Had an absolutely fantastic stay here!! From the moment I arrived the service was absolutely exceptional. I was particularly thankful to First who helped me sort my transportation logistics for my subsequent plans. The room was majestic — incredibly well designed and comfortable. Super comfortable bed, lots of ambient space, well designed and luxurious bathroom. The restaurant was excellent and I was surprised to have some of the best khao soi here that IMO was better than some of the Michelin recognized dedicated khao soi shops. The seasonal yi peng tasting menu was fun but not mind blowing, but the breakfast a la carte buffet was excellent. It is a bit remote but they offer transfers to town and other destinations, but TBH just staying on the premises was very relaxing and comfortable :)

Service was impeccable. We got the suit with private swimming pool, and it was really really nice! The room was spacious and they offer morning and evening room cleaning services. At night, they will even light up essential oil burner and make the room smell great. Breakfasts were very delicious and delicate with ingredients sourced locally. The only downside is that the location isn’t the most convenient.

Unfortunately, even though the hotel has potential this was, being honest, the biggest dissapoinment I ever had travelling. We arrived to this beatutiful place and had been greeted by amazing front desk staff and general manager. We were presented the premises and our room, wich was spacious and clean. The room had a really nice but utterly strong smell of mosquito repellent/tealight wax scent. Which made my eyes water a little bit. It wasnt a huge problem, since we just took it out of the room. We saw the xiaomi air purifer showing 096 pm 2.5 due to that scent. We tried to use it, but infortunaelty it was broken, as the filter inside was not recognized by the machine. After a call, a techincian came and replaced the machine which then we used to de-smell the room, which worked ok, and got the particles level to about 005 pm2.5 Next day, when taking shower, the water pressure was fluctuating - What became a safety issue , is that the temperature also fluctuated so much, that it went from absolutely cold when the pressure was high, to STEAMING HOT when pressure was low - in a matter of a second. It was so hot it burned my face, I had to go to pharmacy and use a panthenol cream. T Usually it happens with in-line water heater, but for safety reasons each rooms water mixer should have include a limit set to a safe level. Here it obviously wasnt. The next morning (3rd of 6 )we book and early trip to elephant sanctuary. When I went to get a shower at 5:50 there was no hot water. I was pouring water for about 10 mins before we called the desk and asken when the water would be ready to use. The technican came, opened all faucets in room and after couple of minutes it became warm. Unfortunately, due do this taking so much time I didint had a chance to properly shower before we left for a whole day of walking. I sent a message on booking.com that was left unreplied. When we came back, we were assured it will be fixed. We dont know if it was, because... Next day we were brutally woken at 8:43 by full power PA system playing directly into our room. This happend to be a wedding ceremony with loud music and host going through a full sized PA in front of our room! I thought i was dreaming about a party, then i tought someone in room next door sat on a tv remote by mistake. But no, the management decided to book the hotel for a wedding ceremenony. We were only informed by a notice left in our room that on that day there will be some private ceremony hosted in restaurant and that the breakfast will be served in another venue at the hotel. There was no information about it being a full party with many guests, photo crew, sound crew etc. One would expect that in a 5star hotel it would have announced way earlier with offer of an whole day spa at different venue or a day activity or anything similar, stating which rooms would be most affected and having a solution ready in place. We immediately packed our luggage, checked out and changed hotels to a different one after that, as we wanted to have this behind us asap. On the positive side, they covered our dinner (which was amazing, the local restaurant is top notch). Also, we did recive refund for the 2 nights left in our reservation and a free transfer to our new hotel. We anticipated a intimate, tailored experience for our end-of-year holiday, but we recieved and anxious, unsafe, frustrating and sad experience. There are also small discrepancies between the hotels enviormently-aware and green politics and the execution. Some additional small notes: Also, the view from the hotel is directly into a construction site and is far from "quiet jungle retreat". Doors in the bathroom open both ways but really not, since the furniture blocks the door, so you can open it into the toilet only. AC remote controls only one of the units inside of the room and is not controlled by central unit. This is a really expensive hotel for what it offers and if you seek a seamless, quiet, intimate experience - I cant recommend it at all.

Raya Heritage is truly a hidden gem! The hotel combines modern comfort with traditional charm, creating a relaxing and beautiful environment. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-equipped. The staff are exceptional always friendly, helpful and attentive, making every moment of our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and serene. I left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to return.
