A very nice hotel with friendly and attentive staff. From the very beginning you can feel the attention to detail — the scent of jasmine welcomed us at the reception and was also present in the room, creating a wonderful atmosphere. A big plus is that the hotel is adults-only, which guarantees peace and relaxation. Comfortable pillows and a cozy bed make it easy to sleep really well. Morning meditation, an excellent cooking class, and outstanding breakfasts made with high-quality ingredients, all enjoyed without any rush, create a truly relaxed vibe. It’s also very convenient that you can rent a scooter directly at the hotel. A place we would definitely recommend and love to return to.

We had an excellent time at Explorar from the moment we arrived until we left and cannot recommend it enough! This was the last place we stayed in our holiday in Thailand and really wished we could have stayed there longer. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcomed us with fresh coconut and rum. On our last day after checking out, the staff even arranged a room for us to take a shower before heading to the airport in the evening. The room was spacious and clean with great views. We had snacks with drinks and daily complementary water. The food was great, good variety of dishes and the portions were quite generous. Highly recommend trying the spa. Overall it was an excellent experience and cannot wait to go back!

Explorar Koh Samui is a beautiful, peaceful, adults-only hotel that’s perfect if you’re looking for quiet, relaxation, great service, and very good food. The atmosphere is calm and refined, and overall we were very happy with our stay. One thing worth noting is that the photos can be a bit misleading: while images show a beach, the hotel itself does not have a walkable beach. Instead, there are stairs that allow swim-up access directly into the ocean, and the water on this side of the island is not as nice as on the opposite side of Koh Samui. The hotel is also far from the main areas, so transportation requires some planning. What truly made our stay exceptional was our server, Win. On our first day, we weren’t having the best dining experience, and when she genuinely asked how everything was, we shared our disappointment. From that moment on, she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, even sending dessert to our room and consistently checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. She completely changed our experience and is the main reason we would come back. Win is outstanding and truly deserves to be in a management role. That is my honest opinion hope this review helps.

Lovely staff, nice enough room. Beach is inaccessible during high tide, meaning around a 15 minute walk into town and back again to access the beach. Decent food and has a vegan menu. However, when ordering from the vegan menu we were still served dairy twice. And, while the pasta is on the vegan menu, it contains egg. Lots of activities. I did the rum tasting with Harry which was great. The cocktails I made were amazing and he was very interesting. I actually was the only one who signed up so Harry made me an extra cocktail for free. I also took the Thai language class which was a lot of fun and Bee was a great teacher

My stay at Explorar was overall enjoyable. The highlights of this hotel are excellent service - Win is one of the best staff and made our stay more pleasant. The food at the restaurant is fantastic, however they only have one restaurant so choices are a bit limiting. The negative thing is, the location is somewhat remote, if you like things to do, you need a ride to everywhere. I wish this hotel had more options to different locations. The spa is mid, their signature massage should be something else, because it wasn’t really anything special. Also, there is no real beach access to lie there (however, you can still jump in the ocean). Overall, I would recommend staying in this hotel if you want a peaceful vacation and staying at the resort.
