My recent stay at the Royalton Bavaro in Punta Cana was truly an exceptional experience, and the credit absolutely belongs to the incredible service and the amazing staff. While the resort's stunning beachfront and beautiful facilities set the stage for a great vacation, it was the warmth, professionalism, and dedication of the team that elevated our trip from great to truly unforgettable. The front desk staff handled our check-in with efficiency and a genuine smile, immediately setting a welcoming tone. Throughout our stay, the attentiveness of every staff member we encountered was flawless. Whether it was the servers at the buffet, who were always quick to refill a drink and clear a plate, or the bartenders at the pool and lobby. A special shout-out must be given to the team members running the beach and pool areas. The beach service was constant, fast, and incredibly friendly, making sunbathing completely effortless. Even the housekeeping staff worked diligently to keep our room immaculate, always offering a warm Hola in the hallway. It's clear that the staff at Royalton Bavaro go above and beyond the standard expectation. They are genuinely happy to help and committed to ensuring every guest has a wonderful time. This level of personalized care and the authentic Dominican hospitality truly is the heart of this resort, and it is the single greatest reason why we will definitely be returning. We highly recommend Royalton Bavaro for anyone seeking a vacation where impeccable service is guaranteed.

My stay at the Royalton Bávaro was more than I could ever ask for. The hotel property itself is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! The rooms were so clean and the only complaint I truly have in regards to this is that the outside flooring gets super slippery when wet. The food was great BUT I could definitely tell it was toned down for white people. It was seasoned well, but not seasoned to the level I would expect from a Dominican resort. The staff was generally so incredibly friendly! Newton was by far my favorite. He welcomed my group when we first arrived and he was also the last person we saw once we left. Such a kind soul who deserves all the kindness in the world. That isn't to say that there weren't bad apples among the group though. One woman who works in the Gelato shop was so incredibly rude that I avoided the shop every time I saw her in there. She treated me and my guest like they were stupid and on top of that, she would bad mouth us and others in Spanish wrongfully assuming that we couldn't understand. There was one moment where I asked for a strawberry sorbet in Spanish but then she rolled her eyes and responded "it's just strawberry ice cream". How am I supposed to know that? I read it from the label and that's what the label said. She (and a few others in the Gelato shop) were a huge sore spot of my trip The music they played on the property was a massive disappointment. I get it, a lot of they clientele are white people. But if I wanted to listen to white music I would've stayed home instead of traveling to DR. I expected to hear salsa, bachata, merengue, etc. but instead I heard Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa. Another major critic is the check in check out process. This needs a COMPLETE overhaul because it was just all around inefficient and slow. There would be a line of people but only two representatives working the desk. On top of that, the service was generally very slow once you got to speak to someone. Be prepared to wait in line We also got a couples massage that was to die for! I've never felt so relaxed in my life All and all, I loved my stay. I will definitely do it again but I will be mindful about what and who to avoid

We are currently staying at Royalton Bavaro in Punta Cana, and I have to say the hotel is absolutely beautiful — just like in the pictures! Our check-in experience was very pleasant. The lobby is stunning, and everything went smoothly and comfortably thanks to Shester Leonardo, who has been with us since our arrival and has continued to assist us throughout our stay. The food has been delicious so far, and the rooms are super comfortable and spotless. The beach is incredibly clean and completely free of seaweed, which I really appreciate since it’s been an issue in many places in recent years. Everything feels easier and more relaxing when you have great staff and kind people like Shester around you. So far, everything has been truly pleasant and enjoyable. Overall, we’re having a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Punta Cana.

Starting with the pros, The entertainment overall was very good. All the bands were nice and Ricardo from entertainment was also good. Our butler Michael was excellent, and deserves a raise. He made all our reservations and even decorated the room for our birthday without us even asking. The property was beautiful and the staff was very friendly we had a very good time despite the negative reviews we saw online. Now for the cons, the housekeeping staff did not do a very good job of cleaning, the rooms were not dirty but could have been cleaner. Additionally the food could use some improvement. The Japanese restaurant was the best food we had, our chef Carlito and server Daniel were very nice. Additionally David from the Ocean Side restaurant was also very nice. All in all it was a good experience for the price, and I would recommend booking the diamond club for a great experience.

Our stay at the Royalton Bávaro was exceptional. The service was honestly perfect — I really have nothing negative to say about the staff. From the first day, Ricardo from the entertainment team was the first to come check on us and make sure everything was going well, and that really set the tone. The entertainment team overall? 100% amazing. They kept the energy high every day — super friendly, super fun. As for the room, we did have several issues with the air conditioning — it stayed very cold and was hard to adjust. The bed was also a little dirty when we first arrived. But aside from that, the overall experience and service made up for it. I genuinely recommend this resort to everyone. The people, the vibe, the atmosphere… everything was on point.
