I have heard a lot of mixed reviews about this place so I’d like to share my experiences . The food is lovely and very worth the all inclusive me personally I’m really picky but their lunch / meal options are delicious . They have changing rotations of food every night . Although the food changes they’res always fresh pizza and chip with amazing salad option s and many choices of breads as well as some nights having a great selection of seafood including fresh prawns and oysters (great for sea food lowers as amazing options ) . They have ice cream which is delicious and creamy . The entertainment is quite good for younger ages and some nights older . The entertainment team is kind funny and helpful along with the rest of the staff . One problem though is we did notice after the cleaners had been out charger our wasn’t their which we still dont know weather was an accident or not we went to the shop to discover their 40 euros other than that great workers . The pools are great as one of the main 2 is heated and the other isn’t so you can change depending on how you’re feeling . Also just want to make sure for anyone reading this who is considering booking the slides are quite slow for anyone over the age of 12 due to them not being powerful enough and quite slow at that age due to ruff weight . Our only complaint is our room is quite far witch seems to be a different hotel or apartment complex merged into the SBH one which is quite the walk to meals but it’s quiet and mainly our fault as we booked a suit instead of a room but would have preferred some warning when booking . Also theirs a bus stop to the zoo really easy accessible and i would recommend the zoo 100% . Overall great food , great service , close to the beach and o would recommend to anyone planning on booking !!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing stay in Costa Calma! SBH monica resort beach is one of the best hotels in Costa Calma without a doubt. The location is absolutely perfect — right on the beach, which makes it a 9/10 experience from the moment you arrive. Waking up with the ocean so close is something special. The food deserves a big shoutout. I honestly had the best seafood and cheese pasta of my life here — compliments to the chef! Every meal felt fresh and high quality. The hotel itself is very large and well organized. If you’re planning to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities, I highly recommend booking an ocean-view room — the view is worth it. If you’re planning to explore the island during the day, the room view matters less, but the comfort is still great. What really made the stay stand out was the staff. The manager and reception team are true professionals and know exactly how to help guests if any problem comes up. The animation team is also fantastic — full of energy and always creating a fun and positive atmosphere. And a special mention to the housekeepers and guest room attendants. They work hard every day, pushing heavy carts and keeping everything spotless. It’s not an easy job, and their effort definitely deserves appreciation. We had an issue with the light in the bathroom, and the maintenance technician came to assist us. He was a very kind and professional person, and he replaced the light within a few minutes. Also, the team working outside cutting the trees did a wonderful job. In the end, all of them together have created something that truly feels like a paradise on earth. When you look at the island, you realize that about 90% of the it was originally just desert full of sand, yet they have managed to transform it beautifully Overall: great location, excellent food, professional staff, and a fantastic atmosphere. I would definitely come back to SBH Monica resort and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Calma!

23.06.2025, while I was sleeping alone in my hotel room at SBH Monica Beach Resort in Fuerteventura, I was attacked. I was hit multiple times on the head with a blunt object. One of my fingers was cut to the bone with a knife, broken, and my wrists were badly injured. Hotel guests called the police and ambulance, and I ended up in intensive care. My head was lacerated so badly that I had to get 11 metal staples directly into the skin to close the wounds. My finger was stitched. My arm was put in a cast. Most of my upper body was covered in bruises. I had not consumed any alcohol. I never left my drink unattended. I didn’t speak to anyone in the hotel. In fact, I had just arrived that day and had spent no more than 5 hours at the hotel before the attack happened. I was simply in my room. On the ground floor. I left the balcony door slightly open, because the room was extremely stuffy. The police investigation is ongoing. I’m now back home, beginning my recovery from a traumatic brain injury, and I may need surgery to repair my finger here in Germany. I am beyond grateful to be alive. My family and friends did everything possible — they mobilized the hotel, the tour operator, the local hospital, the police, the Ukrainian consulate in Spain, and even the Spanish Guardia Civil. But the way the SBH Monica Beach Resort handled this situation is a completely different story. The real heroes were the hotel guests from nearby rooms: • They were the ones who called the police. • They insisted on calling an ambulance (because the hotel staff didn’t want to). • They packed my things for the hospital — my phone, wallet, a dress, and even a bag with underwear. If not for them, I would have returned from the hospital with nothing, since all my clothes were soaked in blood. The hotel staff did nothing to help me. • There was no first-aid kit. • Nobody at reception had any basic first-aid knowledge. • They didn’t even have ice to put on my wounds. Even worse: • No one from the hotel apologized. • They refused to arrange airport transportation. • One staff member even implied I had imagined the attack or might be schizophrenic — she said this in front of the police, suggesting “maybe I had hallucinated it.” I hope this review helps someone stay safe. Please, take it seriously. For those who want proof or further details: Please check the coverage on RTL (a major German TV network), or simply Google this hotel in German or English and read the news about my case. It’s real. It happened. And it could happen to anyone. I’ve been trying to publish this review for over a month. Please help spread the word so that no one else has to go through what I did.

Like sooo many ... Read some horror stories. Wanted to share our opinion - Positive read! Firstly - 3 adults and 3 kids 15,11 and 9 Years old. Stayed for a week at the start of December. Staff: No complaints. We had originally booked to stay in the Fuerteventura Playa but that closed so we were moved by LoveHolidays. Cockroaches - This isn't a 'the hotel is disgusting thing' it's a nature thing. Like coming to UK and moaning about flies and Bees. We never saw any in the dining area. Me and my son actually kept trying to save them before they were getting killed 🤣 Customer Service : No complaints. To the point that at the end I told the manager that the reviews were rubbish about this place. The catering staff are more quiet and focused but they don't really speak English. So they may seem grumpy. If you try and talk to them they are lovely. Very hardworking. Don't stop. Fried eggs a bit too slimy for me on top. Omelette and scrambled eggs were lush.. Food was good. By end of the week it's a bit samey but still nice. Never ate so much fruit and veg tbh! When the restaurant is closed there is a snack bar..usually just whatever has been left over from breakfast but you can pick. Drinks lovely. Alcohol drinks generous. We were off peak so not many kids or kids activities on. That's ok. They still did a really cute disco of an evening and games of bingo. We aren't big evening drinkers. So it was enough for us. I could see they had a kids club area that is probably opened during peak time. Small playground on beach. Beach is attached to the hotel. Very easy access. Lovely beach. Lots of Land Hermit Crabs in the water and rock pools. Also lots of squirrels that look exactly like chipmunks which was super cool. Pools in December - Kids pool with slide was freezing. Paddle pool was freezing. Lifeguard on duty. Really nice lady. Pools by main entrance - another one was freezing and the heated pool was 'heated' 🤣 it wasn't really it just had the chill factor removed..however we were here in December. It didn't stop the kids! Some activities and games near main pools for a few hours. They also made up some random cocktails which were tasty. It states that you get free mini golf included at the hotel but you only get this if you get a voucher from the entertainment at the pool. If you go over to the sports centre yourself it's a few euros each and definitely not worth it. Gym is free. I paid £60 for a 90 minute massage which was lurvelly. I didn't use them but tennis area seemed really popular. Never struggled to get a sun lounger, however could see that at the peak of summer this would be an issue..we got to the pool after food in the afternoon and we always managed to find 5 together. If you want to access all SBH hotels whilst on holiday It costs 6 Euros PP per Day and you can't just buy it for one day..you get the wrist band for the entire stay. We never did this as it would have cost alot for 6 of us, but it may be a good way to swap up this food choices and explore other pools and amenities. Upon arriving manager checked us in early. We couldn't access our room until three but he gave us our wristbands and we were able to walk straight in for lunch. Which was really nice. They have a bag drop if you need to leave luggage Lovely little shop on site - touristy tat mainly but few selection of refreshments etc.. I saw on an airline holiday page that if we had gone with them it would have cost us £3500 however we went with LH on a black Friday deal for £1800 with luggage and 6 people. I can und erstand why there would be complaints by people who have spent thousands. You want luxury. If I had paid the £3500. I would not have been happy. It wasn't 5 Star. I'd say an extremely well kept 3 Star. That's not a criticism. However for our deal we were made up and would return. Definitely. Thanks everyone for making our holiday awesome! X

We had an excellent stay at SBH Monica Beach Resort. The location is unbeatable – right on the beachfront with a wonderful golden sand beach and beautiful ocean views. Our room was spacious with a sofa, large balcony, and French doors that opened to stunning sea views. It was clean, comfortable, and we appreciated the complimentary sparkling wine on arrival. The hotel’s architecture is also a highlight – it blends well with the surroundings without looking like a massive concrete block, giving it a more eco-friendly and welcoming feel. The resort is very family-oriented with plenty of activities for kids. There are pools with slides, daily entertainment by the pool (games, music, and dance), and evening programs in the clubhouse, which we enjoyed. While we spent most of our time swimming in the ocean and snorkeling, there are also multiple pools, a gym, tennis courts, and billiards. My personal routine was morning runs along the beach followed by a dip in the sea – absolutely refreshing. The beach itself is stunning, with soft golden sand and clear blue waters. Sunbeds on the public beach are rented out by local authorities (around €15/day for two beds), but within the resort there are plenty of free sunbeds and gazebos if you prefer to relax while overlooking the beach. We were on the all-inclusive plan and found the food and drink options abundant and varied. There were grilled meats, freshly fried fish, pizzas, pastas, salads, desserts, fresh fruits, and more. Drinks included tap wine, beer, soft drinks, and a good selection of cocktails – I particularly enjoyed the mojitos and vodka-lime. Restaurant staff welcomed us warmly at the entrance every day, which was a wonderful touch, and bartenders were equally friendly and smiling. Booking directly on the hotel website was easy and straightforward. We also arranged the airport transfer through the hotel (€80 return for two people), which was efficient and about an hour’s drive. Our 8-day stay from August 14–24 was blessed with perfect weather – around 25°C with pleasant winds, making it comfortable for long days on the beach. A couple of areas could be improved: the front desk could provide clearer, more helpful information, and the hotel should consider offering complimentary bottled water or at least filtered water refill stations. Overall, this was an excellent holiday and I would highly recommend SBH Monica Beach Resort. The beachfront location at Costa Calma is outstanding, the facilities are great, and the staff made the experience even better. I would definitely return.
