We have been to this resort multiple times, the staff is wonderful as always! They are always willing to help with whatever needs you may have. The issues that are really upsetting are the cut of staff, causing many events and resturants to be closed. This resort boasts its many restaurants and we end up in a buffet line.......I'm expecting a certain level of vacation for the money payed. When I walk over to the buffet.. I almost loose a toe due to the decking literally disintegrating. Wich is another issue, I mainly point blame to the hotel not spending money to upkeep the facilities. I say this because the shrubbery, the beach, the grass everything that the workers "can" maintain looks excellent. Large items like the decking, fixing rot areas on the hotel room exteriors. Another issue is fresh fruit is scarce, alcohol items and mixers are limited. On top of all of this I used this vacation to show my mother Jamaica for the fist time. Overall the staff is amazing but the decline of the all of the other things make me rethink where we will spend our next vacation. I wasn't sure on posting this but Shyaine from the resort asked that we would write an honest review.

Amazing beach. Lovely pools. I wish the food had more variety. Food was probably a 3/5 Room was okay. Dated but okay. Bathroom equipment showed signs of rust. No hot water in the room we stayed in and also a few of the drinks in the mini fridge were expired. Staff at the resort are more friendly to foreigners of a different skin color or who have an accent and that is unfortunate. There were a few persons from the buffet staff who were extremely friendly to us once they realized we were locals and made our experience better. Only one specialty restaurant is open at night plus the buffet. Entertainment was good also. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this resort to locals. For this price better resorts can be found. But if you’re a visitor it will be the perfect resort for you.

The resort/location was absolutely gorgeous. The beach is beyond beautiful. Davita was our personal butler, and we cannot say enough about her. She made our vacation a once in a lifetime event! She was attentive to our every need. She greeted us every day with a smile on her face and cheerfulness that was contageous. She was amazing!!!!! Alison was an amazing chef. The private meal was superb and the intimate setting in the Italian restaurant they arranged for us was beyond our expectations. The entire service was excellent. I felt like a celebrity. A very special vacation and experience, one I will remember always!

Beautiful experience at the resort. The staff was extremely friendly . The beach is absolutely stunning. You will not be disappointed. Come with friends to make the trip extra fun. The rooms need some updating. Our air conditioning did not cool past 74 degrees F. Too hot for summer. Also the tv speakers were blown out, the locks on the sliding balcony doors were broken and wouldn’t seal, and the water pressure and temperature were wonky. They need to work on the restaurant rotation. Too many meals served from the buffet restaurant. On a long stay this gets old very fast. More kid friendly options like Mac and cheese, chicken tenders, etc… should be added to the menus. Room service options are not good. These need to be redone. Come for the beach and the staff. It’s great.

Beach is stunning and sunset is amazing. Thanks to our butler Davita's hospitality and made our trip more memorable. Some staff are pretty nice, but some are not as friendly which caused an unpleasant experience during our vacation. The food is the worst out of all the Karisma resorts we've been to, only two restaurants open for dinner and very limited varieties.
