We checked into our room early so that way we could enjoy the waterpark the rest of the day once we were checking in and unpacking the car. I wanted to turn the TV on for my little one to watch TV and the TV was broken. We called right away to get it serviced. It took them an hour to show up and they still weren't able to fix it. I told him just forget it we'll have to do it another time. We're already late to get to the park then we come back and the microwave wasn't working. And the AC was leaking condensation on floor. Plus, my daughter's feet were black after walking around for 20 minutes, Floors aren't very clean. I spoke to the head manager named Ryan and he gave me waterpark tickets that expired, and it was rainy the rest of the weekend. And offered to take off 100$ ..... Still didn't make up for what we had to deal with at 400$ a night .......what should've happened is we should've gotten An extra day at the cabin at no cost or waterpark tickets that don't expire( being that I don't control the weather. ) Overall, our experience felt stressed and manger didn't seem to cared My advice is to definitely check everything in the cabin before you unload everything / kids. And guess you will have to wait for a new room or you will wait around until someone possibly fixes things. Isn't that something you wanna do on vacation wait around so your appliances and everything in the room can get cleaned !!!! ....isn't that stuff supposed to be done before you check in? That's what I thought.!! Overall the room and resort is 2star - the bigger space , kitchen and bathroom is a nice feature to bad we really wanted to love the cabins and come back as we visit twice a year. But I can't recommend this at all !! Stay else where

We stayed here recently overnight during the Halloween season. It’s a huge treat to be able to go around and see all the lighting displays. The campground is very large and extremely well-maintained. The cabins were absolutely amazing. We love how they renewed (replaced) them with new cabins recently. Very exciting grounds to spend some time on and more fun with the golf cart!

Beautiful, spacious, updated one bedroom with bunk beds and comfortable Murphy bed. The surrounding is forest like, quiet and remote. It's a place to get away from the hectic daily life. Apparently pets are allowed... Disney has lived up to its name. The cabin is just gorgeous surrounded by different pretty, color cabins. We love it! You've got to try!

We have stayed at Coronado, Port Orleans French Quarter, Port Orleans Riverside, Saratoga Springs, Animal Kingdom Lodge and now the cabins at Fort Wilderness and all I can say is that THIS is our FAVORITE stay of them all! The cabins allow for privacy, there is plenty of room, and they are kept in pristine shape. We were able to rent bicycles and ride throughout the grounds where we felt safe, welcomed and every area was quaint and quiet. We enjoyed the stables and interacting with the horses and also took advantage of taking the boat over to Magic Kingdom. They are in the process of building a pretty large DVC hotel however so there is construction around the boat ramp and settlement. We were not able to walk from wilderness lodge to fort wilderness however, there is a bus that we took that run to and from both. We loved staying here at the cabins so much that we are excited to book our next mini vacation at the cabins again! What a great experience - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great place. Brand new cabins. Refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, pots, pans, eating utensils, cups etc. Murphy bed, queen bed and bunk beds. Will sleep 6 to 10. Patio with barbecue. Cost is not cheap. 550 a night average plus you should rent a golf cart at 75 a night.
