A mixed bag to be honest. The hotel isn't bad, so don't immediately discount a visit. The location and beach are fantastic. The rooms are a bit tired and dated - someone had been let loose with some silicone sealant in our bathroom and you could tell. Just minor repairs here and there would make a big difference. 2 out of 3 urinals in the main reception were bagged over and out of use all week whilst we were there. In the smaller pool toilets, tiles were hanging off the wall (could have hurt a child if they fell). There was also a big electrical unit near the toilets that was uncovered and could easily have been messed with. The pools are great, the kids love the slide one. The restaurant is both good and bad. Good - great selection of food, something different most days...the pizzas are great. Bad - I was served raw pork one day and nobody seemed bothered (and I mean raw). Also, my wife is GF and the staff were putting products with gluten in under the GF sign. Again, when this was pointed out, they weren't bothered. You have to ask for GF bread in a morning (which my wife says is good), but no other products were offered. Then on the last day, they gave GF muffins, donuts and cakes! Families of 4 or more struggle to get a table because of selfish people (singular or couples) sitting at tables of 4. The safe is a €20 deposit and you need a little device to stick in to activate it. The glasses for the drinks are frustratingly small. I know that's probably to discourage binge drinking, but it'd be good if they were a bit bigger. The entertainment and animation team were good. I know it sounds like I'm slating it, but it is worth visiting. The area is nice, the beach is perfect. Visit it.

What an amazing holiday for my 50th birthday. From start to finish the holiday went so smoothly. The flights and transfers were right on time to the lovely destination. SBH Monica Beach Resort is set on the stunning Playa Jandia beach in Costa Calma. South of the gorgeous island that is Fuerteventura. We stayed for 7 nights from 02/04/25 - 09/04/25 and opted for the all inclusive package. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious and had a lovely terrace seating area. It was a 5 minute walk (through the resort) to the beach. We enjoyed fabulous weather ranging from 26'C on the day that we landed and steadily increased to 34'C on the day that we left. The food was amazing with so much choice (I'm vegetarian and there were so many options) and lots of available seating too. The drinks options within our package were great too. Amstel lager on tap, lovely white wine, Cava and a great selection of cocktails too. As well as a great selection of non alcoholic drinks. All the staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. I would have no hesitation in booking again 5* A+++

No hotel envy here! I can't fathom why there were any bad reviews as everything during our stay was excellent. We first arrived at the hotel late in the evening and so was grouchy and ready for food after a day of travelling. However, the check-in desk was efficient and friendly and assured us we could eat straight away. The food options for our stay varied from day to day, but they made sure to have staples so it left us knowing we would always find something we could eat. They also had a speciality restaurant that was Asian themed this time, which I recommend trying out. Regarding the location, it's such a beautiful resort! So, there's not much to say other than you should experience it for yourself. They even had activities like archery, mini-golf, and beach volleyball if sitting by the pool all day isn't your thing. 10/10 would recommend.

Nice hotel, although it is tired and could do with some money spending to bring it up to scratch. Quite a few areas that health and safety would be jumping on if it was here! However, everywhere was very clean and all the staff were constantly cleaning all areas. Rooms were cleaned everyday so no complaints. Pool area had plenty of sun beds, along with others heading down towards the beach, including the Bali beds which was an additional cost. Nice bar down by the beach as well. Food was decent in the main restaurant but pretty much the same every day, but you expect that in a place like this, although it wasn’t an issue for us. We booked to go to the Asian restaurant one evening, and it was the worst food we had all week. Cold and absolutely tasteless, and to add insult to injury we were then billed for the drinks! Don’t bother if you are expecting something special, because this isn’t it. Be prepared to hire the safe in the room for your stay, along with the towels for the pool - you will get the deposit back at the end of your stay though. The staff were all friendly and smiley and although they seemed to be short staffed, they were all helpful and you could see how hard they all worked. All in all we had a good time here, although the star rating probably needs to be lower.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot thank the team at SBH Monica Beach Hotel enough for making my stay absolutely unforgettable! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful facilities and a perfect location, but it was the incredible staff who truly made my experience special. A special shout-out to the beach bar attendants who served with such friendliness and enthusiasm, and the front desk team who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for my stay. Your kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed! I will be returning to this little slice of paradise very soon. Thank you for creating such a wonderful and memorable experience. Highly recommended!
