Huge hotel with lovely communal areas. Pools huge and plenty of sunbeds. Probably the best outdoor area we've experienced at an AI hotel. The food was disappointing - we are pretty easily pleased and don't expect top quality at an AI buffet as we appreciate it's purpose is to feed the masses but there was a distinct lack of variety and pretty much consisted of a protein of choice and the same vegetables every night. The dining room itself was nice and everything was presented beautifully but could have been improved with a variety of 1 pot meals or some themed evenings to mix things up. Drinks were good quality - the wine was decent which was a nice surprise (could order a bottle with meals) and there was a good variety of cocktails. Room huge with big comfy bed, powerful shower and good sized balcony however some signs of wear and tear and the balcony could do with a small table for a morning coffee or a game of cards. I emailed ahead and asked for a pool facing room which wasn't honoured unfortunately however we really appreciated the bottle of cava on arrival to celebrate my husband's birthday.
We had 1 evening meal in the Mexican restaurant and 1 in the Brazilian. The Mexican was fairly decent but the buffet area was too small for the amount of people dining there. The Brazilian was a bit disjointed. The meat itself was great but the starter selection was strange/a bit random and cold. There was a selection of burgers, paella, salad etc available at the pool bar at lunchtime which was fine but got a bit samey. Would have been great to have had toasties, sandwiches etc made to order available on AI.
The entertainment was as expected for a large hotel - there was a decent variety and it was performed in the lobby bar which was a comfortable space with lots of seating.
Overall the hotel is nice but the food really lets it down having experienced much better food at a 3* otherwise less impressive AI hotel in Corralejo.

Had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The whole place is so beautiful and clean, Very friendly staff.
The entertainment team where excellent! Naomi and Karim especially. Both extremely friendly and helpful.
My hubby and I loved the stretch classes, and my son had a boxing lesson with karim.
The service at times was a little slow during meals for drinks, but otherwise fabulous.
Hope to visit another Barceló resort again in the future.

Firstly, TALK TO VINCE! He's the experience/excursions rep, he knows his stuff. Planned an awesome day out on the sea; snorkelling, lunch, and drinks included all at very decent prices. Many more options are available, like off-road buggy rides, water parks, and so on. Anyway, we weren't meant to, but WE SAW DOLPHINS!!!
Now that's out of the way, we stayed in the adults only as all-inclusive plus. There's about 7 or so places to eat included, some you have to book, you get a voucher for a taster menu at a few of the others which are all very tasty.
The location is incredible, right on the marina with 360 degree great views, the sea is like glitter, weather is always nice all year round. You can walk all the way down the beach front into town in around 30 mins. This is probably now my favourite place I've ever holidayed. Me and my girlfriend loved every second of it.
The staff are all very friendly, the beach front bar does the best mojitos, all the bars serve a HUGE range on drinks and none of that premixed junk that gives you tummy ache, all branded booze and not a measure in sight 😉

We came for a much needed break and chose this resort due to its reviews. I can honestly say we were not disappointed by the resort.
Our room was very clean and tidy and the maid very friendly when saw her. She also did a great job. The areas around the rooms and the grounds around the block were very clean also.
The restaurant food was always well presented and plenty of choice. Staff were helpful.
One stood out, Judith who was very pleasant and greeted us at the door and spoke to us and explained things when we first arrived and was always happy.
Pool area and bars were looked after, the only one thing I would say was the bar at night sometimes had a bit of a queue to get served at.

Hi all,
Me and my girlfriend stayed in this resort for a week and I have to say I’m struggling to find fault! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms and entire hotel was clean and tidy. The location was fantastic with an amazing beach 2 minutes walk away. The pools were clean and huge! There was always free sun beds to use as well. The food was good too, the only thing was the buffet got a bit same old by the end of the week, but there was plenty of restaurants near the resort if we fancied a change.
Had an amazing time.
Thanks team at Barceló.
