What a wonderful experience from stepping out of the taxi until checking out. As a person who has traveled in different countries around the world I would highly recommend this hotel if you visiting Koh Samui. All staff are so helpful and nice. You feel more like a part of the family than just a guest with a room number. The breakfast were really good, they had something for everyone, they also changed some of the courses from day to day which was fun. The caramel sauce and bread and much more were homemade which gave that “little extra”. Excellent food, from Thai cuisine to English fish and chips. The rooms had everything you can ask for. Spacious environment, bathroom facilities, board games and wardrobes and cabinets. A lovely experience. A bit pricier than other hotels, but you don’t mind while you get to enjoy everything I wrote above. After a couple of days after checking out of this hotel we came back to enjoy a stunning dinner and the staff remembers us and was very welcoming. Thank you!

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I could possibly need. Housekeeping was consistent and thorough every day. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. From the front desk to the restaurant and bar team, everyone made me feel genuinely welcome. The location was ideal — not too far from everything, but still quiet and peaceful at night. Breakfast was varied and delicious every morning, with fresh ingredients and plenty of options. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This resort exceeded all my expectations and I will definitely return. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I stayed here for 14 nights with my other half from Boxing Day onwards. It was unbelievable. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we tipped heavily as they were just so welcoming, every single day with a huge smile on their faces. The location was amazing, the pools were great, the room [private pool room] was brilliant. The cleaners were amazing, the grounds and landscaping was beautiful. We have stayed in top resorts around the world, mostly Europe, and this is on par with them if not better than most. The food, wow, honestly, it was beyond any food I have ever eaten, and credit to the cooks, because you don’t see them, but the food they produce is just top draw. Overall this holiday was the best holiday we have ever been on, and we will stay here again without a doubt. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Koh Samui. Yes it’s expensive, but there is a reason for that, and that reason is it’s a 5 star resort, without a doubt. I actually found some of the guests to be so rude to the staff it was frustrating, out of the whole stay, it was actually other guests that annoyed me by their arrogance and rudeness to staff. Clearly have a bit of money and think the world revolves around them. This hotel is top class, and if you stay here, you will love it! We stayed at Melati Hotel & Spa for the second part of our Koh Samui trip and it was everything we had hoped for from a five-star hotel. The grounds are stunningly beautiful and incredibly peaceful. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is calm, relaxing, and perfectly suited for switching off. The hotel feels very well cared for and thoughtfully designed. Having read some other reviews beforehand, I think it’s important to note that location is key here. Yes, the hotel is slightly outside the main busy areas, but that is exactly what you are paying for, to be away from the hustle and bustle. We found this to be a huge positive. Grab taxis were quick, easy, and readily available, making it simple to get to the main areas of the island whenever we wanted. The staff were excellent throughout our stay: friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. A special shout-out to An, who is currently training at Melati. He was absolutely brilliant and consistently delivered true five-star service, attentive, warm, and professional beyond his years. The food in the restaurant was amazing, both in quality and presentation, and easily one of the highlights of our stay. We stayed in one of the Pool Villas facing the Sanctuary Pool, which I would highly recommend. This adults-only pool area is incredibly peaceful, a real sun trap, and a standout feature of the hotel. The villa itself was huge, beautifully laid out, and kept impeccably clean by the housekeeping team. Having direct access to the Sanctuary Pool from the back entrance of the villa was ideal and made the experience feel extra special. The bed and pillows were a little on the firm side for our personal preference, but it didn’t detract from the overall experience. The beach is beautiful and very well maintained, with plenty of space for guests. Just be mindful that some people do go down early to reserve loungers with towels. Overall, we would highly recommend Melati Hotel & Spa, especially the Pool Villas facing the Sanctuary Pool. A truly relaxing, high-quality stay and a place we would happily return to.

We had honeymoon here with my wife for 8 nights. We never ever met such a friendly stuff in hotel, they are more than amazing. Enviroment in this hotel is briliant, tree, palms, grass, waterfalls etc...Thank you for pleasent stay and get back soon. Especialy big thanks to Sunny guy on pool bar and beautiful girl names Gift at the top restaurant, take care and remain same positive :)
