From the moment you’re picked up at Samui Airport—possibly one of the cutest airports in the world—you’re greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. I stayed in a Garden Pool Villa, which was perfect: spacious, beautifully designed, and completely private. I am very fussy with pillows and mattresses, which were both great at Explorar. The staff were consistently friendly and incredibly helpful, making every interaction feel effortless. The spa massages with Pu were exactly what I needed—calming, attentive, and deeply relaxing. Breakfast each morning was a delight, with a plentiful buffet offering a great variety of options. All in all, it was a wonderfully peaceful and restorative week. Highly recommended!

From check in, to the late check out (thank you Andrew!), the accommodation, food, cocktails, and staff were all five star. I would actually give 5 more stars if I could. Our stunning room overlooked the ocean, and the complimentary coconut juice (with optional rum shot - fyi get the rum) on arrival was a great welcoming touch. The resort itself is amazing, giant pool with sun basking area, and the restaurant close by. The buffet breakfast is amazing, with a great mix of east and western flavours, all cooked perfectly. 👌 Definitely take advantage of the complimentary cooking classes, the rum tasting (extra thanks to Ivann for his extensive knowledge and mixology skills!). The Muay Thai class was also fun. Thank you Explorar, we will definitely see you again soon!

My husband and I had a lovely experience at Exhale Spa and the Explorar Hotel Koh Samui. The massage by Nee was excellent, the ambience was tranquil and welcoming and the room was the perfect temperature. Loved it from start to finish. The hotel is also fantastic. The service by all the staff is exceptional. I had my birthday during the stay and much to our delight the bed was decorated in flowers with happy birthday wishes and a cake.The rooms are well appointed, the bed comfortable and they are serviced daily - a nice touch. The free activities were also great fun, making your own free cocktails and pizza, what's not to love! We have really enjoyed our stay here and will be back for sure. A special call out to Minn Htet, Ivann, Aung and Game who took great care of us and made our stay very special. Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful stay at Explorar Koh Samui! The service was truly amazing, every staff member was warm, attentive and made us feel so welcome. The cocktails were absolutely lovely, and the food was really nice as well. The entire resort is beautifully maintained, and the attention to detail is remarkable in every corner. Our room was very comfortable, and we loved that the resort offers daily activities you can join for free, such a special touch that made our stay even better. We genuinely enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

We had the most incredible 7-night stay at Explorar, and are already trying to work out when we can come back. The room was clean and welcoming, and the pool was so relaxing and beautiful. The food was divine, and we loved the free classes, including the pizza making class, the cocktail class, and the yoga session. The spa is also wonderful, and the treatments we had were so relaxing. While the hotel is outstanding, the staff here are even better. The service was impeccable, and Rain, Belynda, Alex, Ivann, and Dee Dee went out of their way to make our stay so special. All the staff did really. The meals are HUGE, breakfast is amazing, the coffee is good. We loved every minute and were sad to leave. We were beyond impressed from the second we were picked up at the airport to the moment we checked out.
