I enjoyed my time here at The Swan, and I would go back again. The location is definitely the highlight of the hotel, with buses to disney, and a quick few minute walk to Boardwalk. You can even get a quick ferry to Epcot. The service is great and a quick check in process even with a lot of people all checking in at the same time. I stayed in a two bed room with a balcony, and a view of Crescent lake. The room was clean with no issues. The restaurant options in the Swan, and the other two hotels are really great! They all never miss.

Save your money. Stay somewhere else. Dirty, poor quality service, and they over charge because they slap a Westin name on the Hotel but it is far from the standard. Also, the parking is $40 a night but there is never an attendant and the gate was always up so we paid for an open parking lot. I was not sent a post guest survey so I can’t post to the app. My hotel room was dirty and had mold in it. The bedding was disgusting. The pillows felt 20 years old, the sheets were scratchy and the duvet was flat. At a Westin, I should feel like I’m sleeping on a cloud with their ‘heavenly’ bedding but it’s clear they do not leverage this or keep it up to standard for almost $500 in Jan. There are too many rooms in the Swan for the quality I would expect. Change the name to an Element or Fairfield Inn and lower the price by $150 a night and it’ll be worth it and actually match what you provide. If you care about being that close to Epcot you can stay here but I wouldn’t for how much you’ll overpay for a gross overpriced hotel.

We chose to stay here mainly because of the location, but also because they offer an annual passholder discount/booking rate. It does cost quite a lot to park here. We were served by a lovely employee at the front desk who was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, it had 2 queen beds. I wish it had more storage options, since we were staying for 8 nights, but since this is just a standard hotel room, it had standard options. It was nice that there were two sinks, one outside the bathroom, and one inside the bathroom. The toilet, sink, and shower were behind the door, and the other sink and closet were outside the bathroom. The closet had a long and short closet rod for hanging and quite a few hangers which was great. This is also where the safe was, the iron and ironing board, and the luggage/duffle rack. The main room had 4 large drawers, and the mini fridge. It also had the single serving coffee maker. There were plugs on the lamp on this dresser/countertop. The TV was large, had a decent amount of channels, but also had the sign ins for various streaming services which was great. There was a small desk and rolling chair. There was a plug on the wall by the desk. There was also one sitting chair. The balcony had two chairs and a small table and that took up most of the balcony. The sliding door and the window were both almost floor to ceiling so it was quite large and had a lot of natural light. The AC went down to 65 which was great. The only thing was the vent fan/exhaust fan was quite loud at night and just made some more white noise during the night. Also note that since were close to the friendship boats, we could hear the horns honking all day and night. There is only one nightstand in the middle between the two beds and that’s where the lamp is with the plugs, and also USB plugs. There is no drawer here, just a shelf. The room also came with two Dasani water bottles each time housekeeping came in which was awesome for taking with to the parks each morning. Upon check in we were asked if we would like housekeeping every day or every 3 days. We chose every day. It seemed that they got to our specific room between 1-5pm. Overall the room was clean and comfortable and served our purpose for the week. The hotel is in a great location, as it is within walking distance of Epcot and Hollywood studios, as well as the other resorts there (dolphin, swan reserve, boardwalk, yacht club, beach club), which is great for shopping, dining, and checking out other resorts. We also got the resort refillable mug, and liked filling it up at the yacht club every day since they had a coke freestyle machine. The friendship boat dock is great, as the boats come every 15 minutes, and it is the last stop right before Hollywood studios. The other direction however it has to stop at 2 resorts before Epcot, so its better to walk to the boardwalk and catch the boat from there directly to Epcot. The resort offers bus transportation to the parks and Disney Springs. However in our experience, since this is run by a third party (Mears), they run less often (about every 30 minutes), aren’t as reliable, and drop off and pick up at third party bus stops at the parks. It was easier for us to walk to the yacht club or boardwalk and take the busses. Note that after the nightly rate, there is a $50 daily resort fee that gets added onto each night. Read the card they provide to you at check in to see what all is included. You also get the Disney resort benefits such as the early entry perk, and the extended evening hours perk. (Don’t forget to add your confirmation number to the Disney app so it is linked in your hotel reservations). You also get to park for free at the Disney park parking lots. If you are a Marriott member, you can also earn and spend your Marriott points here. Really, the price you pay here is pretty good considering the location, and the deluxe hotel perks you get. Overall we enjoyed our stay here, it’s a high quality hotel, and would stay again if the price is right due to the location and the perks.

I slept so well here. The mattress was very firm but very comfortable. As soon as I laid down I was ready to sleep. The room had a good amount of space and complimentary bottles of water. There was a sink outside of the bathroom, which worried me, but thankfully the bathroom also had a sink in it. Another case of a full bathroom in one room! Excellent. The toilet though... What's with the toilet? Sometimes one push of the lever is enough to flush it. Sometimes you have to push it two or three times. Sometimes, it seems like you have to hold the lever down. It made no sense and usually did a false flush, where it would fill with more water and then stop without flushing down anything. Other than the toilet, I really liked everything about this resort. There was a coffee shop on the ground floor. There was plenty of lounge space with nearby outlets. Some restaurants were in the building. The Boardwalk was within walking distance. The Dolphin was close by, even though the statues on the building looked nothing like dolphins. The staff was great. There maybe should be a way for people to contact Bell Services instead of just standing there hoping someone shows up. Why they don't tag all of the bags is beyond me. It seems like marking all of the bags would be more efficient and lessen the likelihood of losing them. I'd stay here again.

Overpriced, Non-Luxury Experience After a spontaneous and wonderful day at Disney, we decided to extend our trip and treat ourselves to one night at what we believed would be a luxury hotel: Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. We arrived late, exhausted from a full day at Magic Kingdom, and were looking forward to a relaxing, high-end experience. Unfortunately, that’s not what we received. When we approached the front desk (with no one else in line), the only associate there greeted us with, “Do you have a quick question?” — not exactly the welcome you expect at a luxury property. When we said we were checking in, she told us she was “working on numbers” and that someone would be with us shortly, without even looking up. A second staff member came to the desk but also failed to acknowledge us. We eventually had to ask if we would be checked in. She replied she would be with us “in a minute” because she was also “putting in numbers.” We stood there several more minutes before she asked if we were checking in — which we had already stated. The check-in process itself was minimal. We were asked if we had a vehicle and whether we wanted self-park or valet. We chose self-park and were handed our keys with virtually no explanation about the property. When we asked where to park, we were given vague directions. Parking was $40 per night and, as we later learned, quite a walk from the lobby. When I asked about a luggage cart, I was told, “We don’t have luggage carts; we are a full-service hotel with bell service.” However, when we brought our bags inside, no one offered assistance. I sat in the lobby with our luggage — two large bags, a shoulder bag, and a cooler — and not one staff member approached me. A bellman walked by in a T-shirt and shorts without acknowledging us. The lobby seating consisted of a long table with backless stools, which was uncomfortable while waiting for my husband to return from parking far away after a long Disney day. Our anticipated “luxury” experience was already off to a poor start — and we hadn’t even seen the room. The room itself was perfectly fine but far from luxurious. The shower wasn’t very clean, towels were average, there was only one bathrobe, and no extra blankets or pillows. The bed was comfortable, but the linens felt like standard hotel sheets — not what we expected for the price. For over $700 for one night (including parking), we expected something beyond ordinary. Room service was another disappointment. Ordering required scanning a QR code, downloading an app, and navigating a cumbersome process. We gave up that night due to exhaustion. The next morning, we tried again and ordered breakfast. It arrived in a reusable grocery-style bag, with food in plastic containers and plastic utensils. This felt more like takeout than in-room dining at a luxury hotel. One item — a biscuit included with the meal — was missing. We called the front desk and received a $5 credit. At checkout, we chose not to request bell service given our prior experience. While my husband retrieved the truck, a parking attendant told him he had parked incorrectly and that trucks must park at the very back of the lot. We were never informed of this at check-in, nor did we see clear signage when arriving late at night. Before allowing him to leave, the attendant demanded his name and room number. The interaction felt unnecessary and confrontational. Meanwhile, as I waited in the lobby with our luggage, again no one offered assistance. In summary, we paid over $700 for one night expecting a luxury experience and received average accommodations with poor service and communication. We will not be returning or recommending this hotel. Highly disappointed.
