolutely amazing The customer service is incredible. Every little thing we needed was taken care of. The rooms were very clean and very nice. Again I cannot rave about the service enough. They were kind and helpful The hair dryer in our room went on the fritz, I mentioned it to the front desk and it was replaced within minutes. The food is amazing, the views are amazing. Every day there is very cool entertainment at the pool. From acrobatics to live music Could not have had a better experience We are very happy to have picked this place for our honeymoon

Disappointing Experience at Grand Oasis Hotel While the resort itself is beautiful, with a fantastic beach and pool area, my stay at the Grand Oasis Hotel was disappointing due to several issues with the room and service. Check-in was smooth, and I initially asked if the band I was given meant I was all-inclusive. I was told it did, as it would allow me access to food and drinks. However, things started to go downhill when we entered our room. As soon as we walked down the hallway, there was a noticeable smell of mold, and it only got worse once we entered the room. The room itself appeared clean, but it had a strong moldy odor, and the TV didn’t work. When we went to eat at a restaurant, we were told that it wasn’t included with our band, and I had to pay for the meal. At that point, I was too tired and hungry to argue, so I just paid. Afterward, we went to guest services to clarify the all-inclusive options, and that’s when we were informed there are three different types of all-inclusive packages at the resort—something that was never explained to us upon check-in. It was only after paying for the meal that we decided to upgrade our bands so we could access all the resort’s areas. The food at the buffet was consistently cold, and there weren’t many options for pescatarians. Buffet breakfast wasn’t great, but lunch and dinner were the worst. I often had to make a reservation at a restaurant to get a decent meal. The next issue came with the shower. It was clogged, and the water overflowed into the bathroom, creating a mess. The mold smell persisted, and I had to use shower shoes because I didn’t feel comfortable stepping barefoot in the shower. The shower also didn’t have doors, which made the situation even worse. We reported the problems to customer service, and while they were polite, nothing was done to address the issues. It took four days for the TV to finally start working, and no one ever came to fix the shower. We just learned to manage it by turning the water on and off to prevent the overflow, but it never fully stopped. The resort staff were lovely, and I have to say the outdoor areas like the pool and beach bars were great. Unfortunately, the rooms are outdated and in need of major repairs. We spent most of our time outside, avoiding the room unless it was time to sleep. Overall, while the location and amenities outside were nice, the room conditions, lack of communication about the all-inclusive options, and disappointing food left a lot to be desired.

I’ll start with the positive, it’s on beautiful grounds in a good location. But the BAD started before we even got there and just kept getting worse. If you book through a third party app don’t call the resort about the airport transpiration that’s advertised as included, it’s not. And they’re rude about you booking on something other than through them. That is if you get someone to answer. Then be prepared to hear the words no and this isn’t included in your “all inclusive” for almost everything. Unless you pay extra, all you get is garbage!! The restaurants that need reservations are booked up so fast if you’re there on a quick trip you can’t get in. So the only option is buffet. Which was DISGUSTING, not edible mostly, never even warm. Always the same crappy, cat food looking, slop. If you want to destroy your stomach it’s a great choice. The tequila and vodka behind the bars tasted like brown bottle rubbing alcohol and the tap beer was extra watered down. I know the waves on the beach aren’t the resorts fault, but the beach was closed our entire trip. This would be less disappointing if you could access the pools by the ocean, but those were an extra $65 an afternoon. You couldn’t even sit in a chair on the beach without paying extra. I wish that was all, but the room was super disappointing too!! If you’re taller than 5’8” the bed is not made for you!! But if you are looking for pointers on keeping your things safe, talk to the towel guy, he has those things locked down like Fort Knox’s. All in all STAY ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!! Unless you like to waste your money

“28th May 2025” Important Guest Incident Report – Food Safety and Service Concerns Subject: Serious Health Incident and Service Deficiencies at [Grand Oasis Palm] During our recent stay at [Grand Oasis Palm], my wife and I experienced a deeply concerning situation that significantly impacted our health and overall travel experience. We both suffered from severe food poisoning as a result of consuming food served at the hotel. This incident not only disrupted our trip but raised critical questions about the hotel’s food safety standards and hygiene practices. It became evident that there is no adequate food quality control in place. Such a lapse in health and safety protocols is unacceptable, especially in a hospitality environment where guest well-being should be the highest priority. In addition to the health risks posed by the food, the service throughout our stay was extremely poor. Staff response was unhelpful, and there was a noticeable lack of accountability or concern for guest comfort and satisfaction. Due to these serious issues, I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to other travelers. Until appropriate corrective measures are taken—particularly regarding food safety and staff training—this establishment remains a health risk and a service disappointment.

This was a fun and lively resort! It felt as though the occupants were perhaps 50% local Mexicans vacationing with their families, and 50% international travelers. Their focus is on being a family resort with options for everyone. They had different live music each night, usually from 9-11. Yes, you will hear it in your room - but you shouldn't plan on vacationing here for quiet, you should plan on getting out and participating! If that's not so much you, bring noise canceling headphones. Food was alright. I do wish they would label each dish for allergens.
