I had a lovely 2-night stay as I was mostly looking for a nice place to rest my head at night, while I ventured out during the day. The continental breakfast was great with a large variety of food and drink options, the pool was relaxing with only a handful of people there at a time, and the spa services were wonderful. I had a late night flight departure so it was nice to be able to lay by the pool and then have access to a shower, even though I had checked out earlier in the day. The room itself was fine, though could have done with a better cleaning before receiving its next guest.

When we turned up and checked into our villlas my mum was mobility impaired and required a wheelchair and walker. Upon checking in. We didn't expect there to be great access in Thailand for wheelchairs / walkers etc since there was basically none outside the hotel and access via chair required a little detour to our rooms... no dramas it was manageable. Same with getting into the villa, we had to dump the chair before the personal swimming pool and lift it up a few inches twice to get into the room to park and charge it. No dramas, Dad and I could take care of that since it was manageable. Without being prompted/asking/discussing mobility access to the villas after we checked in squeezed the chair in and then went out then to dinner later. While we were out.. a team of construction workers / handy men & staff turned up and built an access ramp for mum's wheelchair to easily get up from the footpath leading to the door. Then later another ramp nearby to bridge a gap so mum didn't have to 'take the long way to dinner' via the elevator. Above and beyond service to make our lives a little easier and more convenient for our 2 week stay. It's taken me a while to remember to leave a review since it was the end of 2022 when we visited but I assure you we had excellent service during our stay in the two bedroom pool villa's 902 from memory.

Hi guys - Hotel here’s what it’s like in the hotel. The hotel is open concept meaning no AC in the hotel except in the rooms. It can get stuffy waiting for taxi in the lobby when it’s summer time. Rooms Rooms are very nice but you cannot control AC it’s set on the temp 20.5. When you contact the lobby they said they will fix it to my chosen temperature which didn’t work Water The shower was fine, clean looking good hot powerful water. However the bath water was yellow. They said they fixed that too when I complained but it turned it wasn’t. Staff Staff are friendly, nice and always great service. Overall, As a first time holiday Staying in the city wasn’t the best experience. It’s quite crowded, hot, humid and a lot of cars & traffic made it harder to breathe. When I went to areas 20 mins away from the patong it was a much better experience. Cleaner air, chill tourists, no traffic. The city cannot offer that peace of mind. Plus motorcycle taxi was a great experience 3$ average trip cost 10-20 mins. Trust me there’s more places to visit than patong. Even if you want to stay next to the clubs it’s simply not worth it.

Our 6-night stay was fabulous. The hotel is located close to beach, shopping and restaurants and bars. The amenities within the hotel were great, from the pool bar to the coffee shop. The breakfast was amazing and a very high standard of food. We ate at the barbecue one evening and it was so delicious. Loved the pool, massages and rooms were very comfortable.

Stayed one night with my wife and young son at the Grand Mercure Patong in a private villa after our flight was delayed a day, and we all wished we could have stayed longer! Amazing hotel! Amazing villa! Amazing buffet breakfast! Everything about this hotel was incredible! And you forget that your in the middle of a noisy bustling city as the hotel is quite and peaceful! Can not say enough good things about this place, my son loved the kids room and all the staff were welcoming and friendly! Khap Kuhn krap!
