Great place if you are just looking to chill out and relax.
I knew where I was coming, so fine by me.
A long walk to the quieter part of the beach and personally I didn't feel safe walking back previously.
But stayed here as I said before, just a different hotel.
The difference here is that therefore seem to be more than the average solo travellers, we tended to gravitate together and had some great times .
Like others I do tend not to go back to the same place/hotel but I feel really comfortable here .

A very nice very clean hotel. Staff were always happy and friendly. Could not fault room, spacious , clean and comfortable. We had a nice room with pool view. All inclusive was good, as usual with ai, drinks being local, but hand poured measures made up the difference 😀. Food was plentiful, and varied, but frequently wasn't hot. Microwave available....Breakfast was the best meal of the day. The hotel is located on the edge of Costa Calma, a decent 20-30 minute walk to the hub of town and beach. The beach is long and clean. Costa Calma appears to be still being built, and or run down. Various places have been abandoned and just left to decay. The other point of note, occasionally there was a drain smell, this turns out to be the sewage works which is a few hundred yards behind the hotel....don't be put off, it's only occasional😷.
I think the 4* rating is a stretch, having stayed 4* elsewhere. But considering all, value for money no real quibbles and great for winter sun 🌞 without kids. Be aware though that the hotel classes an adult as 16y, so a lot of young people using the all inclusive to excess, and the subsequent aftermath. Enjoy your holiday.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the friendly staff. The food was great. The entertainment provided was top-notch. Overall, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of excellent.

What a shame! We went to this hotel a year ago and had a lovely time. Wow, how times have changed! We will never be back to this hotel again after out experience. All our money got stolen out of our hotel room, purse was knifed open. Reported to reception staff and they were very rude to start. Wouldn't help us or look at CCTV unless we had a police report, which we couldn't get as we were flying home soon. Then to top it off my partner got food poisoning from the hotel, a lot of other people did too and were very sick. The hotel is shocking from uncomfortable beds, uncomfortable Pillows and easy access into the rooms where you get things stolen. The fact that the food was mostly cold and they had a microwave for it to be reheated was bad enough. But the fact you get bad food poisoning from it, is something else entirely.
The only good thing about this hotel is the bar staff who were always polite and lovely and the entertainment guy who always put on a good show.
We will never return here again and I pray to everyone to avoid this hotel so you don't experience what we have and what many others have also.

We booked the KN Matas Blancas as a last minute break with our travel provider as a package holiday.
The hotel is a little out the way and on the top of a hill which isn't an issue for us as we're keen walkers and also had use of a hire car which I would recommend as there isn't a massive selection of restaurants in the immediate area.
Front of house staff were welcoming, approachable and assisting when needed.
The room was very clean, the housekeeping staff were regular in attendance and were in and out swiftly.
The room didn't have a kettle unlike most hotels we have stayed in however we picked one up cheap from a shop in the shopping area. There is a mini-mart round the corner for some basic essentials and for bigger shops, the spar supermarket was a 5 minute drive.
We booked bed and breakfast board, so we only sampled the food in the morning. The food was fresh with a fantastic selection of warm, chilled, continental and cereals. Fresh ground coffee on tap along with water and juices and a selection of teas.
There was evening entertainment and it looked like guests were enjoying themselves, the pool also looked popular but we tended to venture to the beach. (we found playa esmarelda the better beach as it was more shaded from the wind, but mind this is a popular nudist spot).
Fuerteventura was for me a one off destination to say I'd been, however if I ventured to the island again I'd definitely consider the Matas Blancas again.
