The Barceló Fuerteventura Mar is a superb choice for a holiday in the Canaries. Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. As a solo traveller they made me feel very welcome and safe. I will definitely visit again. Food was amazing great entertainment. The complex was beautifully maintained. The beach was a short walk away and I had a lovely experience at the thermal spa which was not too far from the hotel. Thank you Miguel for looking after us there😊 There are so many to say thank you to but i would like to say a big Thank you to you all . Rokhaya was one who made each day special with her Beautiful smile. See you again soon Trish

Great hotel. Nice rooms. Food good. Helpful staff, especially our Waiter Paulo, one of the hardest working and most helpful people in the resort. Personal service and good humour go a long way to making a trip memorable. Location by the sea is good but the beach isn’t the best. It’s a long way to the better beaches. The Barceló app is useless for finding activities but there’s plenty going on

We visited as a family in June and had a great time with yourselves. The food and drinks were delicious and staff team were so friendly. We visited the Pool Bar several times and Carlos and his team were so friendly and welcoming. Carlos in particular went out of his way to make us feel very welcomed, he was very kind, attentive, knowledgeable and excellent and his job. He is a great asset to the team. Thank you for making our stay very memorable and we would definitely visit again.

Can't fault it at all. Stayed for 10 nights May-June 2025 and loved every minute of it. The whole place was immaculate, the staff were friendly and helpful and the entertainment was amazing. The food was varied each night and breakfast each day was great. We never left disappointed. Our 9 year old is a very fussy eater and she found something most nights (and every morning). The location is first class, right on the beach! We would 100% return.

We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at this authentic Brazilian restaurant located right within our hotel in Fuerteventura! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The concept is brilliant – a Brazilian grill where they bring over a variety of perfectly cooked meats straight to your table, all bursting with flavor. There was also a great salad bar with plenty of fresh and tasty options to accompany the meal. What really stood out was the service – the team was incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Drinks were topped up without us even having to ask, and they were more than happy to bring over any extra condiments or sides with a smile. Everyone was so friendly, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. It felt like a real taste of Brazil, right here in the Canary Islands. With special thanks to Carol, Cami, Louis, Fatima, and Avril – you truly made our experience unforgettable! Highly recommend to anyone staying at the hotel or nearby – don’t miss it!
