We had a wonderful experience during our stay at Grand Mercure hotel in Thailand. The location is absolutely spot-on — close to major attractions, restaurants, and activities, yet tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. It made getting around with our toddler really easy. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the staff. They were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to accommodate our requests, whether it was heating up food or helping with small needs at odd hours. The availability of food overnight was a huge plus, and we especially enjoyed the specials by the pool — the burgers were delicious! The breakfast buffet also offered a fantastic variety to start the day right including vegetarian Indian food. The swimming pool is amazing, and we spent quite a bit of time there as a family. We also used the kids room and showers next to spa area. The amenities are well thought out and modern, which made the stay comfortable. While the rooms are slightly on the smaller side and the balcony space is very limited, these were minor trade-offs compared to everything else the hotel offers. Overall, as a couple traveling with a toddler, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and truly welcoming service.

I checked into a “Deluxe - Twin” room at the Grand Mercure and do have to say that it has been a disappointing surprise. When we were shown the room, the “swim out to stunning lagoon pools” feature was located directly in front of the children’s pool and play area. As two adult friends traveling together, we weren’t expecting to be adjacent to the children’s play areas. The front desk agent with whom we spoke while trying to move away from the children’s area, said that the ALL of the Deluxe Twin Rooms (with the swim-out feature) are ONLY located around the children’s pool & play areas. This seems like a very conscious decision by the hotel that it does not disclose in the online descriptions of these rooms. I would have never booked the room had I know it would be near the children’s play areas. If you are considering booking a Deluxe Twin Room with the swim out feature, you should be fully aware that it will be adjacent to the children’s pool, children’s slides and water features and the lounge areas around the children’s pool. I was told the Deluxe King Rooms have a swim out to the quieter pools but was not able to see them as I was told they were fully booked and unavailable. As for the rest of the hotel - the staff are generally friendly and listen to concerns but are limited in their options to help guests. With a full hotel, things do seem quite chaotic and staff are just mostly trying to just catch up. The room was clean but definitely showing signs of age - most of the furniture is worn in places and the charging ports in the room are full of corrosion. The pool area has signs of wear and missing concrete in places. The location is good, walkable to most of the Patong Beach area. I’ve just completed night 1 of 6 at this hotel and can say that the thing I’m most looking forward to is check-out. A return visit for me is highly unlikely.

We had a great stay at Grand Mercure hotel. The staff were very helpful and professional. Especially the staff at breakfast and dinner they were very courteous and friendly. The hotel is in a great location as you have everything close by. Patong beach is a 7 minute walk and Central shopping centre is a 15 minute walk. It is a very busy and live area. The only improvement I may suggest with the hotel is cleanliness of rooms. Overall cleanliness was okay however at times there were dust and hair in places. Otherwise a lovely place to stay.

Check-in experience was nice, However details regarding the amenities at the property were not properly explained. Like shuttle service to the beach etc. Property is Excellent. Close to tourist activity zone. staying here was a nice experience and value for money. Specially their breakfast Buffet is exceptional. Variety, staff, specialty coffee, etc.. it was too elaborate and would satisfy everybody's needs. also to mention, they have a well equipped kids room. So if travelling with family it might be a goto spot at the property. Overall would rate it 4.9/5. very good stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Mercure Phuket. The hospitality was excellent from check-in to check-out—staff were friendly, polite, and always helpful. The rooms were beautifully decorated with a perfect mix of modern comfort and Thai style, very clean and relaxing. The food was delicious with a great variety and quality. Overall, a very comfortable and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phuket.
