We did the Mixology class today. It was a fun experience where we learned a lot about the process of mixing cocktails and the equipment needed. The staff were great helping us & taking photos to remember the event. We are leaving the Explorar today after a wonderful holiday. The food has been excellent but the friendly helpful staff make this hotel. Special mention to De De who went above & beyond organising our reservations and advising us on food options. The bar staff were great fun and very efficient always ready to serve us.

Our whole stay here as been incredible. The staff are all so lovely and attentive. They do a range of free experiences that you can book on to, we were lucky enough to get a space on the pizza making class. The pizzaolas were experts at their job and good teachers. JT did a very good job of talking us through it, and we all came away with a delicious pizza for our lunch. The rooms and general facilities are stunning and very well looked after. Will definitely be back!!

A very nice hotel with friendly and attentive staff. From the very beginning you can feel the attention to detail — the scent of jasmine welcomed us at the reception and was also present in the room, creating a wonderful atmosphere. A big plus is that the hotel is adults-only, which guarantees peace and relaxation. Comfortable pillows and a cozy bed make it easy to sleep really well. Morning meditation, an excellent cooking class, and outstanding breakfasts made with high-quality ingredients, all enjoyed without any rush, create a truly relaxed vibe. It’s also very convenient that you can rent a scooter directly at the hotel. A place we would definitely recommend and love to return to.

Still at the hotel as I wright this review. Have been here 5 nights so far with 10 to go and in my opinion it’s an excellent peaceful retreat. Great location great staff and beautifully kept property. Early morning swims followed with a divine breakfast start each day well. All the staff are great, but a special thank you to Sai at the restaurant who is excellent. The hotel so lucky to have him. Will update review at the end of the holiday. Having now returned home, i can honestly say i've had a fabulous 15 night stay at the Explorer Koh Samu. I hope to return one day in the not too distant future. A big thank you to all the hardworking staff at the hotel whether they be gardeners, housekeeping, or restaurant staff. All are excellent and help to create a really chilled yet professionaly run venue. A special shout out to Yaw, Game and Sai who realy looked after me. Fond memories to cherrish!
