We had an excellent experience at the hotel. Our beach-facing room offered stunning views and was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The facilities were top-notch, and the staff was exceptionally polite and attentive throughout our stay. The food at Fishtales was delicious, and the team’s care in managing food allergies was truly appreciated. My daughter especially enjoyed her time at the Child Play Area with Bella, doing drawing, coloring, mask-making, and doughnut-making. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, great hospitality, and scenic views.

Garrya Tongsai Bay Hotel is the perfect place to unwind if you’re looking for peace, privacy, romantic or family vacation, cinematic views and space. Our villa was secluded and very spacious, which made our stay feel incredibly relaxing and exclusive. The hotel is set on a private bay with its own beach, which makes the experience feel even more special and serene. The overall design of the resort is both beautiful and unique, blending seamlessly with the lush natural surroundings and adding to the feeling of being in a hidden paradise. We had a few issues with our room upon check-in, but the manager, Nok, went above and beyond to assist us. She was kind, attentive, and made sure everything was resolved to our satisfaction. Her support truly made a difference in our experience. Breakfast was consistently excellent, delicious food with great variety, and the service was always warm and welcoming. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and eager to help. We definitely recommend this hotel and will surely return.

We have just returned from 10 nights at Tongsai Bay and what can I say. A truly fabulous hotel set in a gorgeous secluded bay. Food was amazing in all restaurants every single day. Staff were absolutely incredible and nothing was too much trouble. Some evening entertainment spread out during the week but If you want to go out for a change of scene, then a short taxi ride away there are plenty of places to visit. The spa treatments and massages are amazing too. We stayed in a Beachfront Villa which was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the beach, sea, pool and beach bar. On leaving the hotel all the reception staff stood outside and waved us off which was just an example of the simple touches the hotel does which makes it extra special. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about booking and we will definitely be going back. Garrya Tongsai Bay you are a little gem and all the staff are a credit to the management team. Best-ever resort experience. The spacious and well-maintained grounds and setting are one-of-a-kind spectacular. As the oldest upscale resort on Samui, it's a large and magnificent site. Facilities have been updated, and it's a sweet combination of vintage charm and modern comfort. If you desire to immerse yourself in a natural, private, serene environment, this is the place, with opportunities for daily activities and exploration as well as relaxation and contemplation.The resort has from the start been environmentally conscious, and we admired its many sustainabiility practices. (Tour their busy organic gardens). Second-to-none breakfast buffet, and we enjoyed many other very fine meals at their restaurants. Beautiful clean pools and private beach. Our hillside suite spacious and comfortable. All that being said, it's the gracious and genuine charm and attention from every single staff member-- all day, every day--that makes Tongsai Bay truly special. We felt cared for and attended to at every turn. Kudos and thanks to Pear, Lalita, Donut, Nan, Nat and others at reception, Kookik, Fah, Su, Sai, Ying, Reen, Pu, Nine, Carlo and others at the restaurants. Pla, Keng, and M at the pool and beach, Kawfeng, Bassy, Fern, and Soi at the relaxing spa, and Mark and Manuel steering the ship. And many others in housekeeping, security, and transport. We got to know couples visiting for their 8th and 10th times, respectively. That says enough right there.

A great island escape 🌴 I really love the nature around this hotel. It’s a beautiful mix of mountain views with trees and wildlife, together with the sea and a quiet private beach — the perfect place for true relaxation. The service is excellent, breakfast has so many options, plus a bar with healthy juices and fresh tropical fruits. They even have gluten-free bread and plant-based milk, which is great for health lovers. One of the highlights for me was doing a sound healing class by the beach — such a unique experience! Most importantly, the hotel really cares about the environment and sustainability. I especially loved their creative lemongrass straws. Overall, I was super impressed and would definitely come back.
