Excellent hotel and wonderful staff. The views are some of the best! Everyone is super friendly and the service is great. Loved the food and activities. Thanks to yoga instructor Jay who did an awesome job! Huge thanks to all the staff for making it a brilliant stay.

Overall opinion: fairly decent option for an all inclusive resort in Marigot Bay. Some staff are very friendly and helpful, other staff seem miserable and are in no sense of urgency or rush when it comes to timely service. The rooms were clean and appeared to be maintained well with cold AC. Great resort style pool. Food and drink is subpar. Good resort option for the area, but could probably find better in the northern part of the island. Food & Bev: there were 4 onsite restaurants, 1461, Rum Cove, Hurricane Hole, and Meraki. The best experience was always at 1461. Regardless of the restaurant, we usually spent 1.5-2 hours minimum eating each meal because the staff are SLOW at brining out your meals, taking orders, etc. Drinks are below quality and poorly and cheaply made. Even the house wines did not taste good. The food was not terrible, but for what the cost would be outside of all-inclusive, it did not live up to the price to quality correlation. The pool bar is extremely slow at providing service, however someone did come around poolside to take orders a few times which was nice. The restaurant staff were all overall brash and unfriendly, specifically at Meraki. However, the main resort staff were extremely nice and helpful throughout the stay. Rooms: our room was cleaned daily to include “turn down” service with restock of water and beverages. There was never an issue with having clean towels or a cleaned room. The bathrooms DO NOT have AC and have a wooden slat window with a screen behind it. The bathroom stays humid and warmer than the rest of the room, you have to keep the door propped if you want AC. Room service was much quicker than restaurant service and you always got the same thing you would if seated at the dining table. I recommend room service over actual dining. Pool: great pool with plenty of pool chairs and cabanas. There is a kid friendly pool (largest pool) or a quiet pool just below it. Complimentary pool towels next to the pool was nice. Again, poolside service is lacking in quality and urgency. Transportation: I simply walked up to the Zoetry booth at the airport upon arrival and was taken to the resort right away with a nice driver and clean, large van. This is a perk to have transportation to and from. The ride is roughly 1 hour long and the roads are ROUGH and very winding. It is exhausting to have to take that ride pre/post hours of sitting on a flight. Staff is adamant about when you get to arrive and leave, so be prepared for their direction. Activities: there are several activities such as snorkeling and a catamaran which was very nice. The catamaran was accompanied by many staff members who seemed to be on the boat for their own enjoyment. There was not much relaxing as they pushed alcohol and dancing, but it was fun nonetheless. The nightlife is lacking at Zoetry and it was hard to determine where to go for a drink. There did not seem to be much of a crowd after the dinner hour anywhere. The area overall seems “sketchy” for a lack of better terms with Zoetry in the middle of an underdeveloped area. Despite this, I never felt unsafe. I would recommend remaining on property at all times and no wandering off to places such as JJ’s the karaoke bar. I won’t expand further on my reasoning. Overall, the marketing of this place is better than the actual experience. I would weigh all resort options before booking at Zoetry, although not a bad option overall. I would go back if the price were lower to stay here. Otherwise, I’d choose somewhere else more northern on the island. If you’re looking for a relaxing “health and wellness” marketed resort, Zoetry would be more fit for you.

I ate at the hurricane hole for dinner one night and I ordered a don julio margarita. The menu they gave us has margarita for $22. To my surprise, when the waitress gave us the bill, they charge me $104 US for 2 margarita. I travel a lot and never seen anything like that before. This restaurant does not list the price for what I ordered nor did the waitress told me the cost before hand. I thought all the margaritas would be around the same price. I ended up paying $52 US for each margarita. This is unacceptable and unbelievable. When I questioned the waitress, her response was we don’t volunteer the price. When asked to speak to the manage, she told me she is the manager and refused to get a higher up. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Overall, a lovely experience. Staff were efficient, friendly, helpful. Housekeeping staff top notch; left the sweetest note before leaving. Quite a change from the regular resorts. Food was tasty, particularly from La Bateau. A quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

I was there for a 7-day stay to decompress, after mom passed away. They came highly recommended by my travel agent, Latitude Concierge Travels. Upon arrival I was met with courteous staff, who exceeded my expectations. Through conversation, they found out about my dietary restrictions and they set up a meeting with myself and the Head Chef for the restaurants and they catered to my requirements so that I wouldn’t become bored with the cuisine. I had booked a master suite and my room was gorgeous. The spa and gym/fitness areas were always kept extremely clean and I really enjoyed working out outside. I took advantage of their daily teasers that were offered from the spa. Each day the spa offered complementary services at a shorter time and I was able to get a 20 min massage and a foot scrub while there. The ferry ride over the beach was short and once you arrived you were greeted with a representative from the resort. They ensured your time at the beach was comfortable, ie set up your beach chair/towel and checked in to see if you needed anything while there. It was an amazing time, and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to stay in a serene and calming environment. I would definitely return to this resort.
