Came here with my partner for a simple relaxing week, fairly decent hotel, not too many complaints but certain areas were lacking. Rooms are pretty good, roomy and clean however our soap in the room never got restocked and beds are hard (some people prefer that) and come with one pillow which was a bit annoying but you can take it on the chin. Food itself was simple and what you can expect at a all inclusive, nothing to write home about, although the breakfast they serve was bland and not nice, I ended up making rolls most morning instead of hot food options. WI-FI is not great it barely got to our room and is quite slow at times. The staff were lovely especially the reception staff , they left us food in our rooms after a late flight getting there and were very helpful. I feel like they need more staff behind bars however because sometimes you’re waiting a while. Cleanliness wasn’t a huge issue for us at all but a couple times out of the week the cleaners didn’t change our sheets and certain bins overflowed. The location isn’t great, don’t expect a lot to do in this area except look in tat shops or going to some restaurants in the area, great place to charge the batteries but not too party, The hotel do try their best when it comes to entertainment and activities though. The hotel also has a spa and gym and the pool area was pretty good as well but try and get to the pool at 10am or you won’t get a sunbed. Most guests are English or British so it was easy to get on with other couples there and most food options catered towards us but they do also have Spanish food options. Still had an amazing time but there’s always room for improvement.

On arrival staff was very friendly, check in was easy and we was informed off all the rules that the property had. We stayed for eight nights (room and breakfast only) from the 9 days we were in Costa Calma we only ate the dinner menu twice €20 per person. As a fussy eater I knew I wouldn’t like much however my partner eats like a human garbage can and even he wasn’t fond of the food, it was fairly repetitive even at breakfast times. The room was sparkling and couldn’t be any better; the cleanliness level was incredible and the service from staff during our stay was amazing. The spa is €15 per person but well worth the money; we went twice in the time we were there. It’s not as busy as the main pool where you’re lucky to even gain a sunbed. The main pool is only open from 10am to 6pm which we was a little disappointed about as for an adults only hotel you’d expect to be allowed in there a little later, unless you was there at 10am sharp there’s little to no chance of getting a sunbed. People were jumping the fence and reserving beds before it even opened and nothing was done about it which did let the hotel down a little however only having one lifeguard to monitor the pool makes it difficult to look for such behaviours. Overall we did enjoy our stay and the cleanliness and staff alone made it worth while.

Im genuinely really disappointed in this hotel and jet2 the fact jet2 have given it a 3star plus is beyond me. Food is constantly cold, I did wounder why there was a microwave in the buffet area but now it makes sense, to microwave your food as its always cold no matter what time you go, theres reviews from weeks ago about cold food and theres still no improvement. We've complained to the hotel and jet2 and nothing have changed, food choice is poor and pretty much always the same with a slight difference to meat on the odd day. Cleanliness, our room has not been cleaned the entire week we've been here they've changed the bedding once and given us fresh towels once, never swept or mopped the floors, again despite mentioning it nothing has changed. Hotel is great at receiving feedback and doing nothing about it what so ever. It's understaffed as theres always a wait and que at the bar, never enough clean glasses so you get drinks in paper cups. Overall I wouldn't waste my money again visiting this hotel and booking through jet2

I absolutely loved this hotel, although its a little dated it is spotlessly clean. The rooms a a really good size and the pool area is lovely. Good selection of food, could be a bit warmer but I was happy with it. People that moan about this hotel are probably expecting 5 star on a 4 star budget.

Just back from a 7 night stay (All inclusive) and was worried after reading reviews. Had a lovely week, room clean and comfortable , balcony overlooking pool. Hotel location bit out way of any bars or restaurants but only 20 min walk or 4 euros in taxi. Had a beach day , beach lovely and sandy 15 euros for 2 beds and parasol for the day .Sea was lovely Food average was plenty choice but only lukewarm at evening, lots flies around the food . I have to mention Rosa lady served at pool bar shewas lovely and Aday for entertainment was funny also Jesus on reception was very helpful. My only disappointment was cocktails or lack of , they need to train up bar staff as they bit slow in evening. 4 star hotel I'd expect a nice cocktail.Pool lovely always got a bed no rush for them .Overall lovely holiday if want relaxing week this is the place .
