We just returned from a week at Azul and had the best time! Our room had a beautiful ocean view from the balcony and we loved to rest out there on the lounger pod. Whether you love the local flavors or are looking for something a bit more common like cheeseburgers, pizza and pasta, there’s always lots to enjoy. If we tried something and didn’t care for it, we tried something else and kept our vacation moving. 7 mile beach is the best beach we’ve found in all our travels and those sunsets bring us back time and time again! What really makes this place though is the staff. KerryAnn and Indera made the best drinks. Marion, Kerriann, Rita and so many others made us feel welcome and cared for at meals times. Cheryl provided one of the best massages I’ve ever had at the spa (this is my second visit to Azul and second massage with her - HIGHLY recommend). Jermaine, our concierge, checked in on us every day and was a wonderful host and guide. This was a return trip for us so we were excited to reconnect with so many amazing people, including the warm smile and kind heart of Roxanne. If you’re hesitant based on others feedback, I encourage you to give this place a try, we have grown to love the people of Jamaica and this resort will give you the feel of the heart of this great place.

This is a nice resort, but it is no longer equivalent to 5 star resorts, certainly not within the Karisma chain. It's too bad this is priced as a top tier resort, because it just isn't anymore. We are Prestige members and traveled as a group of 5 and had two rooms, both swim outs. Both rooms, and honestly most of the resort, is tried and in need of updates and maintenance. The resort has an excellent beach set and uppst time is spent there and in the ocean. The staff is extremely friendly. We had excellent butlers, Dwayne and Marklan. The beach butler Travis always went above and beyond. With only two specialized restaurants open (plus the buffet), the food choices felt limited. Again, a let down for this price. We booked a private boat tour by Capt Sheldon (look up Taviah's Glass Bottom Boat Tour) and it was an amazing experience. He should get acknowledgement from the resort for doing such a good job for their guests.

Overall, considering they just had a hurricane three months prior, it was a fantastic experience. The rooms and facilities were setup perfectly for a beachside resort. Overall the staff is amazing. They need to be very careful with the pool side bar staff, they had two with poor attitudes, those kinds of employees can be a cancer. The shining star for me was Hycinth in the breakfast restaurant. She is a wizard with eggs. I have had so many poor over easy eggs in my life...hers were perfection every time, prepared with care and served up with genuine appreciation and grace.

Staff were very friendly. Nurse was helpful when I got stung by jellyfish. Massage by Melinda was wonderful. Rayon was the best for yoga, at the gym utilizing all the exercise equipment and teaching aqua size. Special mention to Tio for being very approachable and getting people to participate in the various activities. Shamoya was so friendly and always trying to make our stay more enjoyable

The resort is located on what I would consider the best part of Seven Mile Beach, and the beach itself is absolutely spectacular. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which definitely enhances the overall experience. That said, the resort is in need of a complete renovation. The property feels worn and dated, which takes away from what could otherwise be a standout stay. While there are good food options available, the quality of the food itself is mediocre. If you’re primarily coming for the beach and friendly service, this resort delivers. However, if you’re looking for luxury accommodations or a destination-worthy dining experience, this likely isn’t the right fit.
