We stayed at Sheraton Samui Resort and overall would rate our experience 3 out of 5. There are definitely some strong positives. The staff were consistently friendly, polite, and helpful. The hotel’s natural setting is also a big advantage. Surrounded by lush greenery and located directly on the beach, the resort has a relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor areas are well maintained, and the pools are spacious and clean. The beachfront pool area in particular is a nice place to spend time and enjoy the surroundings. However, there were several drawbacks that affected our overall impression. The air conditioning in our room was quite noisy, especially at night, which made it harder to sleep comfortably. We also had a connected room, and the soundproofing was very poor — we could clearly hear conversations and other noise from the neighboring room, which significantly reduced our privacy. In addition, the rooms feel dated and in need of renovation. While the outdoor spaces are attractive, the interiors do not match the standard one might expect.

We have just completed 1 week stay at this truly fantastic hotel . Nothing was a problem for the staff,all of whom were friendly,helpful and great. When we arrived because my wife had difficulty in getting up steps, they changed our room immediately ,at no charge,and the room was superb, spacious, complementary laundry, fully stocked up fridge with drinking water. Great views to the smaller pool that was often quiet. Lots of great facilities including 2 beach restaurants serving Thai and International dishes, the lobby cafeteria could have been transformed into a lobby bar possibly and a separate restaurant for breakfast. There are many great restaurants in the area but we had dinner twice in the resortand it was superb and delicious . Gym, tennis court, free shuttle to Central shopping center and free shuttle to airport. They have thought of everything. Have been to Thailand numerous times, Koh Samet,Samui, Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya and this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Sad to leave off to NH Collection in Samui.

First of all, pretty much all of the staff were extremely polite and nice. However, that about it for me on positive. This hotel is no 5 stars in my opinion, it's 3 or 4 stars at best. Everything is showing it's age. The AC system in our room sounds like an airplane taking off even on the lowest setting. I am not the only person who is pointing this out, I saw other reviewers pointing out the same. My experience during this stay also makes me feel like I should completely abandon Marriott network completely. My status meant absolutely nothing here. No room upgrade, no free breakfast, no spa discount, nothing...

Our stay at Sheraton Samui Resort was truly exceptional. The resort perfectly blends luxury, nature, and tranquility. The ocean views are stunning, the gardens are beautifully maintained, and every space feels calm and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer a real sense of privacy. The service was outstanding, warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of high-quality options, and the facilities, including the pools, beach access, and spa, were impeccable. An ideal place to relax and enjoy a memorable stay in Koh Samui. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it.

I visited with my family and we had a wonderful time. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the staff were all friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. The kids' club was a great bonus-it features a small playground and an indoor play area that kept the little ones entertained. The resort also offers complimentary kayaking and paddle boarding, which we really enjoyed. My only complaint is the ocean-facing swimming pool. The pool floor is quite rocky and sharp, making it easy to get hurt and uncomfortable to walk on. As others have mentioned, the rooms are a bit dated, but overall the stay was still very enjoyable. The location is another plus-just a quick 15-minute drive from the airport, with plenty of restaurants and activities right across the street.
