A few things make me decide to give a 2 star rating. Expecting a lot from a 5 Star Sheraton Hotel as a Platinum Elite member.
1. Water bottle refills are frequently missing from the room, more than half of the time during my 8 nights stay.
2. The floor towel is frequently out of the stock hence I need to use a face towel.
3. Club Lounge is not in a buffet format but you have to be sited and wait to be served. This supposed to work great but execute extremely poor when the lounge just a bit full. I entered the lounge during happy hour on April 19th. I was ignored ever since I entered the lounge table area and whoever I talked to at least 3 different waiters, I am always asked to wait. It is hard to believe this is not about RACE because I am the only Asian at that time and the Westerners entered later than me have received service immediately. This is not the first bad encounter at this lounge , and it is easy to make an excuse with "we are just very busy" but it is not convincing and impossible to share understanding if you let your guest hang there for 15 minutes and observe you serve everyone else.
4. Most of the rooms doesn't really have the view but instead facing of the inner side of the building.
The location is great to access the city and the airport.

Perfect hotel.
The location is close enough to downtown, without being in the middle of all the noise and traffic.
Rooms are spacious, modern, spotless and very quiet.
The staff are very friendly and the service is top tier.
The price for the room is relatively affordable for it being a public holiday.
Would definitely stay again.

This was my first visit to Dubai and they made my life a living hell. This is the worst experience I ever had from a hotel.
I really don't know who gave them this five star , they are really not even worth a single star. The reception people were very rude and discriminating as if we have come to stay for free. If you r looking for a place to get humiliated, I would highly recommend this hotel as they would do it so beautiful and for free.
They made my stay so horrible that I wouldn't come back to Dubai ever again.
I think certain staffs have their masters in humiliation.
But some of the staff were really helpful and sweet while others were just simply jerks.
The food was good with lot of options.
Please don't book your stay here.

Had to stay here alone unexpectedly due to the flood and even though the circumstances were less than ideal, the hotel and food was wonderful and especially the staff was kinder, more courteous and helpful than I could have asked for. Every person I interacted with made my stay better - they helped me try and solve my travel issues and gave me all sorts of insights and tips for the hotel and the city. I was able to keep the names of Hiral, Richard and the Concierge Aasim. Thank you so much!

Sublime environment for confidential business. The mood is chilled and the personnel have outstanding etiquette. Room service is incredible. Highly recommend for the business traveller. We all love a little bit of fun so dont be shy to check out the 53rd floor 😆.
