We had the most amazing stay with our family. This small boutique hotel paid close attention to detail and made our stay with a small child super easy. It had a very relaxed and welcoming vibe from the first day. As lovely as the hotel is, it was the service that truly made our stay wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Jew who looked after us so well at breakfast, remembering our preferences and making each day start well. The biggest thank you to Oom who we felt always went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and engaged so positively with our child he is still talking about her! We cannot wait to book our next holiday at Sala Choengmon. Thank you! 🙏

We stayed five nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and the high level of professionalism shown by every member of the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and always eager to help with anything I needed. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping everything immaculate throughout our visit. The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. The spa and wellness area offered a relaxing escape, and the pool and beach areas were perfectly maintained. The restaurant was exceptional, serving delicious food with fresh ingredients and impeccable presentation. Breakfast was especially amazing, with a wide variety of options that catered to every taste. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better — close to everything, yet quiet and serene. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, it’s the perfect place to stay. Overall, this hotel exceeded all our expectations. Our family just returned from another unforgettable stay at SALA Samui Choengmon, and it was even more magical than we remembered. We first stayed two years ago when our son was 8 months old and had the most amazing experience. Coming back now with our little boy and our 4-month-old daughter, we were blown away all over again. The exceptional experience began even before we arrived. During the booking process, Wee took such wonderful care of us — recommending the perfect room for our family and arranging the cutest little tent bed for our toddler. It was a soft mattress on the floor inside an adorable tent, so he could sleep safely without any chance of falling out. Such a thoughtful touch, and he absolutely loved it. When we arrived, they welcomed us like family. Every staff member, from the driver to the restaurant team, went out of their way to make our children feel special. Even housekeeping surprised our son by creating toys out of palm leaves — something he still talks about. The warmth at SALA is genuine and constant. Walking into SALA feels like leaving every worry and stress at the door. I treated myself to three spa sessions during our stay, and being cared for so attentively was exactly what I needed. During my head massage, I honestly could have curled up in Lalah’s and Kat’s laps — that’s how deeply relaxing and nurturing the experience was. The kindness didn’t end there. One evening, our son fell, and the restaurant staff responded with such sincere care. They immediately cleaned and treated his little wound, then brought him a toy and a stuffed animal to comfort him — all in the middle of a busy dinner service. Their compassion was truly heartwarming. A huge thank you to Wee, Sak, Ann, Oom, Mam, Eaw, Fluke, Jocelyn, Noi, and so many others whose names we didn’t manage to catch. Every one of you made our stay incredibly special. We can’t thank you enough. And one more thing: if any member of the SALA team ever finds themselves in Munich, Germany, we would be absolutely delighted to host them and show our gratitude in person. If we can make it happen, we will definitely be back. Until then, the beautiful memories from SALA Samui Choengmon will carry us through everyday life — a reminder of what genuine hospitality feels like

We stayed at a resort on Samui Island and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and really tried their best. Our villa was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping kept everything in great condition. The outdoor bathroom (bathtub, shower, and toilet) felt a bit strange at first, especially at night, but eventually we got used to it and it actually added a nice tropical touch — and no, nothing jumped on us 😂 The main downside was the restaurant: the food was just okay and the drink selection was quite limited. There’s definitely room for improvement here. Overall, it’s a lovely place with beautiful surroundings and great staff, but the dining experience could be better. 🌴✨

What an amazing place to spend a vacation! I loved everything about it. The rooms, even though they were a bit old (they told us they would be renovated next year), were really nice. They were not five-star rooms, but they were just really nice. I really liked the open toilets and the pool. But I think what really makes this place stand above others is the crazy level of service. The staff is really caring about your experience. Everything you ask, they give 200% effort to make it happen and make sure you're happy. As an example of this exquisite service, we forgot a phone in the room and received an email about it, which I didn't see. So, they pretty much chased us to the airport, waited for us to come out, called us, and did all that just to give the phone back. We were a bit concerned about mosquitoes initially because my wife was very sensitive about them. As soon as we told them about it, they were all over the place with anti-mosquito smoke and nets for our bed, and really just covered us with care and love from beginning to the end. It was just so nice. Of all the hotels I've been to, that's definitely one I would love to go back to. Our child was sick for about 24hrs and I'm not even sure who we told about it. I think we mentioned it to reception, just asking about an option for a doctor—something really minor. Then the whole team was asking us, "How's the child?" the next day and showing real care. It really felt like they somehow knew all their guests, how they were feeling, and what was going on with them. It was amazing! They have dinner events (Thai market/Christmass) that, even though they are expensive (about 3500 BHT per person), are really exquisite and tasty and super tasty - Just imagine a buffet of the best food you saw in Thailand. You probably don't want to do it every day, because of the price but I'm really happy that we also ate dinner there. It was unexpected and unexpectedly good. A special mention goes to their guest experience manager. I think that was her title. She spent like 30 minutes talking to us during one of the breakfasts (about the 3rd season of White Lotus that was filmed nearby) and gave us this really personal feeling that you very rarely get. It really felt like we had a real person to talk to and to ask, and it just filled us with positive feelings. I hope she continues doing it for other guests. The location is great. It's quiet, but at the same time, you're near a street if you walk just 5 minutes and you can go out and do your shopping or dining. Or you can go the other way and enjoy a really beautiful beach. It's just really perfect in every way, really.
