The programme consists of meals and beverages service 24 hours a day, with breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks served at a wide variety of restaurants and bars. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served throughout the day (except during meal times).

Great Family Stay in Cancun – A Few Bumps, but Worth It! Spent 5 days at the Seams Hotel in Cancun with the familia, and overall it was a good experience. The location is a major plus—just a short walk to the bus stops, which made it super easy to get around without needing a car. The beaches nearby? Absolutely beautiful—clear water, soft sand, postcard-worthy views. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food had decent variety, though I did get some indigestion from a couple of dishes—nothing major, but worth noting if you’ve got a sensitive stomach. Still, the family found something to enjoy at each meal, so no one went hungry. All in all, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Not 5-star luxury, but solid and family-friendly. Would consider staying again, especially for the beach access and convenience.

This was a second time staying at this resort and we enjoyed every second of it! We had a fast- VIP check-in experience. Great and prompt service; staff is friendly and courteous. Beautiful amenities, amazing views, and great room services on daily basis. Many great restaurants to choose from, offering delicious specialties! Our favorite was The White Box, although the coffee place was also delightful. Resort is well kept, and we have seen many improvements since the last time we stayed here seven years ago! Entertainment was ok, Our kids enjoyed a supervised kids club, with many kids activities, and opportunity for parents to relax and enjoy adults-only amenities. The only downside was the beach area; overcrowded and lacks lounges and chairs. Rooms could also use some updates, especially pillows and showers in the bathroom. Overall our stay was amazing!

My stay at Hotel Sens was a complete disappointment, especially for families with children. Despite being advertised as family-friendly, the hotel was overcrowded, with a packed pool that was unusable. By 5 PM, intoxicated guests created an unsafe, party-like atmosphere—hardly suitable for kids. The all-inclusive dining was a nightmare: long queues, no available restaurant reservations, and we were forced to pay 1800 pesos for a seafood grill just to eat. The rooms were unclean, with sticky beds, adding to the discomfort. We left after one night. This hotel does not deliver on its promises, and I strongly advise families to look elsewhere. Management needs to address these issues and stop misleading guests about the family-friendly experience.

Overall, I’d say the resort is pretty mid. They clearly bring in enough money to invest in upgrades and upkeep, but unfortunately, that just isn’t happening. We stayed on the Sens side, which is supposed to be a slight upgrade from the Grand Oasis—but honestly, it wasn’t anything to rave about. The beds were extremely hard, and we woke up uncomfortable most mornings. What really stood out—negatively—was the food. Both my mother and my husband came down with food poisoning that lasted over 24 hours. I was extra cautious with what I ate since I’m pregnant, and thankfully avoided getting sick myself, but we weren’t the only ones. Throughout the week, we heard multiple people complain about being sick. In fact, my husband and another woman ate the same meal one night and were both bedridden the next day. He actually ended up sleeping on the bathroom floor because he was so ill. To be honest, I personally struggled to eat at all during our stay. The food looked unappetizing, and it was hard to stomach knowing how long a lot of it had clearly been sitting out—especially at the buffets. It’s disturbing when things like seafood, cheese, and deli meats are just left out for who knows how long in a warm environment. It made it really hard to trust or enjoy anything. Like I mentioned before, our bathtub had mold growing on the sides—and when we first arrived, there were stickers stuck on the wall from previous guests. That alone says a lot about how quickly and poorly the rooms are cleaned. It’s so disappointing because this resort could be amazing. But with the amount of money they’re making per family, there’s really no excuse for the poor quality of food, lack of proper cleanliness, and outdated rooms and beds. We came to Mexico excited for good Mexican food, and we didn’t even get a single taco—seriously! Now for the positives: the Sens pool was probably our favorite part of the whole stay. The coffee shop was also a nice touch—it had some fresh, yummy treats and ice cream that we enjoyed. I know this is repetitive, but if you’re questioning whether or not to stay here because of the mixed reviews—trust your gut and book somewhere else. This was our first time booking a resort without a travel agent, and we’ll never make that mistake again. We usually love to revisit places we’ve stayed at, but this one is absolutely off our list and we would never recommend it to anyone

The hotel entryway was beautiful. It led to a false sense of expectation on the modernity of our room. The room was very old. It had chipped floors and very odd odor. Musty and moldy sort of smell. The water had an unpleasant odor as well. My wife didn’t mind it but it bothered me. The staff were fantastic. Everyone was attentive and kind. That was not issue. We were disappointed in how aggressive the sales people were in the hotel. If you’ve ever been to the D.R. in some hotels they’ll have booths set up with people camped out to sell you excursions. We fell for that in the Dominican but not in Mexico. When they finally realized we were not interested they left us alone. We didn’t realize when we booked the room it was connected to another hotel. After walking through the lobby of the other facility we got the sense the hotel was much nicer. That’s only an assumption based on the amenities available in the lobby. I can only assume the rooms were upgraded as well. The buffets were good. The contained a lot of variety. I believe anyone could find something to eat. We didn’t get sick from the buffets. We both ran into issues when we made reservations for the stand alone restaurants in the complex. My wife fell ill after eating a steak and I fell ill after eating shrimp and two different restaurants. She was sick while we were still on vacation where I made it home before I was out down for two days. In photos I want to highlight the beauty so I don’t solely focus on the negatives. We experienced Cancun and I don’t think we will go back. On to the next.
