I stayed here with my 17-year-old son. The hotel itself is quiet and simple, with limited activities, which can be fine if you are looking to relax. However, the surrounding area also doesn’t offer much to do, so options are quite limited overall.The food was acceptable, but after a couple of days it became repetitive, and the quality — especially the fries — could be improved. We walked about 2 km along the beach (southwards) hoping to find a pleasant beach bar or terrace for a good coffee or a cocktail, but unfortunately there were no real options.During the day, drinks are mainly available at the beach bar near the beach, which is something to keep in mind if you plan to spend time by the pool.Overall, an average stay: fine for a short, quiet break, but don’t expect much variety in food or activities.

We enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are dated, but for the price you can't really complain. Food was actually not bad for an all inclusive in Spain. There was a variety of food every day so something for everyone to eat and not the same thing every day. It was nice and quiet, we hired a car. I wouldn't recommend staying in costa calma without one, as there was nothing really when we left the hotel. We used the car park over the road, which did get busy (but we were there over Xmas and the hotel was fully booked). As for the drinks, we preferred to buy our own. All inclusive finishes at 11pm but the bar stays open till 1am for you to buy drinks. For the price and a cheap break it's not bad.

I would rate this hotel 4 out of 5. There are a few small shortcomings, but overall the atmosphere is wonderful and makes up for them. The greatest strength of this hotel is the people – the staff create a very friendly and welcoming environment. The reception staff, kitchen team, and bar employees are all very positive, kind, and helpful. You can really feel that they care about the guests and try their best to make the stay enjoyable. The food was decent, but not exceptional – I would rate it 3/5. There was enough variety, although some improvements could be made. Cleanliness was good, 4/5, with rooms and common areas well maintained. The hotel’s location is very good, especially for relaxing holidays and beach walks. I spent Christmas 2025 at this hotel and I am satisfied with my stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, mainly thanks to the great atmosphere and the amazing staff.

I sometime wonder if I have been in the same hotel as some of the other reviewers. I found all the staff polite and heplful, the rooms are perfectly adequate with a fridge and safe if you want to use it, decent hot shower and cleaned daily. The food was varied with freshly cooked fish and meat and pasta, and although sometimes it wasn't quite hot enough if you kept an eye on the chefs you could get it hot! Sometimes there was a queue but it moved fairly quickly. Good breakfasts too with freshly cooked eggs and pancakes. The New Years Eve Gala dinner was excellent. The animation team were very friendly and worked very hard. I didn't use the pools preferring the beach with comfortable sun beds. My main complaint was that there was no gym, although there ws a photo of one on their website and was the main reason I had booked this hotel. I did speak to the manager who said there was a gym at another of their hotels abou 15 minutes away but I told him it was misrepresentation and they should make it clear in their marketing and advertising, He assured me he would get it changed ......I shall watch with interest !!

Just got back from a week at Costa calma beach resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, food was a bit repetitive and the rooms could do with a bit of a refurbs tho other than that I'd recommend it, hotel was lovely and amazing views, entertainment team were very friendly and entertaining especially Francesco and Vivian. A few times the key cards stopped working and we had a broken safe but once mentioned to staff they were soon rectified. It was lovely for a relaxing holiday but not much nightlife around except a couple of bars 20 mins walk or 6 euros in a taxi, but was all inclusive so didn't go off the resort much!
