first i want to say how beautiful the resort and location were! the staff and everyone were so accommodating. the resort is very clean, my room was constantly cleaned. me and my husband got married here and it was the best place and resort to do it! it’s was just us two! the wedding team was absolutely phenomenal! my day was so wonderful! thank you for making my day so perfect and special!
another great thing i loved was they are very accommodating if you have any food allergies! they made me a gluten free pizza it was so delicious! overall the food and service were 10/10
the only thing i have to say is the rooms need to be a little more modernized but otherwise 10/10 overall! and will definitely come back!! thank you again!!

This was our first trip to a Sandals Resort. We heard this one was the best one and we are glad that we chose this one as we now know not to waste our time or money going to any of their other resorts.
We went with friends and called when we booked the rooms to see if we could get rooms that were close to each other. We were assigned rooms that were on opposite ends of the resort.
Our room was Ocean View which meant that we had a view of the lawn, a fence, the street and the ocean across the street. Our end of the resort was next to a public beach and we could hear the cars and their loud boom boxes so well that it would vibrate the glass doors on our room all hours of the day and night.
Our room was supposed to have a four poster bed but the posts were missing. On four days out of our ten days stay we had to call to get our room cleaned after returning to the room to get ready for dinner. If the room was cleaned, they usually did not sweep the floor, clean the bathroom, or wipe down the desk and dressers. Several days we had to go without washcloths. Our coffee was not restocked and promises to restock it went unfulfilled. And imagine our astonishment to find two pineapple stickers on our glass doors when we first arrived.
Maintenance at the resort is lacking. The hallway walls are badly dinged up from luggage and maid carts hitting the walls. The light in the pool near the pool bar was hanging by a thread the entire ten days we were there. No one bothered to repair it. I went to enter one of the other pools only to find the second step on the ladder was broken and the pool itself was murky.
We found at least half the employees to be rude and disengaged. We were treated like they were not happy we were there. The service was so slow. You could wait twenty minutes at the pool bar to get a drink. They will avoid eye contact at all costs. We went to one restaurant with a 6:30pm reservation and our food wasn't brought out until 8:30pm. We were walking trying to find one of the restaurants and saw two employees pushing a laundry cart.. my husband called out to them to get directions and they ignored him, I called out "Ma'am" and we heard the gentleman tell the lady "that's for you" they both laughed, kept walking and never looked back.
While in the lobby checking out we saw two other people speaking with management voicing their complaints.
This was a very disappointing trip.

Our honeymoon at Sandals Grande St. Lucian was a mixed experience, with both highs and lows.
Starting with the positives, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. We felt welcomed at all times, and their friendliness truly made a difference. The resort was also very clean, with the room being cleaned multiple times a day. It was well-maintained overall, and we were impressed that our feet were never dirty even after walking around in sandals! Additionally, the water sports were a lot of fun, and we enjoyed the various activities available to us.
However, there were some notable downsides that affected our stay. The beds were uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's rest, and the bathroom had a strong, unpleasant odor that never seemed to go away. To make matters worse, during a stormy day, our room started leaking, which caused some concern.
As for the food, it was hit-or-miss. We loved Soy, Bombay, and Barefoot by the Sea — these were definitely highlights of our trip. However, we weren’t impressed with Gordon’s and Kimono, both of which lacked the wow factor we were hoping for, especially considering the reputation of these restaurants.
The entertainment was another letdown. It felt very low-budget, and after a couple of experiences, we decided to skip the rest of the week’s events, as they didn’t seem engaging enough.
Lastly, the drinks at the bars seemed watered down, which was disappointing for an all-inclusive resort.
All in all, while there were some great moments, including the friendly staff and certain delicious meals, there were enough issues with comfort, maintenance, and entertainment to keep me from giving it a higher rating. I’d give this resort 3 stars — it was enjoyable, but not without its challenges.

This was our first Sandals stay and it won't be our last. A gorgeous setting, beautifully manicured gardens, friendly staff, and lots to do nearby. Swimming was great thanks to a gradual beach and no significant undertow. Glad we stayed in a room with a garden view as we could watch the surf on the Atlantic from our balcony and were away from noise near the main pool. Musicians were very talented and we enjoyed the dancers. So much to do. Golf course exceeded our expectations. I got my phone wet when I was sprayed by a wave at the Atlantic side so I asked for a plastic bag and some rice from a female staff member at the Italian restaurant. She brought me a box and 2 bowls of rice to dry it out - more than I expected! Staff were great. It was fun to be around so many happy young honeymoon couples too.

The people of St. Lucia are amazing. The tour guides we had are the absolutely the best. They were not from the resort. The resort staff are amazing but the office workers are not. The resort advertises that it has all the water sports. What they leave out is that if the ocean has ANY waves they won’t let you take out their equipment. I asked why. It wasn't even for your safety it was so there equipment doesn’t get damaged. Well they have sail boats and you need wind to drive a sail boat…. What else happens when it’s windy… waves happen. So you can’t use anything when it’s not perfect seas. This policy for water sports is restricted to the most incapable person abilities. You can use an anything, not a paddle board or a kayak. Then on top of all of it. They just try to sell you diving when they won’t let you go out. Then they tell you to take a bus to the other resorts. That’s fine the bus doesn’t come till 11, the activities are first come first served. So when you get to the other resorts everything is taken or there’s no openings… When you go to the manager about it all they can is a 1 foot swell is dangerous… and that you can buy a private transfer to the other resorts if you want to leave earlier then 11 when they days half over. Don’t come here unless you just want to get drunk at the bar and eat.
