I stayed at the Barceló Fuerteventura Mar for a week and enjoyed it very much. I give it my full recommendation. The hotel is large, and even though it was fully booked, you couldn’t really feel it. The room was spacious, with a huuuge and very comfortable bed, as well as a nice balcony. There were plenty of sunbeds by the pools, so it was always possible to find a good spot. The garden is pretty and well-maintained. The food was very good — fresh and with a wide variety of options, including local dishes, which I particularly enjoyed. The staff members were friendly, but my special thanks go to Blondie and Carlos from the Tindaya restaurant — they were both very welcoming and kind. I truly appreciated all their lovely gestures on my birthday occassion! 😊 I would also like to thank Dana, Marco, and Isabel from the Reception Team for being helpful and for making my stay so comfortable.

Our first ever visit to Fuerteventura Wow!!! What a beautiful hotel. 😍 We have had a lovely relaxing week at Barcelo fuerteventura mar and would highly recommended for anyone to stay here! We stayed in a deluxe room with hydro massage pool which was lovely, the room was a fab size, lovely and clean super comfortable bed and pillows which is a massive bonus!! The cleaning staff were super and provided everything we needed daily 👌 The staff at this hotel were all fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. They work extremely hard, the bar staff, the staff in the restaurants, the staff tidying around the pool, the entertainment team, Everyone. They're always on the go all day long but all had time to stop and chat, asking if we we're enjoying our holiday etc they are all brilliant. We ate in the Brazilian restaurant too and that was absolutely delicious 😋 highly recommended. Whilst sitting and enjoying the fantastic acts in the evenings there was a staff member (sorry didn't get his name) coming around the tables with his pen and paper taking drinks orders which were then bought over to us! We didn't even need to go to the bar. That was such a lovely touch 😍 we always had a good chat to him too! The acts in the evening were super, we thoroughly enjoyed ALL of them 😀 Big shout out to "Joangel" who is a massive credit to this hotel he works extremely hard and is super entertaining. Also made time to come and chat to us after he had sung his heart out and got the crowd up dancing. He is a star!! The pictures you see online are exactly what you'll find when you arrive its super 👌 We met some lovely friendly holiday makers too had some good chats and giggles with lots of different people which was really pleasant 😊 Will definitely be back thank you everyone for a fantastic relaxing week ❤️

We had a lovely stay at Barceló Mar, especially visiting in February. The weather was perfect — around 21–23°C — not too hot, just right for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The area is calm and peaceful, which made it ideal for family time. The atmosphere around the hotel is great if you want to unwind and recharge. The food was very good for an all-inclusive resort, with plenty of choice each day. The service from the team was excellent, especially the Ropizzo team — Etiore, Alba, Jesica, and Fatima — along with the restaurant hosts. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, doing their best to make sure guests are happy. Their positive attitude really made a difference to our experience. Regarding the room (Deluxe Premium), it was comfortable but could benefit from some renovation and updating. It wasn’t bad, just not quite at the same level as the rest of the hotel. Overall: Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) Room ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5) Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday and would definitely consider coming back.

This is a big hotel carefully designed to make it feel like a small hotel with personal service. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. All the staff are friendly and help to keep the hotel running smoothly. We have eaten in both restaurants and the quality and range of choice is excellent. We particularly loved the mexican restaurant where Daniela, Migual, Adrian and Pilar were fun and friendly, which i am sure is thanks to the excellent manager who has his finger on the ball. We werent expecting entertainment so it was a lovely surprise. I feel that the only thing that needs reviewing is reception and in particular , checking in. We had already checked in on line but still waited 20 minutes which i feel is too long. Perhaps one member of staff could be dedicated to those who have already checked in on line. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful once you spoke to them. Overall an excellent stay and we will certainly come back and also hopefully visit other Barcelo Hotels

Our stay at Fuerterventure Mar was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The hotel creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere the moment you arrive, with friendly staff who genuinely go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable and cared for. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect balance of comfort and style. We especially loved the peaceful ambiance — it made relaxing after a day of exploring incredibly easy. The beds were very comfortable, and everything felt fresh, modern, and well-maintained. The location is another major highlight. It’s ideally situated for enjoying both the beautiful surroundings and nearby attractions, while still feeling calm and private. The views were stunning, particularly at sunrise and sunset. Dining was also a standout feature. The food was consistently delicious, with plenty of variety and high quality ingredients. Every meal felt like a treat, and the restaurant staff were attentive and welcoming. Overall, Fuerterventure Mar delivers an exceptional experience. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into every detail, and it truly feels like a place where guests can relax, recharge, and enjoy a memorable stay. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic holiday experience.
