Excellent customer service, staff were friendly and polite, and really made us welcome. Location is a short 20m from the airport, near the beach and a short walk from the town. It is worth noting that the hotel is directly under the flight path, so you will see and hear planes overhead. The food was as expected for an all inclusive, some of the nights were better than others. Lunch and breakfast were reliable. The main area for improvement is the service to the rooms, they should provide bottled water daily. We consistently found ourselves thirsty and having to plan evening trips to the bars to get water. Some of the towels provided had holes and tears to them and were not clean enough - the attention to detail isn't there. The free roaming cats were lovely, and it was nice to see the local wildlife in the hotel grounds, such as hedgehogs.

Our second stay at the Elba Sara, albeit 11 years after our first trip. We loved it first time around but did not know what to expect this time having read both positive and a few not so positive reviews. Based on our experiences we were extremely pleased to have come back. The hotel is well kept with good management and excellent, enthusiastic staff, especially the activities team. The food was also routinely of a very good standard. Lots of space around the pool so no issues with sunbeds. Well done Elba Sara!

Everything was amazing, the food, the service (particularly youseff) and especially the animation team! They were amazing and looked after the kids and built such an amazing bond with the kids over the 11 days. Can't thank them enough... The entertainment every night was fantastic even for adults. This is our second time here. We came last year for our son's birthday and came back because we had such an outstanding time. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are clean, the food is exceptional and the staff, particularly the animation team, make the whole experience spectacular. I would like to keep this place to myself and not advertise how great our it is but we would be doing the staff a disservice. From the cleaners to the receptionists and bar staff everybody goes out of their way to make you feel special. The animation team in particular made extraordinary efforts to elevate the overall experience. Thanks Julia, Reuben, Alex, Ivan, Julia B and ALL the bar staff you are all superstars! We'll be back next year and bringing more family. Thanks everyone and see you next year!

Superb hotel which does what it says. It is virtually on the beach and the service is second to none. In the restaurants, all the staff, particularly Pilar, Judith, Alexandro and Youssef were brilliant and in the bar, Borja was equal. All the staff were professional, friendly and courteous, 10/10. Live entertainment was provided each night including Devine, Tina, Dani and Bistra all of whom were fabulous and helped to make our holiday so thanks to all.
