Pictures do not do this place justice. We were a bit hesitant to book at first but this has quickly become one of our favorite hotels. The staff is incredibly friendly and will treat you like family. The hotel itself is beautiful and very private. The views and beach are also an amazing experience.

We love this hotel - and are here for the 3rd time. It is almost our home in Thailand... The location and the beach are fantastic. The hotel is older but well maintained and absolutely clean and tidy. It is so beautiful here - and the staff are exceptional. We have tried the hotel's SPA, which is really nice. And breakfast is a treat every time. We cannot think of anything that could improve this hotel. We are already looking forward to our next visit...

Laotou Thinking
- No place to eat at this hotel with air conditioning, fans only - Air conditioning in room broke to which front desk said they would fix post check out. I had to pack in very hot room - TV in room had color distortion - Air conditioning in the gym broke. Gym has old equipment and seems dark, dirty and sweaty - front desk nice but communication below other Marriott location standards - good if you want a quiet beach and like the heat Generally just ok however for the price would advise to check out another hotel option Bonvoy Gold Member

Read the reviews before you book. The photos look amazing but are misleading. In person and up-close it's a completely different experience. From the moment we arrived it was a sour experience. Check-in is 3pm, and I feel like the staff purposely kept us waiting until 3pm on the dot to check us in. They also advised as that we should have booked directly through them and not through an external agent website as we would have a better experience and get a better rate if we booked through them. The hotel is situated with a nice view over the ocean and the gardens are beautiful. However despite this, the rooms are worn, scuffed walls, built-up with dirt and grime. The whole resort needs a complete renovation as it's a dump and does not live up to the 5 star rating. Noisy location next to the road and noisy old air-conditioning. We did not complete our stay here and left early with no-refund. I will never be booking with the Marriott group again.

Despite the late check-in time, everything here is great. Brilliant staff, clean rooms facing the blue sea, a fully equipped 24/7 gym. Good breakfast breakfast with many options. I loved staying here and will definitely come again.
