Just returned from a 7day all inclusive holiday with Tui. In the local area there is nothing to do apart from go to the mini market down the road. You have to catch a taxi to go out to eat, and your limited. We ate one night at Mamma Mia which was lovely. Morro Jable was a more lively place, but it was pricey (26 euros each way). The free shuttle bus to the beach is great and i would definately recommend this. We got off on the first stop and walked down to the beach, where there is a bar. Our room was basic, Ac didn't work as it should. So it was hot at night. No kettle or fridge in the room. However was clean, and can't fault the lovely lady who cleaned it daily. Hotel isn't disabled or accesible friendly, there are lifts which are mostly out of order. We had to carry 4suitcases up am down stairs (not jus one set, but quite a few) on arrival and return. Staff didnt help. We had to check out at 12pm. On arrival The rooms are not well labelled and it took us a couple of days to get our bearings. Food was OK, we ate out 3times and mostly had chips. There isn't a faster turn around in the restaurants so I found myself on a few occasions setting my own table place. Pools were lovely, and if you get up early you can save a lounger, as everything after 9 is mostly gone. Wifi was poor. Drinks were ok and my 5 year old daughter loved the mini club. Lillian and staff who manage the mini club and entertainment are so friendly and my daughter loved it. If your looking for a quiet holiday in the middle of nowhere (literally a residential area) then this is ideal. You also need to be mobile as its not wheelchair friendly at all. I had a lovely holiday (we made the best out of it) but i wouldn't return to this hotel or location again.

Lovely Quiet Hotel. Free shuttles to beach.
Only reason I'm leaving a review is for the food.
We was All Incussive.
Dreadful, undercooked and cold.
2 occasions I tried to have a beef burger and they were raw in the middle. Not the greatest selection , they seem to love fish dishes.
We only stayed 4 nights and on 2 of them we went and ate out at restaurants.

A great big thankyou to Micheal the friendly and very helpful Tui rep who went over and above to make our stay enjoyable. 🌟
The hotel grounds are lovely, with plenty of space and kept clean. The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day.
We weren't impressed at all with the food. On 3 occasions the meat wasn't cooked properly. When I told the chef he just walked away. If you went to restaurant after 8 pm there was hardly any food left, it didn't finish till 9pm.
The manager in restaurant never smiled and on one occasion was rushing around clearing tables, checking his watch and had his jacket over his arm ready to close the restaurant and leave for the night...we hadn't even eaten....he had other staff setting the empty tables for breakfast.
Shame about all of this as it is a really nice hotel.

The rooms are rather dated. No Kettle or fridges!!! They were all painted multi colors when we were there 6 weeks ago however I belive tui have now bought the hotel and Decorating was happening while we were there.
The pool is huge with plenty of beds
Great for all-inclusive as there is a constant supply of food and drinks throughout the day.
The rooms for me were cold, especially on an evening, and there was no heating only air con as they switched the heating off.
The entertainment was pretty boring. Silly quizs or mental heads running around with the kids.
And if you are limited to walking or in a wheelchair although they have lifts and stuff, there is loads of stairs to walk up or down to get to the food restaurants and bars.
The staff didn't go out of their way to make anything special about the service it's like just a job to them.
I'd recommend this for couples who just want to chill out and drink. Or families with younger children because teenagers would be board out of their heads.😬
I'm 49, and I would go back in a hurry and avoid March to April may time because it's freezing on a night and extremely windy in the day.
Oh, and I didn't get my bedding changed once while we were there
Hopefully, Tui or the new owners will take charge of this review.

Great all inclusive hotel. A vacation to Fuerteventura does require you to adjust your expectations because the (volcanic) island is basically a big rock in the sea with a few manufactured beaches. The entire coastline is littered with these big hotels which create a sort of small oasis for you to enjoy your stay in, just don't hope for a lot of exiting vistas or nature excursions. The area where this hotel is located, Costa Calma, has litteraly one big tourist feature to visit: a small zoo. Something that is very well arranged is the possibility to rent public e-steps on basically every corner of the street. Easy and fast way to visit a (very) few local shops and nearby beach. Never the less this hotel was excellent, always nice to see a hotel present you with exactly what was advertised: a big complex with a big open breakfast and dinner restaurant, a poolbar that opens as soon as breakfast is concluded, a big 1,5 m deep lightly heated pool, a disco/party/karaoke bar and a lounge bar to spend your evenings. Personell is always very nice, very hardworking people who deserve your appreciation. Rooms are cleaned and tidied every day, your dinner plates are picked up as soon as you finish your last bite, the lifeguard is basically the pool (cleaning) boy and the public restrooms are never filthy. The food is good. There is enough in both quality, quantity and diversity to offer choises to even the pickiest eaters (like us!). Just don't expect a 5 star meal course, it's clearly made on a mass scale which in my opinion is exactly what you sign up for is you decide to stay in an all inclusive resort. Lots of excellent drinks, slush puppys, wine beer, coctails both with or without alcohol (and none of that pre fabricated stuff) There are a number of pool tables, a couple video and air hockey games, a small shop and thats about it. A number of handy tips and tricks: the pool times are 10:30 till 20:00, dinnerware is preferred (wear pants!), don't bother bringing your own pool towels, for a €6,- deposit you get very large fresh ones every day. We rented a couple of the more luxurious pool beds for a few days (€10,-per 2 person bed) since it basically where you'll be spending most of your stay, really made our vacation feel extra great. We had the pleasure of staying in a family duplex room which is basically 2 seperate rooms connected with a staircase, 2 bathrooms so very very advisible if you're staying here with kids. Now for the eh...part: the hotel is clearly in need of some renovations, as i understood from older reviews they have just finished renewing the balconys, i do hope they quickly start with the rest. Its got some run down spots here and there. Nothing very problematic but a four star hotel should have working pool showers or pool stairs that aren't loose. But that's about the worst that can be said about this place.
