We had a fab stay. The hotel was spotless, food was lovely and all staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The entertainment was great. The kids club we only used a couple of times but there was plenty to keep the kids occupied if they wanted to join in.
We stayed in a kids escape family room, which was huge. The only downside was how small the balcony was for such a big suite. There was a table and 2 chairs which filled the balcony leaving no room to stand.
Our room was cleaned every day. The cleaners work very hard. As the hotel got busy over the Easter weekend we found the room was not being cleaned until after we had gone out for dinner, so we were having to ask for clean towels. This wasn't too much of an issue, more an observation that during busier periods maybe more staff are needed.
We did find you had to be up very early to get a lounger around the pool. It did seem that a lot would be reserved for hours with no one sat on them. It does say towels will be removed after 30 minutes but we didn't see that being enforced.
Overall we had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back again.

Currently at the Rixos Bab Al Bahr for an Easter family break. The good first. The service, amenities, food, drink and pools are brilliant, well worth it's 5 star status. However, the rooms are dated and in much need of a refurbishment. Generally clean but everything is just VERY well used and worn. If this was my hotel I would say the rooms need updating immediately and the rooms alone are worthy of 3 star or 4 star at best. Expect a few wobbly handles and taps as well as stained carpets. I would stay here again, after the rooms have been updated. To end on a high note the service and staff are excellent.

Currently here and wish I wasn’t, it’s gone 10pm and still waiting for the room to be made up, checked in at 3pm but didn’t even get a room till 3.45pm as that was another disaster, no additional bed made up yet at 10.20pm!!
As no phone works in the room, need to go to reception and that was over 30 minutes ago.
Wife and kids are celiac so need gluten free food options which we emailed ahead about, nothing provided as reception didn’t pass on any information and the restaurant had no idea. Luckily there is a great chef who took it upon himself to sort.
Reception might as well not be there, terrible and do not care about any issues.
I will leave the review waiting for a bed to sleep in and not looking forward to another day of this awful experience.
Family asleep now so need to walk back down to reception and cancel the bed being made up.
If you want some basic service, don’t come here!!

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. They have all inclusive package which is allows you to eat and drink for free from most of the restaurants. They have wide selection of international cuisine. Every night they have entertainment activities which was excellent. Sometimes the hotel can get crowded but still it is a really huge resort property. Great for families with children. There is lot of activities for children. Will definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful family holiday here with our 2 kids aged 3 and 6, so much for them to do and excellent facilities all around the hotel. Everywhere was clean and to a high standard.
The service at the hotel was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best holiday possible. Special shout out to the fishbone restaurant staff and their manager they were great. And also to Merlin at the reception coffee bar who made our kids “the best” hot milk every evening.
We are already looking to booking to come back!
