Nestled on 58 acres of former coconut plantation, the resort offers a breathtaking view of crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches. The luxury all-suite beachfront resort blends perfectly with the laidback, authentic lifestyle of Koh Samui. The resort provides a range of stunning suites and private pool villas, each designed to cater to every guest’s needs, offering the perfect environment for both relaxation and rejuvenation. The experience here is unforgettable, with a variety of unique activities and cultural experiences, such as Muay Thai boxing classes, local-inspired treatments at the Spa Village, and southern Thai cooking classes. The resort's restaurants and bars are a culinary journey in themselves, embracing southern Thai flavors and offering vibrant dining options. What truly made my stay stand out was the impeccable service. All the staff I encountered were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Special thanks to Khun Nic at the front desk, who made finding the perfect room effortless, and Khun Ar at the beachside restaurant, whose warm hospitality added to the overall experience. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine, I highly suggest you try Pak Tai Restaurant within the hotel. It offers a stunning view of a tranquil pond, and you’ll get to see plenty of fresh sea fish. The food is exceptional, showcasing authentic southern Thai dishes. Another highlight of the resort is the restaurant near the beach, which I absolutely loved. The view is spectacular, offering a romantic setting for a dinner by the beach, making it perfect for a special evening. I highly recommend The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui, for anyone looking for a luxurious and authentic Thai retreat. The service, surroundings, and experiences truly make this resort a standout.

There are not enough words to express how special my stay was at this Ritz property, however I will share the highlights. Firstly, the resorts location with the private beaches nestled into its own bay and gorgeous pool is truly something magically relaxing experience. My ocean balcony suite felt very private and the villas which are tucked way on the property are not n my wishlist for next time. Now time to share the real treasure behind this property and that is the Service! Checked in with Sunny and Got was very professional and pleasant, we received a nice cold towel and refreshing beverage to enjoy. The breakfast buffet is a smorgasbord of the freshest fruits, juices, tasty egg dishes, cuisines from around the world it’s a brunch buffet gone wild!!! Definitely something there for everyone. The special lattes made with a smile from Chin and Nan! Don’t forget to by a magic Persian silk rug at the brunch entrance walkway. You never seen such beautiful pieces! The Sea Breeze Restaurant was a great dinner on the beach with a fire-show to enjoy. The Sea-bass was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor and WOW, the size of the Tiger Prawns!!! Bas, Nikki, and Ping provide outstanding service with a couple treats through out the evening. The Ranch we could not enjoy enough once we had our first bite! We had to go again the following night! The restaurant has a Michelin star recommendation, but they truly deserve the award in my opinion. Chris, Kaka, Mai, Gift are so attentive to every little detail the moment you sit down until you leave for the night. Gift serenades you with the saxophone and it’s a true joy! Our overall experience was OUTSTANDING, Ritz Koh Samui will be my heart forever. Thank you to everyone for a unforgettable experience and Happy Songkran!!!

The most amazing stay at The Ritz Carlton celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Whole Team at the Hotel made us feel very special and we were overwhelmed by the kindness and warmth of level of service. The Champagne, cakes, beautiful flowers, cards and decorations helped make our celebrations super memorable. Special shout out to Ping and the Housekeeping Team. The Villa was very comfortable, with beautiful views of the sea. Food, drinks, pool bar were all just lovely.

The hotel is located on a beautiful property. Although check-in was a bit rough, Ruben, the manager on duty, was very helpful and made the process smoother. The food and service were good overall. I highly recommend booking a massage and spending time at the Spa Village—the staff there was excellent, and our massage therapists were fantastic. The rooms, however, could use some updates, as they felt quite dated.

The Ritz is undeniably a beautiful hotel, offering a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. However, upon arrival, the first thing you encounter is a cluttered area of suitcases waiting to be checked in, which slightly detracts from the initial impression. For those opting for half-board, it’s not immediately clear which restaurants are included in this service. We had to ask three different members of staff before finally getting a clear answer, which was frustrating and could have been communicated more effectively. Surprisingly, the hotel does not offer communication via WhatsApp, which is a standard service in many luxury hotels. Instead, you have to call directly for any requests, which feels outdated and less convenient. Attention to detail was also missed in a few areas. There were no branded bedroom slippers, which you’d typically expect from a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, the ceiling had a noticeable layer of dust, which shouldn’t be the case in a luxury setting. While the overall experience was enjoyable, improvements in organization, cleanliness, and communication would enhance the guest experience significantly.
