A Memorable Family Getaway at Royalton Negril, Jamaica Thank you to Mario, the General Manager, and his incredible team at Royalton Negril for an unforgettable family vacation. From the moment we arrived with check-in at Diamond Club, everything was seamless, quick and relaxing. One of our favorite memories was lounging in a beach cabana and floating in the calm ocean waters with my 4-year-old daughter—pure tranquility. The resort grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with a trolley service available if you prefer not to walk, though the scenic views make the strolls very enjoyable. Our room was always impeccably clean, and our butler, Daron, was exceptional. He comes with a gracious and positive attitude daily; was attentive, detail-oriented, always punctual, and truly elevated our experience with his outstanding service. Highly recommend to ask for Daron as your butler (if heʻs available as heʻs highly sought out with VIPʻs). Dining was a treat, with the buffet offering the best variety for our family’s tastes. The option to dine indoors with air conditioning was a welcome touch. Having lunch in our cabana was the ultimate treat! The kids’ playhouse and splash pad were a hit with our little one, and the various pools offered something for everyone. Birthday celebrations at the resort were special and thoughtfully done. We’re incredibly grateful for the warm hospitality and top-tier service. Royalton Negril is the perfect place to unwind, make memories, and enjoy Jamaica’s natural beauty.

Me and wifey recently had the pleasure of staying at the Royalton Negril Resort, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and valued, setting the tone for what would be a fantastic vacation. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with warm smiles from the reception team who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered from the concierge to the cleaning crew displayed exceptional professionalism and friendliness. It was evident that they were genuinely invested in providing top notch service. The resort itself is beautiful, with pristine beaches and stunning ocean views. The amenities are fantastic, whether you’re lounging by the pool, enjoying a drink at the bar, or dining at one of the several exquisite restaurants. The food was a highlight, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes. Entertainment options were plentiful I did mostly inside but I know it was great as my fellow friends speak about it. Overall, my experience at Royalton Negril was outstanding, and it was largely due to the incredible staff who made every moment special. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway with exceptional service!

We stayed at Royalton Negril and Hideaway Negril in May 2025 & it was an excellent experience right across the board! Great, helpful and friendly team members. The food was tasty and nice variety. Special shout out to the vibe team and especially the gym. It was clean and well equipped. Andre O & Jovie from the gym were the best! Giving great instruction, guidance and advice. Highly recommended resort!

Disappointing Vow Renewal Stay I hosted my 10-year vow renewal at Royalton Negril with about 30 guests across 14 rooms, bringing over $50,000 in revenue—and the experience fell far short of expectations. I usually stay at Sandals, where the service is exceptional. This was my first time choosing a different all-inclusive, and I regret it. My Penthouse Jacuzzi Suite lacked basic amenities—no liquor, mini-bar not restocked, and the jacuzzi was filthy, broken, and unusable. The elevator near our suite looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. My 80-year-old mother-in-law wasn’t moved from a hot room until the next day. Our wedding welcome dinner was held in stifling heat due to broken fans. When a downpour hit after our ceremony, there were no umbrellas, no carts, and no help—we were left to fend for ourselves. On departure day, no one showed up for our luggage as promised, and we had to carry it ourselves. Shoutout to Thalia and Tamar, the wedding coordinators, who truly tried their best despite the broader service failures. I strongly advise against booking this resort for any special occasion.

This resort is an hour and a half away from the Montego Bay airport if you have private transportation, if you're on a bus with people from other resorts it takes over 3 hours after you stop at everyone on the way. The food was not that great in the buffet and we were only able to get reservations at one restaurant and we had diamond club with a butler. I was VERY disappointed. We did have good food when we ordered from the beach while in our rented cabana. If you rent a cabana and want to use your resort credit, make sure to tell them ahead of time and keep proof (text etc) or they will charge full price when you check out. We had a swimout suite in building 2. The water was cold and we had no sun but I'm sure it's because we visited the last week of February. When we checked in I mentioned to my butler the missing light above the tub in the middle of our room with exposed wires and was assured maintenance would take care of it. It in fact was not. THERE ARE NO WATER SPORTS as advertised at this resort! Free kayak, paddleboard were one of the reasons we chose this resort. Bottom line, this was the worst Royalton we've ever stayed in. We will not return. It's definitely NOT a five star resort.
