We had the most amazing stay with our family. This small boutique hotel paid close attention to detail and made our stay with a small child super easy. It had a very relaxed and welcoming vibe from the first day. As lovely as the hotel is, it was the service that truly made our stay wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Jew who looked after us so well at breakfast, remembering our preferences and making each day start well. The biggest thank you to Oom who we felt always went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and engaged so positively with our child he is still talking about her! We cannot wait to book our next holiday at Sala Choengmon. Thank you! 🙏

A big shout out to the housekeeping who would deliver everything so quickly. Overall service was excellent and the staff were very attentive and courteous. Spa was excellent but quite expensive. The pool water in the villa as well as outsidede pool was cold to swim. A heated pool option would be great. The water on the beach was usually dirty and not suitable to swim. Some live music in the evenings would make the place more lively and enjoyable. Breakfast has a very good variety but feels repetetive. Overall excellent

We stayed five nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and the high level of professionalism shown by every member of the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and always eager to help with anything I needed. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping everything immaculate throughout our visit. The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. The spa and wellness area offered a relaxing escape, and the pool and beach areas were perfectly maintained. The restaurant was exceptional, serving delicious food with fresh ingredients and impeccable presentation. Breakfast was especially amazing, with a wide variety of options that catered to every taste. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better — close to everything, yet quiet and serene. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, it’s the perfect place to stay. Overall, this hotel exceeded all our expectations. This is by far the best five-star hotel we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and treated exceptionally well. The reception team took the time to show us all the amenities in our room and explained everything we needed to know, which made us feel instantly comfortable. The room was incredibly spacious and spotless. A thoughtful touch was the mosquito repellents provided—we didn’t get a single bite all week. Housekeeping cleaned our room twice a day, and whenever we needed anything, we could simply message through the hotel app and receive an almost immediate response. Everything throughout the hotel was extremely clean, and the robes and slippers always felt fresh. The staff truly made our stay unforgettable, but the hotel itself is also beautiful, comfortable, and very well designed. I especially loved having multiple pillow options and the ability to request so many amenities to be delivered straight to our room. The restaurant service was excellent as well. As a vegetarian, there weren’t many set options on the menu, but the staff were always incredibly flexible and happy to create meals without meat or accommodate any requests straight away. All the staff were consistently smiley, polite, and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was calm and relaxing. The location is slightly away from the busy areas, so there isn’t as much happening in the evenings, but taxis are always available at the entrance and Grab is very easy to use. I personally loved being away from the crowds while still having plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. On the beach there are also so many massage places that are a lot cheaper than the shops. The private pool in our room was amazing and added so much to our experience. Honestly, anything we needed could be sorted instantly with just a message. Even if we were in the room during housekeeping hours, they were happy to come back later in the evening at our convenience. We were absolutely delighted with our stay. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and truly exceptional experience.

We could not recommend this hotel more highly — everything was absolutely perfect. Every member of staff went above and beyond at all times. My husband and I are well travelled, yet we have never experienced service of this standard. We were made to feel truly special throughout our stay, with countless thoughtful touches that made all the difference. A special mention must go to Taweewat, who in our opinion is the perfect example of outstanding management. His attention to detail and commitment to ensuring we were happy were exceptional. He even arranged a room upgrade after noticing that the weather wasn’t suitable for boat trips — a gesture that more than made up for the change in plans. We would also like to thank Oom in the restaurant, whose friendliness and warm welcome made every breakfast a highlight. My husband is coeliac and very sensitive to gluten, and we only had to mention this to Oom once. She immediately ensured that every breakfast was suitable for him and suggested thoughtful alternatives. She also made sure the entire team was aware of his needs, and not once did he have to remind anyone. Each morning he was asked if he would like gluten-free bread, and within just a few days it was clear he could eat with complete confidence, without fear of becoming unwell — something that does not often happen. I ate delicious Thai breakfasts every morning on Ooms recommendations. We will definitely be returning — hopefully next year!
