Perfect stay from start to finish. Room was spacious, well equipped and immaculately clean. We were in the garden wing and were worried this may have felt cut off the rest of the hotel but this wasn’t the case at all. Check in / check out and the app for services were super quick and efficient. Loved being able to choose our pillows, body wash and lotion scents at check in. Breakfast was really lovely with lots of variety and daily special options. Every single staff member was so pleasant and welcoming. We accidentally left some items behind after check out, Reception Staff very helpful in locating them and keeping them for us to pick up in a few days. We will 100% be back, already thinking of returning in 2027!

We recently returned from our holiday in Thailand, where we stayed at SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort, and writing this review is truly emotional for us. From the very first moment, what stood out the most were the people. The friendliness and warmth of the entire staff were beyond anything we have ever experienced. From the kind gentlemen who helped us cross the road every single day, to the reception team, to the incredible restaurant staff – waiters, managers, everyone – the level of care, kindness, and professionalism was exceptional. There were moments during our stay when we genuinely needed their help. One morning, our little one had a fever, and the team immediately stepped in. They called a taxi for us, made sure we got to the clinic safely, and checked on us multiple times afterward to see if we needed anything. They were always there when we needed them – not just performing a service, but truly caring. That level of humanity is rare. The gastronomy was absolutely outstanding. Breakfasts were fresh, beautifully prepared, and incredibly diverse, with an amazing selection of cold cuts, vegetables, fruits, and a varied à la carte menu that made every morning special. Lunches and dinners were just as perfect – high-quality dishes, great flavors, and impeccable service every single time. We also want to highlight the wonderful team at the pool and beach. They took care of us all day long, bringing drinks, fresh coconuts, and making sure we were comfortable at all times. Their kindness and attention made our days by the water effortless and relaxing. As parents, we must say that this hotel offers one of the best environments for children we have ever seen. There is so much open green space where kids can safely run and play, a beautiful large pool, and a fantastic kids’ corner with activities. Our child had an amazing program every single day. A special thank you goes to instructor Honey and instructor Chimn, who dedicated their time and energy with so much care and warmth. They made our little one feel happy, safe, and excited every day. We would also like to give a very special thank you to the incredible people who made our stay unforgettable: Erwin, Booki, New, Ooh, Amp, Cho, Mind, Nat, Mint, Am, Noom, Ice, Yod, Nim From the Pool Team: Ter and Pitr And also Sof and Bansan. Each of you made us feel welcomed, cared for, and valued every single day. Your professionalism, kindness, and genuine smiles are the true reason this hotel stands out. The hotel itself is stunning, but honestly, that is just the cherry on top. The rooms are elegant and extremely comfortable. We had a private pool, and the daily housekeeping was flawless. Everything was cleaned and prepared perfectly every day. And the bed… without exaggeration, it is the best bed we have ever slept in. Soft, luxurious, and unbelievably comfortable – we slept better there than anywhere else in our lives. After a month with the team, we no longer felt like guests – we felt like family. It was genuinely difficult to say goodbye. In our eyes, this is the best hotel in Thailand. Absolute professionals in every sense of the word, combining luxury with genuine warmth and heart. We are already planning to book our stay for next year, because the experience they create is something you simply want to live again. We recommend it with the highest possible rating.

This was our 4th time in the last 4 years staying at SALA Chaweng and the experience keeps getting better and better. The resort is beautiful, clean, and conveniently located near coffee shops, restaurants, convenience store, and a pharmacy. There are free paddle boards and kayaks for resort customers. The happy hour drinks on the beach are fantastic. We don’t usually eat breakfast, but the breakfast here is SO GOOD that we can’t resist stuffing ourselves. The views are incredible. The staff is friendly and accommodating…from the front desk to the restaurant/bar staff…from housekeeping to groundskeepers and managers…You can tell they truly care and take pride in what they do. We celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday here and the resort and restaurant managers & staff worked with me through all the details, were very helpful and accommodating. They made his milestone birthday a memorable one with a private fire-show (we hired the company, but the restaurant/resort staff arranged the details). Bonus: on the beach immediately next to the Tent restaurant is a massage stand…the ladies are very friendly and the massages are as rough or light as you prefer with the sounds of ocean waves lulling you into blissful relaxation. They’re not associated with the resort, but what a treat! Massages ON the beach! All-in-all, if you’re looking for an incredible experience at Chaweng beach (only 15 mins from the airport), you can’t go wrong with SALA.

Stunning hotel, great location, and most importantly amazing staff! As we arrived we were given a choice of pillow styles, soap and lotions, while our bags were taken to the room. The room smelled fresh everyday, the staff were incredibly attentive, even (without asking) placing electricity adapters in the sockets! The housekeeping staff folded our clothes, changed our sheets and towels daily, and tidied up the room to an impressive standard! Most importantly, we were super impressed that they went out of their way to help us with our dietary requirements, even as so much as ordering special items that we requested. On Saturday night, we had a stunning fireshow on the beach outside the hotel! On the final day, they packaged up breakfast for us, even preparing a hot coffee for us to take in the taxi on the way to the airport! If you're unsure about whether to stay here, perhaps this review has sold you! Best hotel ever!

If you can afford it, stay here. We only stayed one night but it is an exceptional hotel. The architecture is beautiful, the beach, the staff, the attention to detail is exceptional. There are gardens, two huge pools, tons of seating in shade and sun and excellent food. The ocean is gentle and sparkling. It is a true 5 star, I would give it 5.5 stars. I can't say enough good things about this place.
