The resort is a great place for families and couples. It holds vast on site activities such as spa fitness, and kids club that can easily help you easily sink into the resort and make sure you shall seek for nothing more. Nevertheless, the excellent stuff will be helping with you with great experience and a big smile towards your needs even though they might be outside the resort. My partner and I spent three nights at Melati Resort & Spa. Initially, the resort appeared to be fantastic, but our expectations declined as soon as we entered our room. Like other guests who have stayed here and shared their reviews, I can definitely confirm that the rooms are outdated, there is mold in the shower, the water pressure is very low, the toilet has a slow flush, mosquitoes are abundant, and the so-called “private garden pool” lacks privacy since it is situated at the bottom of the villa allowing anyone passing by to see inside. Additionally, if you book a private garden pool, note that you will have a neighbor above, and the wall is nearly transparent, so you will hear them from your bed if they are hanging out at their balcony. Within these three days we heard our neighbor laughing and talking while we were in bed watching TV. Regarding the food, we were extremely disappointed. As food enthusiasts, one of the reasons we prefer staying in 5 star hotels is the expectation of decent food and drinks, so we don’t have to search for a restaurant when cravings hit during the day. Unfortunately, the food at Melati was not very flavorful; instead, it was bland and basic for a 5-star hotel. The only bright side I see is that the resort has its own private beach which is really nice to swim at and some staff members were quite friendly, but it is obvious that the place requires extensive repairs and is in desperate need of attention. Overall, Melati Resort and Spa needs significant improvements both externally and internally, for the price, this is not worth staying at and unfortunately, I will not be returning or recommending this place as a true 5-star experience.

Our stay at Melati Beach Resort & Spa in Koh Samui was absolutely wonderful! 🌴 The resort is beautiful — everything was perfect, from the facilities to the atmosphere. The room, the pools, and all the details made our stay truly special. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always with a smile and ready to help. Their hospitality made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We enjoyed every moment and would definitely come back without hesitation. 💚

I visited the hotel for work, but from the moment I entered, everything felt like a true five-star experience. The place is beautiful and peaceful, with an amazing beach and ocean. Breakfast was abundant, and the room design in soft cream tones was very pleasant — we felt extremely comfortable, especially with the garden view. A perfect place for a holiday and relaxation, with excellent service. We will definitely return. Thank you.

Looking for seclusion, total relaxation, beautiful food and amazing service? Stay at the Melati! Had a girls holiday for just over a week and the pictures and reviews do not do this place justice. Rooms: We stayed in a king room, massive comfy bed! The room is very spacious and clean. The staff really do look after you here. We loved the special desserts that were for different days of the week, we looked forward to this every night, such a lovely touch! Restaraunt/food: Buffet breakfast every morning was such good food! The service was consistently amazing and very quick with coffee and additional food orders. The space was always very clean, the staff here do a wonderful job and had kept our favourite seats for us. Special thank you to Padthai, Fon, Ton, Kevin and Jiji you truly made our stay extra special! Pool: Theres two pools, there is the main pool with a pool bar, definitely a favourite! Plenty of lounge space and a beautiful view of the private beach. We were gobsmacked by the view its truly beautiful. There is also a second adults only pool in the garden, this is so beautiful and relaxing and they have phones by the pool so you’re not missing out on getting drinks delivered to you. The pool/bar staff were so amazing! They were on top of everything always! And no request was too big. A very special shout out to Tony, Yeen and Sunny, you guys were a definite highlight and never let our glasses be empty or without a fresh towel and gave us a few laughs! Thank you so so much for everything. Spa: Of course we had to get some spa treatments! I had a thai massage and on another day a 3.5 hour spa treatment. Highly recommend getting these! Great price and a beautiful experience. The thai massage was the best massage I have ever had. I am already looking to come back again! We only left the resort for some activities we had booked but otherwise we were more than happy to relax here all the time! Its only about 15-20min drive to fishermans markets, its a little secluded but not too far so if you’re happy to just relax and shut off from the busyness of life highly recommend coming here!
