My extended family came here for a getaway and we had a great time. A highlight for my four year-old was the kids club - my daughter called it “beach school.“ she loved the kids swim time, the daytime, activities, and the dance party stuff at night. I was expecting to have to talk her into going, but she had a blast with the staff - Ali, Rubi, Ale, Maria, and Ari. I may have forgotten one of them, but I could probably ask my daughter and she would remember. I think the reason this was a highlight for me was because I was not expecting to use this service and it ended up being so great. The service was excellent and the entire hotel was exceptionally clean, especially given that there are so many children here. Although the hotel seemed relatively full, we did not have trouble getting chairs at the pool or tables at the restaurant. Several of my family members is the spa services and that also received high praise. The hotel went to a lot of trouble to check in and make sure that we were happy and enjoying the stay. I can only think of two things that would have made the experience more perfect. First, the restaurants were not very well air-conditioned (it was very hot in Cancun at the time). Second, The people in the lobby selling services that the hotel offers like spa and timeshares, etc were a little too aggressive for my liking- Sometimes I felt like I was being hunted. All in all a fabulous vacation with a lot of wonderful people!

We had a wonderful stay at Sunscape Resort in Cancun, and it turned out to be the perfect choice for a family-friendly getaway. The resort strikes a great balance—fun and lively without being a non-stop party scene. Unlike some other Cancun spots, the crowd here was relaxed and respectful. We didn’t have to worry about overly drunk guests, which made it super comfortable for our whole family to enjoy the pools, beach, and dining areas. One of the biggest highlights was the value. Sunscape is very budget-friendly, especially considering the quality of the food and service. The meals were consistently good with lots of variety, and the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. While the rooms were a bit outdated, they were clean and spacious, and everything functioned as expected. Honestly, we didn’t spend much time in the room, and the overall experience more than made up for the dated decor. The pools also could have been larger, but our kids loved it! From what I’ve heard, they are going through a renovation coming up soon so looking forward to the updates they will be doing, they are now owned by Hyatt

My Family and I stayed here for a week and honestly I would go back with no hesitation. The hotel staff was beyond exceptional. From room service, to the restaurants, to the entertainment staff just everything was worth every penny! The atmosphere here is just amazing! I do want to highlight 3 of the Entertainment employees Ari, Ali and Francisco (Pancho) have a VERY special place in my heart! If you are looking for a family friendly resort who has kid activities throughout the day look no further I promise you you won't regret it!

We had an amazing family vacation at Sunscape Resort Spa, where I also celebrated my 50th birthday! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and there were so many fun activities for all ages—fitness, dancing, and even turtle watching at night! Loved our walk-out room. Only downside: the shampoo/conditioner should have been better quality and a few services were overpriced. Still, a fantastic, kid-friendly resort I’d happily return to! A big thank you to the wonderful staff for making our stay so special—you were kind, attentive, and truly made my birthday unforgettable!

The room we stayed had no elevator, was not told when booked. Some drunk people vomited in the pool, and no one seemed to care. None of the restaurants was decent. The Asian restaurant, the dishes were all microwaved, except for the sushi rolls. The buffet, the hot dishes were not hot and the cold dishes were not cold. The Mediterranean restaurant, food was decent, but the services were extremely slow. The server had attitude, when I got my beef bone soup, it was cold, and he took my drink before it was finished. The only good thing about the resort is the bar, the services were always quick and friendly. Won't be coming back for sure.
