Stayed here for 4D3N. I feel the service really is what sets this Westin above - every staff member was so accommodating, warm, helpful and thoughtful, noticing details and making the effort to make us as comfortable as possible (eg offering ginger and honey with my tea as they noticed I was coughing, offering beach shoes as they noticed we were struggling a bit to walk in the water). Some things that could be improved in my opinion is maybe the decor and little amenities in the rooms, and unfortunately the beach did have trash (in the water and on the sand) when we were there, although we saw staff working to clean it. That said, these things did not impact our stay very much at all; it was enjoyable and comfortable all the way through.

The Westin Phuket was so much better than expected. The service was insanely good. Everyone was so sweet and kind. We had some issues with our room but they resolved it real quick. The pool area is also very nice and since they have two pools they’re not even crowded. Nice to live 10-15 minutes outside of Phuket old town to get that real calm and quiet holiday. Only remark is that the rooms are bit outdated and the cleaning could be a bit better but other than that it was a fantastic stay.

Didn't enjoy my stay. 1. The guy who drove us back to the airport was clearly influenced on drugs. My wife pointed out he smelled weed. He drove reckless and ignored me when I asked him to slow down. He drove us also to wrong terminal. Extremely unprofessional and dangerous. Very disappointing that Westin dont have a better control on their staff 2. Front desk was really hard to communicate with. I asked for receipt for the cancellation of the deposit back to my card, which i had to talk with 3 staff member. Even than they didn't prepare are proper receipt that they made. When we asked them for help it was more a way to say no than finding solution so we ended up just stop asking 2. The spa was the same, i told the therapist to focus on my upper body as my lower body had injury, he kept focus on my legs and even when i told her to stop 2 times she kept doing my legs. She even almost fall a sleep during the session also... O.o really bad spa. 3. The room we got was old and dirty, the shower didn't work, water was either cold or super hot and couldn't adjust so shower in cold was the best option. Overall the worst Westin experience and I will never ever come back here

What a difference a room makes!. Our first room was a standard King room with Ocean view. Upon arrival, there was a smell in the room that had been covered up with perfume. Maybe mildew, maybe the drain pipes smelling, a little urine? It was not terrible but it was definitely noticeable and the room was definitely showing signs of age. After 2 days, they upgraded us to a pool room. Wow! It was wonderful. Although we shared the pool with one other unit, it was basically a private pool because they were not there most of the time. The room did not smell at all. No perfume no nothing. It was a wonderful place to stay for 3 nights. I would have not been happy staying in the other room for all five nights. The service is wonderful. All of the employees are friendly and helpful. It really is a great place to stay if you get a good room. We had a car so transportation was not a problem. However if you have to rely on the hotel shuttle to get into town, it only runs twice a day. I think it would be a real problem.

Loved the place overall. Really nicely done resort, looks very fresh and new, the staff is particularly nice and friendly (our compliments to Poom that checked us in and took care of our plan for the stay overall). We stayed in a private villa with a pool and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The rooms were really well done. While it’s a hilly property, they have electric cars to ferry you around and they are very easily available. Food rates were competitive and their Thai preparations are a must try. Their head chef went out of the way to accommodate allergies for my parents. Bit away from the city - Which is good. If you like to go out a lot, you’ll have to rely on taxis or the hotel shuttles. Full marks for everything else
