This is a nice resort, but it is no longer equivalent to 5 star resorts, certainly not within the Karisma chain. It's too bad this is priced as a top tier resort, because it just isn't anymore. We are Prestige members and traveled as a group of 5 and had two rooms, both swim outs. Both rooms, and honestly most of the resort, is tried and in need of updates and maintenance. The resort has an excellent beach set and uppst time is spent there and in the ocean. The staff is extremely friendly. We had excellent butlers, Dwayne and Marklan. The beach butler Travis always went above and beyond. With only two specialized restaurants open (plus the buffet), the food choices felt limited. Again, a let down for this price. We booked a private boat tour by Capt Sheldon (look up Taviah's Glass Bottom Boat Tour) and it was an amazing experience. He should get acknowledgement from the resort for doing such a good job for their guests.

My stay at Azul Resorts Jamaica was absolutely amazing. Everything was perfect — the service, food, and overall atmosphere exceeded my expectations. I traveled alone but truly felt at home and surrounded by family. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made my stay so comfortable. The resort is beautiful, clean, and incredibly relaxing. This was exactly the getaway I needed, and I will definitely be back! Highly recommend! 🌴✨

I had the Unfortunate opportunity to meet with the GM Axel Paeckel I believe. The resort was at less than 20% occupancy. Yes I know a hurricane happened but most issues were not related. The pool bars close at 5 pm and the pool swim up bars are nicer than the main bar by the pool. Why not keep one Bar open so people gravitate towards it. I found out the low occupancy rate when they offered me an upgrade. I got the best room nevertheless and not the most expensive. It was in the best location-The food was terrible, it’s a beautiful place but the food was inedible. The mgr was an arrogant European whose nose was as high up in the air as the smell of urine drifts throughout the streets of Paris . It’s Jamaica I broke the rules and smoked on my balcony- Gimme a break! They had to bring in locals to fill the resort. The GM needs to chill! The employees seemed so scared always and I can tell they don’t feel comfortable- I can’t wait to return to the Jewel when it opens next year. I met the GM B she saw me limping carrying food to my room and offered to help. I have massive nerve damage and told you’re GM and also his mangers knew. I guess everyone thought I always impaired. He needs to be retrained in customer service. He looks so uptight/ It’s Jamaica! And as far as security. Yes I saw plenty of security but the front glass doors on the Honeymoon Ste are super flimsy. A guy could be on the beach and in less then a minute break the lock. It didn’t even have a deadbol- My door was broken and fixed the next day. I’m hoping his area supervisor will reach out to me. I don’t know who Axel is but will do more research

I had a great time. I was here to relax more than having fun and that I did. The building I stayed in was very quiet which allows me to get the rest I needed. The food was alright because I am not a foodie. The drinks service was amazing. The bartenders were friendly and professional. The ladies at Mahagony restaurant were very warm and friendly as well.

The staff at the front desk was phenomenal…. The customer service team was A+ especially Shyanne Also, the ones who helped us at every restaurant on the property. They were also phenomenal. The food was not up to par if I’m being honest. Location was perfect. I understand that the island had just FaceTime serious hurricane but to open back the property ask for more money, but then get a dirty room upon arrival simple cleaning, simple wiping on a table simple wiping down the soaps come on the showers that has nothing to do with hurricane. simple cleanliness was not uphill now again I should say this the staff Where at the front desk and everyone who is working at the restaurant on the properties
