There are bars, restaurants and cafes a short walk from Sala Samui Resort, and the Choeng Mon Market is about 650m away. The lively centre of Chaweng, with bustling markets and vibrant nightlife is about 5km and easily accessible by taxi. Golfers will love the scenic course at Santiburi Samui Country Club, approximately 13km away. The hotel is also able to arrange a wide range of tours to suit a variety of interests.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay here. The rooms (we had our own pools) are beautiful and spacious with an 'outdoor' bathroom. The location is excellent for the beach which is on the doorstep. The area itself is quiet and laid back compared to other areas of the island but that suited us perfectly. Breakfast was delicious. There was a lovely buffet and a selection of Thai and Western food cooked to order. Their English breakfast (pictured) is a work of art! The best thing about SALA is the customer service. From the moment we arrived I was blown away with the care and attention from all the staff here coupled with genuine warmth. Every single member of the team here was outstanding during our stay. I would like to thank them all but particularly Mr Wee for making our last day so comfortable. Special thanks also to the room service team for the lovely flowers and decorations for our wedding anniversary.

We had a wonderful week stay at SALA Samui Choengmon. Part of the package included a 90min couples massage and it was probably one of the best I've had. Both masseuse were really experienced and understood to massage where the body needed it. The accommodation and the grounds itself is pristine. Comfortable and clean throughout. Service at most of these resorts is almost always exceptional but I would have say to difference with SALA Samui Choengmon, is the service is authentic and genuine. A big shout out to Mam who took note that my partner was feeling unwell and turned up the next morning with some Thai remedies. Food and drink is also exceptional. We had breakfast daily and even after a weeks stay, there was still so many different options. My only feedback would be to make the Thai dishes more authentic. I feel like most travelers now desire local food as it should be.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at SALA Choengmon Beach. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail and the genuine warmth of the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. What stood out most was how wonderfully they treated our four-year-old son. They really made his time here magical and memorable. A special thank you to Wee and Oom, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their kindness and care were truly exceptional. The best hotel I have ever been to! First of all we arrived and got an upgrade to a pool villa (we never asked for an upgrade) - that was so kind and we loved it. Jocelyn was so kind and even informed us about a shuttle by ferry. We came with our 8 month old baby so we could swim in private without long ways. The staff was so kind and helpful, everyone did an amazing job. We got free and fresh purée for our son everyday, they offered that too without us asking. Our son loved the restaurant manager oom, she was so cute and nice (but so was everyone), she came always and asked how he slept and what she can do for us, we felt so welcome. We also loved the food, it was so so good !! We definitely want to come back, since it’s such a personal and private hotel with excellent service. Clean, friendly to family’s with kids and very responsible in all kind of ways. I recommended the Sala to all of my friends whether they are a couple with or without kids. Thank you so much for everything
